Stay hulldown, should provide a distraction for the enemy as you have good amour and sidescraping is not a bad idea too. When you are being pushed by multiple tanks just wiggle as much as you can. Try to be the first tank in line when against the enemy meaning do not hide behind your team

Please, never break your teammates spirit and this is particularly true in start and in end. Your teammates don’t follow your instructions? Maybe change your own plan. Saying “rEPorT [insert heavies who went town] 😠” won’t work nor help your team. Even if their plan don’t work what can you lose from sticking with them?
Seriously this advice should be obvious as hell and is true for all team multiplayer games but it makes me crazy how there is still guys who think “they’ll improve if I say ”lost, gg reds” and ”losers””

If you mean out of the German lines, then the VK 36.01 H and Tiger 1 are better than the VK 30.01 P (it's a med anyway, so not great for learning a heavy playstyle) and better than Tiger P, as for the tier X I would leave the VK 72.01 K alone, go for the E 100 (matches with the good lower tiers anyway) or if you don't want to then go Maus. If you meant out of all heavies then the American T 29 line is fantastic for newer players, from tier V to tier VIII, however if going for a tier X then what positive said is good advice, the tier VIII (53 TP) is particularly easy to play (easiest in the line IMO, probably partly because it's a lower tier than the 60 TP), the tier IX (50 TP) is good but probably the hardest out of the three higher tier heavies, and the tier X (60 TP) is super easy to play (from hearsay)

Heavies: learn to sidescrape properly (not each tank works the same), dont peak on td's unless your hull is covered, know the right time to flank, dont keep on peeking of you are on a disatvantaged side and dealing less dmg while recieving more, instead try ro get teamates with you (2) to overwhelm the troublimg tanks. Never go too far away or stay too clumped with your team. DONT CAMP OR SNIPE IN THEM.

Tds: follow your team and stay covered behind, once a few enemies are spotted, go to a good bush (one where you are at low risk of being flanked) and there you pew pew pew. Avoid direct contact. If you are flanked, dont just mindlessly turn, if you got fast reload, break the tracks and try to back up to ur team. DONT CHARGE FRONTLINE. if you see camping heavies that took a good bush tell them to get off.

Lights: i suck at them so cant give advice but dont camp and to spot without getting stuck into fire. Lights usually fast and mobile so support ur team if you see trouble.

Meds: play like a chad.

General tips: watch vids and also play with platoon mates.

Well, for general gameplay improvement I strongly suggest watching bushka on blitz, an old blitz youtuber, has fantastic videos for basic learning etc., if you want any more specific tips then ask here, I can give you one basic one, don't peek when an enemy is looking at you or you think they are, wait until they can't see you or are distracted, just because an enemy damages you doesn't mean you have to die to get back at him, you'll win the battle in the long run by playing cautiously

It’s due to a chat bug which was abused, certain characters could be spammed to make the enemy lag or freeze, basically acted like a lag switch, it was quite common so wg shortened the number of characters allowed, apparently it was fixed last night but if so they’ve shortened it back again, as of an hour and a half ago it’s still restricted. @potent coyote you saying it’s been fixed but now there’s another bug with the fix??

Presuming the numbers shown are real and not just a display issue. @stiff pebble M-V-Yoh, it’s got pretty good armour, solid dpm with the 3 shot gun, 8 degrees depression is ok to hull down with, its speed and mobility is fairly average. I would say the t54e1 is a worse tank, however if going for a tier ten I would say the t 57 and m vi yoh are fairly equal

Play to your tank's strengths. If it has a good gun, find places where you can dish out some damage without being flanked (this is where camping in a bush is a good option). If it's fast and does good damage (i.e. the Foch 155 or FV4005) go for flanks or spots where you can get to before the enemies can to get some nice early game shots. Mid map Alpenstadt is great for this.

Your main role is as support, so I would usually advise against frontlining and scouting, but there are exceptions (eg. Jageroo sidescraping & trading shots frontline)

Never go too far from your team as TDs generally aren't as versatile as the other tank classes.

also go watch guides from youtubers like Bushka or HisRoyalFatness on either TDs as a whole, map positioning, or on individual tank guides as they are more experienced than I am

If you’re talking about the Tiger I, going through the hull at all should not be a problem. The upper plate is about 180mm thick when unangled, and the lower plate’s thickness lies around 160-165mm if I remember right. Assuming you have the upgraded gun with 203mm of pen, that shouldn’t be a problem. If the enemy Tiger is angling, you probably can either still pen the lower plate or the lower part of the sides (the area where the tracks are).

