I’d bet money it only flags if you play a game in Canada and then the next day you’re in Japan, and the day after that playing in India within 32 hours of first battle, that’s probably when it flags

I don’t think banning just a one or two tanks is rly the solution… banning all prems is prob not possible cos we already have lot of them and it would be like -20 tanks. Which I don’t rly know if that would be a problem.
Main thing is that who is gonna decide if tank gets banned or not? Mby Type 3 heavy should get also banned? Game is definitely not balanced based on CW. Which makes this complicated but understandable. For me there is no ideal solution. We already had this before with other tanks.

There’s more to tournaments than professional ones
Most players rn are quick tournaments players who don’t really care al that much and they’re just having fun, I don’t even see why would we implement a vote to ban system to the quick tournaments even, it should be targeted more towards tournaments that are professional.

If the tank has been pre-existing for some time then I think that’s not as big as a concern.

I at least want to discourage the act of having the meta instantly shift around a new collector/tech tree tank, or tank that’s conveniently in store/crates right after it received some buffs.

And then hopefully by then WG will have noticed that they overcooked their tank even though it should be obvious if they actually followed testing feedback…

Either way it’s up to WG to add anything that can solve the problem to any extent, but alas

I think a decent idea could be adding a Live Ban pick, give an extra 2 minutes before the set so each team pick 2 tanks to ban for the whole set, will spice things up a bit more, will also allow teams that don’t have the “overpowered” and expensive collectors to ban those specifically so the disparity on teams that have and don’t have the money to buy them completely disappear

Yes and no, speaking in terms of mechanics, this will make meta way more diverse since ban pick ups will only be focused in 1-2 tanks and the other 2 bans can be preference on the teams play style, and will make overall games more diverse since you can guess the first ban but not the second ban, lets say on the first ban , A team bans 116, B team band Felice, now the 3rd ban can be to ban a tank that makes it easier for certain strats or styles you have planned, in case you want to play for lockdown, and it’s mostly city sides, you ban (example) type 5 and the B team bans Super conqueror, the possibilities of way different styles are insane and this can make certain tanks to resurface and overall making ban picks will be extremely tactical and will be full of mind games between the teams since they have to be extremely careful with their ban choices

Banning collectors will never work, the problem are not the tanks, but who balances them. The quickest fix to this is just making the felice a balanced but fun tank. Theres a very similar version of this tank in tier VIII, the M-IV-Yoh.
All that needs to be done is nerf the turret armour, nerf the side armour and give it an autoloader instead of an auto-reloader similar to the M-IV-Yoh. And to make up a little for these nerfs make it go 35 or 38.

The other way and the most beneficial way of fixing this is implementing a ban system which would probably benefit the game in the long run. Theres multiple suggestions in this chat that meet up to a very good criteria.

GFT was dumb but fun to play and somewhat comfortable.

STRV was paywalled but fun to play and I would pretty skill based.

Type was dumb but fun to play and also pretty skill intensive to master the tank.

M4/Sconq/E50/FV was pretty diverse all things considered.

60TP prime is probs last meta that was as gross as what we have currently.

Playing isn’t enough though. “We” have been playing since 2014. Tournaments officially since 2016. Offlines in 2016, 17, 18, 19. Players have done their part from a playing perspective.

What has never happened is wg capturing and building an audience for viewership. The rewards aren’t incentive enough so few watch. Few people watching means companies don’t have as much interest in sponsorship. Less sponsorship means less prize money. The players feel defeated and eventually burn out. This compounds as it takes 25-50 new players to create one player capable of playing top 8 or top 4 so the competitive teams dwindle. This kills competition more and the overall product gets worse because of it

@opaque heart the AI in the support centre is not helping whatsoever with clarifying the rules regarding the leader comp final, I participated in more than 10 battles during the days of the top8 finals which as per the regulations mentioned in game means I am eligible for rewards, however I haven't rreceivedany rewards, this may be due to me not playing 10 games in the qualifying tournaments but thats not whats clarified in game. I am happy to provide screenshots or whatever is necessary, however ive tried explaining the situation in the support centre and the converstation is going in circles.

The in game description of the previous leadercomp tournament states "for receiving individual rewards is to participate in at least 10 battles as part of the winning clan team." Not 10 battles in the qualifier tournaments as per the description on the website. Because of this I have also not received any rewards even though I was present for all 24 top 8 games my team fought. 🤷‍♂️

That was December, and on the calender for that month says it would be on Wednesday. So yes it was on the 31st but now it will be on Sundays for January
