Would you say Lost Temple and Mirage are any better? At least on Malinovka, you have room and varied terrain to work with. If anything, I believe those 2 are less suitable for tier 10 QT gameplay than Malinovka is for the exact reasons he mentioned above.

I've been meaning to ask, how do you think WG can hold an acceptable Twister Offlines given the current geopolitical landscape?

I mean like a Twister offlines where people go "ya, it's perfect" instead of "we don't talk about Twister 202X"

I agree it would be difficult given the world state of affairs, but hosting it in western Europe or even the US would be plausible… most likely it comes down to money and WG is not so easily willing to part with it. All we can do is ask and hope Tolyan can lobby on our behalf to make it happen 😄

Typically, how many teams are there that plays a season in EU?

Like on APAC, it starts at 40+ and by then end of the qualifiers it's less than 30.

What about NA as well?

EU starting around with 130teams+ since two years and fell of by time to 100teams+-

Autumn 22 & Winter 23, after RU server included into EU server, we were even full and you had to sometimes hurry up with registration.

Since then, the skill level has also risen continuously and you had to become more and more creative. Also, many EU had to learn the new lvl of speed in battles

I understand your point, if you are not available on some periods, knowing the date soon or late will technically not change anything because obviously almost no one will cancel their trips or plans just for a PYS. So beside the 'pyschological' aspect it doesnt change anything for the player, but it changes a lot for the team overall. if you have the infos early enough, you can organize as a team by knowing how many players you are missing on the different PYS etc (which is harder to do if you have the dates very late, and even more on vacation periods such as august)

I play pc and touch. I feel more comfortable playing on PC but usually play better statswise on touch. Noone knows why . I don't know why. My aim is faster and better on pc. In tournaments the control mode makes no significant difference.
I think it's good when PC players are allowed to play tournaments. There is no valid reason why someone would want to exclude them.

You have better stats on touch because the matchmaking when you play on touch and have "mixte controle mode" off is easier
and also the auto aim on touch is realistically really really strong. You literally aim for a weak spots and it stays locked on it.
Pc aim is only an advantage for distance or for brawls when you have to shoot a tank behind another tank (you have to manually turn the auto aim off on touch which is annoying). But of course the experience remains better on pc because its more comfortable, you have a big ahh screen and no fingers on it

@rare bluff nah I am not going to split my SSD again into Windows and Mac OS. I had to do that for school and it sucked. Also seems a bit silly to pay for a Windows key, virtual machine and Steam game to fix one thing.

the rewards management overall is really poor on wotb, with rare items losing value and meaning over time (like the purple pro camo that was accessible for t4 only and now t8 for example) or items that were available only in the past being released again (such as old pro avatar). Or even in the other way, some items such as orange pro camo seem to be harder to get now than in the past for some reason.

so i know it has been like that since a long time but i hope reforged update will bring a new clean system with unique rewards for each major season at least. Regular wotb players get to see dozens of new nice, animated camos and avatars in all events and pass each month so i dont understand why is it so hard to create some new camos/avatars for cw seasons where +100k $ are being invested

Regulations (on na) say that all top 8 spots are decided through the leaderboard. However they also say in the rewards that the top team in each group in stage 2 for pys1 moves on?

Im thinking that the rewards are incorrect, as the top team in stage 2 moving on would result in 8 teams getting an invitation to the pros in pys1. Would be nice to have some clarification though.

so they just take the wr in t10 of the 7 best accs in the team

if a player has less than 2500 regular battles in t10, he has a pretty huge wr penalty for the missing games. For example if the player has 78% wr in t10 but only 1500 games, then he will have like 70%. But i dont remember the exact numbers