Go med side and try to support however you can there. It’s awkward yes, but sitting on heavy side by the windmill is too risky. Going windmill = relying on your teammates to control or at least contest the med side. Relying on random teammates isn’t the best idea.
If they fail for whatever reason and you’re by windmill, then you will just get farmed from the Church. You can’t back away because that involves driving through the open and in TD/heavies line of sight. Not to mention Tog doesn’t have that much armour and has a huge profile. For pretty much any heavy I try to avoid windmill side. Too much reliance on teammates in that position.

It's a hull down farming tank. Armour: solid turret, only real weakspot is the cupola, accurate guns will hit it so don't stay still for too long, upper plate is decent, will be penned by prammo a lot, don't ever try to brawl as the lower plate is also quite large and the sides are quite weak. Gun is amazing, got very nice dpm with good prammo alpha, nice pen i believe, solid hesh pen, use it to farm out weak meds. Great mobility, power to weight of around 16 and decent traverse, again great for bullying meds, I can't remember what top speed is but it'll be around 40 so pretty average. Just a very basic hull down damage farmer as far as i can tell, hopefully others can give you better advice.

Play it like a fat medium. Just because it’s labelled a heavy doesn’t mean you just drive with your heavies and frontline because that is not its purpose.
A lot of the time I will go with my mediums and support them, rather than frontlining against enemy heavies.
You have 10 degrees of gun depression and some turret armour, use ridgelines where you can to hide your hull.
But pretty much play like everything will penetrate you. Like I said, the turret has some armour but there are spots on the turret that can be shot through and of course the hatch on top. The hull is worthless aside from the occasional bounce from the upper plate angling. Sides will get easily torn through, don’t even try to sidescrape.

Go med side, use your mobility to spot, top speed is best in the game but acceleration is average so might be worth using a speed boost to help, you’ll need to sacrifice a repair kit though if you want both adrenaline (necessary imo) and speed boost, and it has a high chance of taking module damage as anything can HE it, try different things out. I’m very (the worst you’ll see) bad at playing it, but basically after spotting decide whether your flank can win, if it can stay and support meds, don’t expose yourself unless your camo is reset or enemies have all fired/ are distracted, it’s very easy to lose HP in this tank and it’s not forgiving of even a slight mistake. You need to save HP for the end game where you can finish off tanks with your good DPM. You need to be aware of where all enemies are at all times, it’s basically the epitome of playing meds/lights, you need to be the brains of your team. Don’t forget it has 10 degrees GD over the side but only 6 over the front (2/4 over the rear) so always poke sideways when hull down, your tracks have a better chance of blocking HE than your front anyway. Lastly it has very nice HE pen, 103/5 MM (without CS) so use your mobility to get around the sides and rears to for that extra alpha, but be careful if you mess up a HE shot you lose dpm instead of gaining. Fugit put out a good video on the Ru recently, I’ll ping you in general discussion with a link if you want some alternative/better ideas. I suggest running CS on it, you get better HE pen (~117 I think) and HEAT pen is 275 with CS (very good) which makes up for the horrible AP pen (187/180 w/without CS, but extra DPM is always useful if you prefer. Ideally to use your DPM to its full advantage you want to find a spot where you can farm the enemy unspotted or without being focused, otherwise you have to carefully want for camo to reset just for 225 alpha, but that’s necessary in some situations. Remember you have the highest top speed in game for a reason.

for the Kranvagn, wait until your magazine is full, and then only fire the “top” shell, the last one to be reloaded

usually the best way to play these tanks is to fire 1-2 times, even if you’re not getting the best DPM. you rarely want to dump the full clip as it will make it hard to continue being effective. even though the Emil II gets better DPM on its first shell that is reloaded, it’s not meant to be played as a single shot tank.

basically, only dump the full clip when your last shot will either kill an enemy that is brawling you, or at least puts them to a 1 shot

Play second line, or flank… probably you should support your team and use your mobilety… play Boom and Zoom, beans push in, unload your 3 shoots and leave

