Yesterday I purchased the moose camo in the Mercenary Hideout event for 4,000 of those white tubular tube looking items. Prior to purchasing it I activated it and it showed the moose camo on a larger scale. It did not indicate it was only for one particular tank. I activated the moose camo one more time and it was displayed on an unknown tank to me. This tank was not identified. There was no indication anywhere this camo is only for one particular tank.

So I purchased it and once in my possession I tried to place it on one of my tanks. Only at this time I was made aware his moose camo is only applicable to the tier V111 Lansen C.

I do not possess the Lansen C nor do I wish to posses this tank.

It seems to me camo that is for sale or available in a competition should be identified that it is only good for a particular tank.

This is misleading, confusing and not very professional. Items for sale or put up in a challenge must be identified it is only suitable for a particular tank or type of tank, etc.

They're not the same. The HEAT battery used by the T58 is high-speed, while the one in the game is normal; that's the difference.

I feel like they are also significantly harming the variety of T8

The team, if they are going to go down down this path (I wouldn't), should be picking tanks that play extremely similarly to existing T8s and are underutilized/mediocre. Some Russian mediums that all play like each other, Chinese heavies with the same shape and playstyle, Russian heavies with the same shape and playstyle.

Not super unique tanks like the T27, Torn, and TS-60. The skoda T27 is the only fast autoreloader low damage fast clip tank, the torn is the only concept 1-b style turret in T8, the TS-60 which is the only big armor rear turret TD, the E75TS is the only flat faced tiger 2 example in T8 though you could argue it's similar to the Lowe-Keiler-Tiger 2 despite pretty unique armor profile difference between those, even the Kanonen which is E25 like, flat with paper armor and speed (though this is getting close to the CDA).

From this perspective the T2020 is the only relatively good pick, with the Kanonen and probably E75TS being next best but overall not good. Those first 3 have no real comparison they are very unique and welcome additions to T8. You should always be considering changes with the understanding that tier 8 is a tier people like to play a lot and is in a good balance state and T9 is mostly played because you are grinding a tech tree on the way to a T10. If anything I would be making economic changes to T9 before doing this to make some upside to this.

The german heavies in 8 have like all the mixes of all their armor types it is cool. Flat turret flat body, round turret flat body, rounded turret round body, and the Tiger 2 is kind of in between all of that with a small flat turret front and rounded sides and a more angular body than the Lowe but less than the HE skirt tanks.

I think it is pretty good as is, a more mobile T28 Defender I think, 400 alpha with 7.5 intraclip can be very strong for trading.

Lupus is pretty unique in that it's a 400 alpha gun at tier 7 with not quite obvious weakspots because it is so rare and -12° of gun depression.

Yes, Reforge a bit. I played on a tablet, and the graphics were worse than on the current Blitz. But when you play on a computer, it looks great, although it distracts me.

I think they should make Blitz more fun to play, like adding chat and strategy, because now on many maps you can t play with bushes and with scouts, and it is very hard to spot. Look at the PC version—yes, it is made for computers, it is bigger, but look how much strategy it has. I don’t know, maybe I am a fan of skill games and strategy, because now you get spotted across the map 🙁

Yeah, the developers did good things in the last months, like adding damage, block, and spot indicators, gun marks, making Christmas more interesting, and finally adding tanks with new mechanics 🙂

I think in Reforge they should add voting, and players should choose what they want. They should rebalance maps, and I still can’t get why you chose Unreal Engine. It is for strong computers, but if you optimize it, it will look terrible. Why not Unity? Unity is good for many consoles and is optimized.And do not remove blitz climbs!!!! like you doing in rockfield!!!!

If you really want to make Blitz look good, just make a setting button to activate all particles and awesome graphics. And add more game modes, like Gladiator (Lesta has it in Tanks Blitz).And make tanks like churclil8 coll like add explosive shels because his gun like artilery .

just make maps bigger and view range a bit smaller than add mor bushes and add more camouflage to them then make private rooms cooler by allowing to play ANY gamemode and max players not 14 but 25 and game is fixed:)

It is NOT a reroll. It is an accidental research of a vehicle. According to the official Refund Policy, I am eligible for a refund because I have 0 battles on the T28. The problem is that support agent Richard Green is ignoring this policy and closing my tickets without reading. I have the proof of 0 battles.

It makes perfect sense when you are in the equipment/modules menu of the T28 Prototype and the interface glitches or you misclick onto the next tank in the line. The UI can be confusing. More importantly, I spent 3.6 million silver on equipment for the T28 Prototype right before this happened. Why would I spend millions on modules for one tank if I intended to skip it and research the next one? The silver trail proves my intent was to play the Prototype, not the T28.

