To be honest, this game is different from the game orientation that Asia sees, compared to a PC. I think it can't be helped. Even if there are many promo, the difference in the game is clear from region by region.

Punishments and rewards change people all the time, sometimes more effective than other times. People on this channel repeatedly show they don't care about either so don't change. My suggestion to WG is simple. In these “shorter” money blaster type seasons, keep the rewards the same from the seasons as before, where top 4 gets pro camos, top 8 gets pro avatar, and top 12 gets cyber camos, etc. That being said, I think that there needs to be new cyber camos, introduced to gain appeal from “new” comp players, and new rewards to entice old comp players to stay in the game. I think everyone can agree that once you start playing comp for a long period of time most of these rewards become stale.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be playing this season if I didn’t have a team of friends to play with. If I was a player that wanted to feel that their time was worthwhile playing a season, I would just skip this one. There’s nothing worth playing for (at least so it seems since there is no pro avatar and no koth-i.e. what comp players really want). Not only that all top 16 teams appear to be getting nothing except free xp, credits, and gold (tho it’s never worth it for the gold so 🤷‍♂️). All of that can be received by just playing the game. If I was on a team going for anything less than top 8, I’d be asking what exactly is the point of the effort? Don’t get me wrong, I love tourneys just as much as the next player. I’m just disappointed that we’re receiving nothing of value for our effort.

Promoting Blitz E-Sports could be a way to increase the long-term and new player count here on Asia (any other server really). It was the RA1D Fort Despair that actually lured me into the game when my friend showed a video clip of it. 😄

I think we need to increase the reward to TOP 9-32. TOP 16-32 has only PA, Credit and little gold, which is something they can get enough time and money for. You have to know that you can't be satisfied with motivation and their motivation with the reward now. As far as I know, the number of wotb users is increasing little by little. The problem is that there is almost no promo of tournament, and there are only a few announcements by video. The tournament's promo needs to be more continuous, more promo times and more emphasis so that they can try. Just an idea I’m putting out there, considering that the summer season tournament is called “new way to play” and quite a lot of people are bummed out by the rewards, maybe make it so that 12 teams make it to the final tournament instead of only 8. This would give the season more meaning to more players and also would technically be a “new way to play” as brackets with 12 teams would be different with 4 brackets of 3 teams. Just a thought

What id actually like to happen is that wg would release the schedule much earlier so people could actually plan ahead instead of releasing final dates like 1 week or a couple days before it starts. Fixed rosters mean even less flexibility. If wg really would care about increasing level of gameplay they’d actually share their plans and dates. This way only people will end up playing who got time without planning ahead and many teams will play with worse rosters due to availability. But I’m pretty sure this has been said quite a few times already. But idk whether i should be thankful for wg being bad and them making sure to slowly get me more out of the game which i loved to play or if i should be sad about them wasting so much potential on a game

I think fixed rosters is a way to combat people ditching their teams, account sharing, and stat padding accounts that have like 1 tank at 100% winrate. Teams will be less motivated to waste a slot for that hopefully

This would be good reason to have fixed rosters, due to these advantages that it provides, but it would only be good if WG releases the tournament schedule ahead of time, with enough time for players to make adjustments to their personal schedules (work, outings, etc) so that they will not be wasting the slot. Today's 3v3 VII-VIII #7 tournament on July 7 is the exact same problem. Again stuck and not allowed into the tournament room. We are not able to search for enemies to begin battle.

Basically, I have been dealing with this three times in the past week. Our team missed two tournaments because of not being allowed into tournament. And today is about to become the third time in the space of a week that we cannot enter tournament room and start battle.

I wouldn't be wasting my time here asking for help three times in a row if things are normal. Cause I'd be battling right now and having fun in the game.

Yes, wargaming has said they consider it permissible to have Ukrainian players on EU server. It is not a violation.

Also, the reasons I think 140 could be in the discussion are because it has enough hp to withstand 2 batchat clips, and none of the lights do, and now with T100 dpm nerf, the 140 should dominate the T100 in a light/med engagement. It still has very impressive camo for a med and the top speed buff will help it try and keep up with those lights. However, T100 will obviously still have a place because it is getting faster, and it’s the camo, speed, and turret armor that make the tank good. Tracer shells and dpm were just icing on the cake, so losing dpm won’t take it out of meta completely.

Regardless of what ends up being meta, we can all accept that there’s a lot of cool possibilities rather than the entire meta being centered around 3-4 tanks.

On the 3rd day, instead of only the top8 teams, the top16 too teams should have gone to the final, I think. Because the prizes for top16 teams seem to be missing, because tournament players usually want to participate in the tournament for camouflage and avatars. Do u think a system like season coins could be implemented to comp? In addition to the cosmetics, u could earn currency that u can use to purchase special bundles in the store. The price tag of bundles could be steep, doesnt matter. But I think that would encourage more teams to participate in comp. That might be a better reward than credits

Heck maybe even adding season coins as rewards in comp, so losers won’t feel like it was a waste of time.

The reason why pc isn’t allowed in high end tournaments is because it no longer becomes a fair playing field. Mobile vs mobile is obviously even. Yes some devices are better than others but the control mode remains the same. Pc has clear differences and advantages which is not fair against mobile players. That does not work when real world money is in the prize pool