Progetto is an interesting tank because you need to know when to empty your clip and when you need to preserve your DPM. At some points you need to clip out and hide generally when you know you are going to be in 20 second lull otherwise you can act as a single or two shot tank trading 1 for two with your short interclip reload. Try not to get isolated as your dpm is definitely subpar and avoid dumping your entire clip at the start if you do get into those situations as your DPM gets even worse

It’s not an easy tank to play. You haven’t got any armour, you’re a support med. try not to over extend, especially in the early part of the battle, never go past the half way mark on the map. Try to spot, then decide where you can best help your team and deal damage. Remember, sniping is not the same as camping. When actually firing try to go hull down, you may block something on the mantlet but don’t expect it. Just peek only when you know where the enemy is or you’re not spotted/they’re distracted. You have the highest HEAT pen for a med in tier eight which is nice, useful when facing hull down tanks. Dpm is average, don’t expect to win a brawl as a you fit none of the requirements, always keep a good distance and stay within support of your team if advancing. Be prepared to relocate in case you get pushed

As most turretles one just stay in the back behind some bush and camp, in some maps u can even camp in ur spawn. That being said some turretles td have better mobility and or better gun depression for second line support on med zone. There are also some turretles td with enough armor to withstand a heavy zone but thats mostly either German or Chinese high level one. But then again it's all up to their driver (u essentially) map knowledge, battle flow knowledge and mini map awareness to figure out where to relocate to get less dmg and trow more.

As turreted td, think of them as med supports essentially tho u need greet map battle and reactivity awareness all together if u plan to play em good enough. Eventually when u get bored with td, cos in time, u learn everything that can be learned then u can start some kind of hybrid use of em and just plaem as med light or even heavy in some strict case like the infamous jaggero that scare every heavy on frontline among heavy

Personally I really don’t like it. It’s pretty bad IMO.
It’s like an E 50 M that simply doesn’t work.
Turret is really bad, which means hull down or sidescraping are both a pretty bad option. It only has (I believe) 6 degrees gun dep over the front, and it’s a very tall profile tank, so to use 8 degrees gun dep you have to peek sideways, further reducing its armour capabilities. It’s very slow, so it can’t rush easily to use its fantastic upper plate and hide it’s massive lower plate. It’s modules are incredibly bad, transmission behind the lower plate catches fire nearly every battle. It’s side being hit will result in an ammo rack crit. It’s gun is the only good thing, fantastic accuracy, so it’s kind of left to snipe a lot of the time. So the slow speed and armour are kind of irrelevant except for occasional situations. It’s also a tier nine med, which usually have atrocious stock grinds. While not as bad as the Leo PTA this still ranks as one of the worst, so save tons of fxp.
Lastly, yes the E 50 M is worth the pain, it’s a good tank, especially for beginners (out of the meds) and is fun to play. Also actually looks good unlike the E 50 LOL.

Exposing the lower hull plate can be a vulnerability, same for the sides. Exposing the front is a good thing and you can wiggle too. The side of the turret is a flat surface so it can be prone to HESH shells. When you are going against an e100, it’s best recommended to not go for that top horizontal bar on top of the turret since it’s really hard to get the right shot. Instead, use premium ammo (if it can penetrate the front turret)

Sure but career profile statistics in general can be misleading or not mean that much if you have low amount of battles as is such in your case. You're doing fine, but your statistics are going to fluctuate as you play more and go up the tiers.

Going back over your replays when you have bad games can be useful. Recognise what your mistakes were and what you should have done differently. The biggest thing is to not get stuck in a mindset of constantly blaming teammates or the game for everything. There are plenty of people that will never improve and are forever stuck in the 40% , 50% range because they are stuck in a cycle of blaming everything around them without looking at themselves and self-improvement. Even better players that average 60% , 3000+ damage on their tier ten tanks have bad days or make mistakes. But they are far more consistent because they learn from it.
Other sources like HisRoyalFatness can be useful for learning if you are interested in watching better players and seeing what they do and their logic.