I never had issues with 12 pens quest. It's annoying but as long as you do 12 damaging shots without getting rammed or dying , it always counted for me.

Running a Pingplotter diagnostic test from my location showed the IP address of a router that was adding ping to my connection with NA_C0. Then I ran that IP address through an IP lookup site which showed it to be a TATA Comm router in Chicago (not the cluster or router).

I also ran a quick battle through NA_C2 with no problems. My conclusion is that there is a router just before C0 that is having intermittent problems, but the cluster and server are ok.

A few points: I am not a developer. I am fellow player with some computer and networking insights, who happens to have done troubleshooting and analysis of " the blitz servers are bad " for over a decade ...

Did I say that you did not have bad ping or that you did not suffer packet loss?
No I did not deny that you had an issue.

What I opined is that it was a local issue, and perhaps very isolated as there are zero other complaints on here, at this time.

The number 1 thing people forget is that there are hundreds if not thousands of miles of internet and a dozen to two dozen points of where the signal can get hung up or slowed down ... between the player and the server.

As I mentioned, pingplotter is the easiest and free tool to do some troubleshooting.

Peoplel connect from various parts of country and world to the game server. Using different ISPs and get sent on different backbone providers.

Localized issues happen.
If it happens to be at a backbone ... it will be bad for a lot of people ... if it happens in Chicago; it can be terrible for loads of people.

The key is to use some tools and doing some analysis to get the whole picture.

Thanks for the feedback. After several run ins with WG support I stopped filing tickets. Blitz servers have a load issue as ping can be 40-50ms and you are losing packets as high as 20℅. My system is on ethernet. And I run most diagnostics from terminal (linux). My platoon mate lives in another city and was seeing the same issue this afternoon whether we were platooning or not.

I also have a long history or tracing and performance tuning of web based applications. I can even pull out Wireshark and start sniffing packets ... tracert and all kinds of magical things I have been doing since 1999. But there is no use me doing this unless I am working with the people who have access to the game servers. Who knows maybe a switch or network load balancers is failing. So thank you for your suggestions. My comments are related to the feeling that there is not good two way conversation happening between Wargaming and the User base when they are having issues. The recent auctions where every day there were game performance issues is what is driving the frustration. We should not be trying to troubleshoot these things in a public forum either. Because like you said ... it could be time based and so many other factors. So I will just leave this one be. The next time I have these issues I will just shut off the game and do something else. Because I don't feel WG is really valuing the end user base time if they continue to have quality issues in running the game weekly. Depending on end users to report the performance issues just means your monitoring solution is not working. What are they going to do when Reforged comes online and we have several continents on the same infrastructure? I don't want to dig myself a hole here as I have not seen any real commitments on how they will run or manage it. Just preparing for another rough shot ride as they transition. We see the same kind of thing happen with many EA titles. Wonderful bugs the first 6 months.

Back in the day I won 55 parts for a leKpz M 41 90 tank certificate. Since that version of the parts certificate is no longer used I may never get the 45 parts I need to get the tank (which I've long since bought but...). Allowing charms to be converted avoids that problem.

Transfering everything from Blitz into the Reforged Ultra Tests is shown in the transfer hub. When you try it out in Ultra Test 4 you'll see an item wihere you are compensated for anything that couldn't be transferred.

(Since the tests are a work in progress a decision on some items may not have been made yet)

Why would I buy a tank ever again?

In a month the tank is probably not the same tank as I bought.
Small changes to even out too strong or too weak tanks could be expected and accepted.
But major changes to playstyle is not!

It might be the tanks are losing its unique character like speed armor or precision gun and just becoming one like all the other tanks.
The type of gun could be completely different (high pen <-> HESH or single shot <-> autoloader).
The tank might not even be the same tier. Going from T8 to T9 sounds like a good deal - but only if you plan to sell. You buy a tank for the tier you want to play, not for the sales value. Imagine buying a T8 to play tournaments only to see it becoming T9 and useless for tournaments.

Would that motivate you to buy a new tank or leave the game with an angry review?

Tanks are reduced to skins and lottery tickets for the next "balance change".

##How about a Camouflage rework?

For several years we got a bunch of amazing camos in the game but nobody seems to really use the ones for silver, who can afford, sticks with legendary camos or just puts a random one he likes and I can tell you why. They are a bit ugly and doesn't match the vehicles if you put just a random one of them without thinking, don't get me wrong, there are still a great camouflages you can put on a tank, but most of them are a bit outdated compared to what we're getting from passes or events, and maybe it's time for rework, not just New shiny graphics. For about two years I been playing only on these, as I call them "national camouflages" , they are mostly great for realistic mode and they deserve a bit of love, all it takes is more matching to each other camos or just new designs.
