Yeah, a good example would be the old champions league format
Groups passed off the pot seeding and sometimes a team like Barcelona/Madrid would be 2nd and pot 2 and would have a team of pot 1 calibre (probably a European giant) and maybe even a good premier league pot 3 team (since it’s one of best leagues for title races)

Exclusive tanks are a cool idea - but if you mean the Obj. 590 that’s currently the reward then no, sorry but I would bet at least 80% of the people who will get it this time will sell it within a week…

But if that meant you would consider using these tournaments for some tournament exclusive reward tank - yeah, I could see that making people play 8 weeks. Those camos might have the same effect, and definitely attract more people than a tier 8 collector tank

It should be more "battle royale" imo, teams that register to chance qualifier should only be the ones who qualified to day 3 (1st and 2nd of day 2) on first qualifier, however i dont really apply this rule to this tournament just because the groups were pretty bad in terms of skill level, coming from someone who got a lucky group it feels disgusting to have blove and other good teams knocked out on 2nd day. But its situations like this that prove that more prove your skills/qualifiers with cup system, even tho time consuming, are one of the most skill based formats. I still believe cup based system with 6 prove your skills and 3 days is the best format :)

Ah ok awesome. If there is a repeat of this format going forward, would there be a consideration to flip the bracket opponents in lower bracket? This would look something like the loser 1 from the top bracket plays loser 2 from the lower bracket, and loser 2 from top bracket plays loser 1 from lower bracket. This would create more varied matchups and mean that the initial seeding doesn’t entirely determine how the brackets play out for the rest of the tournament. A lot of major esports all do this when their tournaments are formatted in a double elimination bracket like this