Hmm I can see, your most damage in battle and average XP is pretty low. If you want to increase your winrate you can try going low tier, with T-15 or another collector that makes it easy. Never rush unless you have a strong tank and that someone is coming with you, support your allies if you can and flank around supportless TDs if there are no other enemies nearby. Imo map dependant in some maps you cant really play aggressively and in some maps it works well as a "support" medium. For example in faust you cant really do anything else than be passive for the start and yamato harbour the "spottin hill" balcony is a good position. I run the improved engine boost and clip reload on it for this reason. So basically a mix of grille and leopard.

Then again that is just my play style and it might not work for you

I suggest shooting at any armor plate you see that would deflect the shell downwards into the hull roof if you can’t penetrate anywhere on the enemy tank. its a heavium, it can be good played with your meds - but as a frontline heavy you will do bad. It has a fair gun, and a 50-55kph speed so you can play well in supporting your lighter armor.

Angle, angle, angle, don’t face opponents head on, the e75 bounces shots well if you figure out the proper angle to use , point a front corner at enemy tanks rather than the front end squarely pointed at the enemy, and then some wiggle before the enemy shoots at you. This will produce bounces. If you can get a buddy to help you in a training room with different guns you will likely face in battle and this will help you figure out the best angles to use, angled properly even your lower plate will produce bounces. E75 is kind of difficult to figure out, once you do though, you won’t dread those tier 10 battles you find yourself in with the tank. I look forward to them now, the e75 will hold its own against many tanks. Don’t forget your turret , you have to angle it also , you don’t want to be looking directly at enemy tanks when they shoot. Turret and chassis of tank both must be angled. Disclaimer, I’m far from an expert, E 75 is one of my favorite tech tree tanks and I didn’t see any other responses to your post, maybe I missed them. The stuff above is exactly the advice a very good player once gave me, I hope it helps you in some way as well! Peace!

Get a winrate calculator, it will determine how many battles you might need to reach your desired winrate. The lower the battles the easier it would be. If you’re not able to reach 50% despite tons of attempts then it’s clear that your account winrate is damaged beyond repair so you are not able to retrieve that amount.

The German series is all in all good, but you need to angel… you also can play USA as starter… they are the easiest to play if all nations, but they have there own particular weakspot… Germany has angel weakspots… but you can do a lot of damage later… you have good guns, but your reload isn’t the best… also your speed is limited

That's your choice, if you're playing from cover, hetzer is good for you. If you play on open or with teammates, leopard or pz iv are good, if both, then try leveling up both tanks but don't forget to look at tank stats.

Are you aware that prammo does less dmg? For most 400dmg standard heavies the heat has only 340 dmg. Also with heat you cant pen tracks and have worse shell normalisation. With tanks like chieftain mk6 you have 360dmg on the premium apcr so you could probably play prammo only. Still use the ammo type that is the best for each shot.

Try to hide your copula, if you can… angle you hull as much as you can… the normal At15 will be easily penned at the upper Glaces, by all kinds of premium ammo… all German guns at this tear are able to penn your upper Glaces with Ap (when they are at the same Tier) your rove is also kinda a weekspot, but hard to hit… all premium Ammo types, give you a extra weekspot at your bubbles at the front. Try to use your DPM… if you hide your Commander Copula (The big one), and you angle, to the left (that your gun looks to the right), the enemy Hase a quit hard time… the gameplay on the At15A is kinda the same, but your gun is a bit weaker then on the At15A, but your reload is better… also your upper Glaces are no weekspot anymore, but high penn Ap from some tanks at T8, are able to give a weakspot on the flat areas on your Armor, and also the some at your bubbles

@sly lichen VK 90.01 (P) is a tank as good as your pfp. Only part of the VK 90 in which you can angle is the hull. Don’t rely on the turret as it can be penned by everyone with gold shells. Try to sidescrape in the VK 90.01 (P) if possible as the tank is really good at sidescraping. Don’t go on city side of the maps as usual and do not rely on your gun depression. Remember it is 4 and not 10 degrees gun depression.
TL;DR Great tank for sidescraping but cannot perform too well in irregular terrain

@tall sequoia Light tanks are very unforgiving. Especially french tanks. For light tanks in general, play it as a scout. Go to the middle side of the map or a bush in the open only if you have support and cover. after getting spotted, run to your heavies if they are going to a different direction or if you’re getting outnumbered. if they aren’t, go support your mediums but not as aggressive as them as most light tanks feature poor armor and good accuracy, so it can be played as a medium-support vehicle.

@trim torrent To use HE shells, it strongly depends on your caliber. for example, you’re driving an action x. the tank’s HE shells are 44mm thick, which is very few for a tier 8. though it doesn’t mean you can’t use it. then while cruising with you action x, you encounter an enemy action x facing the other direction. you can easily HE the back as it is only 40mm thick, meaning you can deal up to 200 damage.

I grinded the WZ-113 too. imo the 110 is the most fun of the line (excluding the 113). the 110 has one feature that other soviet and chinese tanks don’t: the gun. the gun is very special, a 100mm for a pike-nosed heavy tank is rather odd. to play the 110 (and all other chinese heavy tanks in the line), you must play hulldown and utilize the DPM. don’t always rely on its turret armor though as most of them have a hatch that can be penetrated if aimed correctly.

@sturdy flume I know someone who plays the FV215B 183. They load only 1 HE shell (not HESH). Only use your HE if you can penetrate it. The 183’s HE (not HESH) also deals slightly more damage than the regular HESH shells.

For anyone who wants to buy a good tier 8 autoloading premium heavy tank, buy the Emil 1951 or T77, depends on your playstyle.

Emil 1951 boasts good armor that can help you deflect some shells. Don’t rely on it too much though as it requires you to use your gun depression because of its weak turret. (Even a T-44 with standard rounds can penetrate it without a problem)

T77
The son of the M-VI-Yoh and the T57 Heavy. The T77 has a mediocre armor profile BUT can bounce most standard shells 200mm and under. The T77 also has a great gun that can deal an estimate of 800 damage in only 3 seconds, more damage than a Bourrasque.

Also some notable auction tanks that are both good and affordable:

• AMX 13 57
• AMX 30 1er Prototype (highly recommended)
• T54E2 (wait for the price to drop since it’s quite pricey, the BF offer for the same tank was much cheaper)

Ignoring
The best way to counter them. Simply ignore them and let them be if they perform poorly or do not meet your expectations in battle.

Commands
Can tell them in team chat to do a specific order in battle like “go” or “push”. They are all valid due to the fact that they would likely do so. But not recommended due to most players ignoring your commands.

Invalid Counters

Intentionally Throwing
Actions like Pushing, Yoloing or being purposely AFK are not tolerated. It will be more ironic since you will make yourself look like the clown in the battle.

Insulting Race, Nationality, Gender or Religion
Hating on players is okay. But insulting them personally really is a different level of countering. It’s not even counted as one.

Threatening Players
Telling them to do self-harm or exaggerating is wrong is many ways. Very self-explanatory.

If you’re in a light, medium, a heavy with good turret armor or a heavy that has good mobility (40+km/h), always go to the places with irregular terrain or with hills. You can also go into town, but is very much not recommended to go to due to it usually not having map control in battle (unless it’s supremacy you can go there). If you’re in a tank destroyer, go to the nearest bushes or nearest hills with bushes and enjoy a farm fest as they usually offer good concealment, effective team support and map control

Rule of thumb would be to not push over centre line of the map. There's usually a (diagonal) line dividing maps into defensive vs offensive side.
Ince you go across that you are in enemy territory and are more open to get spotted. Plus red may have good defensive positions.

Second, before crossing open ground, make a quick dip into the open, wait to see if the bulb goes off and only then proceed. Move from cover to cover - be it rocks, houses, nooks in terrain, dead tanks - and always try to use bushes to your advantage

Dracula is a support tank, so you really need good allies. Don’t go to heavy side since you don’t have good hp and armor like heavies. To play in a second-line playstyle on the Dracula, you will need to be behind and near your mediums (normally second-lining works for heavies too, but not for a Dracula), but make sure your positions will not get you shot or farmed at by the enemy.

An auto-Reloader also has a magazine but it doesn't reload the entire magazine at once but one shell at a time but you can still shoot even in the middle of loading another shell

I grinded the Yohs since a very long time. Only grind the tank if you like dumping damage since that (in my opinion) is the main specialty of the Yoh tanks. Play the Tier 8, 9 and 10 hulldown due to them having good armor and gun depression.

In my opinion the whole wz's are just good tanks to begin with, 112 celestical is a great tank since it has an IS-3 turret instead of a typical chinese one. Since I own both 112 and glacial these are really similar tanks but 112 is simply better since it has the better turret, whereas glacial has crazy t h i c c armour. About the tech tree ones, wz-110 isnt that bad bud I'd rather an IS-3 since it is simply having the better turret while 110 has the worse one with two big hatches. So it is a good tank overall but I'd rather a tank with flat frontal armour. Sorry about my really late reply btw lols

Totally agree with you, the Chinese tech tree is good, although some tanks have issues, the majority are good. The TD being the best TD in the game, the heavy tank is just amazing to play with and wz too which has a unique playstyle (TIER X)

What I’m mostly concerned about is the WZ-111-1G FT.
(Tier 8)

For tier 6 and 7, the WZ-131G and T-34-2G are powerful for its tier, with a strong enough gun and fast mobility, but upon reaching the -111-1G, This is the opposite. Your tank is really slow, and is absolutely vulnerable. It’s hard to get the modules, and your HP is very low, about the same for a RHM. 3 shots of 400 even with improved assembly, and you are dead. You may think the armour is strong, but in reality it’s very easy to penetrate it from the side and it gives the impression that it is a paper tank. In my experience, most of the time I was not able to camp normally since the team went ahead and stole most of the kills, however this can be different. If a light tank flanks you, you are not able to outrun him. One of the only good things about this tank is the gun. In my opinion, the WZ-111-1G FT is a nightmare. Be careful when buying it.

I would suggest first finding a YT video on what ever tank your playing, second go back to your replays and watch what mistakes you make then try not to do them again. Also look at the stats for tanks so you know who you can trade with or out DPM

I think there is nothing better than trying to understand the tank you play by your own. I can tell to you by my experience. Just try to understand what you are doing try to find for example new positions on the map suitable for you tank. Try to improvise and if it doesnt work then you can try to find some video as the guy said before me.

Action X: Unwanted Review

Action X is a Tier VIII British Premium Heavy Tank, capable of dumping and (sometimes) blocking damage at a short amount of time. Since this tank recently got PBR, I’m going to share my thoughts on this, in case anyone wants to buy it.

Armor
It is a heavily armored vehicle. A good amount of armor on the turret (290mm flat) but is vulnerable to Tier 9 tanks using premium shells and some tank destroyers. The hatch is one of the most noticeable weak spots, if you aim just right you can farm the tank easily. I recommend going to more irregular hilly terrain compared to others at the tank can hulldown and has 10 degrees gun depression (which can also hide the hatch when using full gun depression).

Gun
The gun is simply amazing. The accuracy is quite good, but don’t expect to hit all shots, especially on the move. The main kicker of the gun is its DPM which is around 2700 but is way less than the regular tech tree Caernarvon. It is still a reliable gun, a rare one compared to other heavy tanks. What makes this tank one that I don’t recommend to new players is its alpha damage. The alpha damage is 190, the lowest damage in Tier 8.

Mobility
The tank’s mobility is actually not that bad. Its mobility is good for a tank with strong armor. 36 km/h of top speed is pretty good. The tank also accelerates quite fast, reaching over 30 km/h in half a minute.

Playstyle
The playstyle is simple, go into hulldown positions and farm as much damage as possible. Considering its DPM, it is also good for supporting medium tanks.

Is It Worth It?
Despite being a good tank, I highly do not recommend the tank, especially for new players due to its alpha and sometimes frustrating armor. It’s also the fact that there are numerous other existing Tier VIIIs that outclass this tank, such as the T54E2, 53TP Markowskiego, Object 252U, AMX M4 49, Caernarvon, Tiger 2 and the list goes on.

TL;DR: A good tank but not worth for new players.

The question is what how much you call low… the side armor of an Is-1/2 is around 50-80mm, that‘s a tank where it is possible to side scrape… but everything below it with a tank like a m6, I would say no… depends on the tank… with mediums is possible, but not ever can… with lights, I would say no, and with heavys, it‘s the most time possible, with a few exceptions

VK 16.02 Leopard (Tier 5) is a meme tank. It’s bad statwise due to its penetration values but good because of its bursting abilities. Though this tank is not recommended for new players.

Leopard 1 is an amazing tank, one of the best medium tanks in the game. Great accuracy and mobility, but very hard to play. Play it as a second-line sniper, but not a spawn-camping tank. Again, not recommended for new players.
