I hear more complaints about reactive aimed at a lack of wanting to balance tanks. Instead of taking the time to make sure a tank is properly balanced and has a place in comp or pubs, just slap reactive, speed, or tungsten and make it “balanced.” Comp just ends up being a boring cycle of he who has the most tanks with the good consumables wins/has a better advantage. Less skill is involved when all you need is the coordination to push and press a button to take less damage. The fun of getting good is knowing a tank and how to play to its strengths, instead you can just equip a decent tank with an op consumable and get better results than in tanks that don’t. These consumables aren’t like the standard speed boost and adrenaline that are available on nearly every tank, they are exclusive to certain vehicles. It takes away from a “skill” based game when you can bypass some of the skill needed by pressing a button.

This isn’t denying that top teams are skilled, but it does take away from how good they actually are when they stand at a disadvantage by not using the tanks with the OP consumables. It should be the case where most if not all the t10s were comp viable, not just the ones that won the lottery to get reactive. It’s not fun when you are basically told what tanks are comp or not by the consumables they get.

1.Making all tier 10s comp viable is IMPOSSIBLE because it would ruin randoms
Many tanks are unique and and some of them are greta in randoms but terrible in tours
Many tanks strenghts show in randoms but cant show in tours
For example many medium and heaviums like strvk or e6 can use its huge dpm i nrandoms and are enjoyable tanks
...
but in comp their lack of pen will make em worse vs armroed tanks

2.U SUGGESTING making ALL COM PTANKS or ALMOST ALL viable would ruin game balance

Mediums would all need to have op turrets,all heavies would need same consumables or ammount of armor or pen

Yea, cuz the moment you see 3 113Gs on the enemy side, it's almost an immediate loss, cuz the damn things can take more damage than a Maus, while maintaining speed and doing more damage back. just my recomendation.

I think WG should put some sort of tutorial notes (perhaps with images) during the que loading screen. Just like some other games out there. This is to help educate new player and improve game experience. We all hate looking at the pointless que loading screen for 3 minutes straight especially when u are in platoon.

Playing on pc is almost strictly better than playing on mobile mechanics wise. You can aim in more shots properly. It’s easier to micro manage small movements with a keyboard.

We’ve been down this conversation multiple times in the past. Blitz is first and foremost a mobile game and that’s why competitive tournaments are mobile only as it would defeat the point letting pc players have access. If you want to play pc comp you can play regular WoT.

Yes. I agree with all that, BUT if the demand is too big, then wargaming would change it, that is how business goes. So I’d say there is some idea of PC comp at the hands of the customers too, like if more than 60% of the players in wotb said pc comp, prob would happen. Then we get in to the balancing of both play styles, both have ups and downs with one obvious one being PC auto aim is horrible against mobile auto aim. PC is more flexible and can have more options with all those button under your fingers, however mobile settings are simple which gives the reason why some mobile players are great, your scope button is right next to your finger which you use to aim, this allows a fast reaction response from the mobile players, in MY conclusion, PC and Mobile have great potential and both can be great based on who and how the player uses the play styles to their advantage. In the end it comes down to skill and practice.

Honestly real, still can’t believe after what ten years we still don’t have the camera centered after un scoping out of sniper mode and having accurate third person shots, or random hit boxes on some parts of the maps that don’t exist( winter mal, yes there are still invisible walls even after wg “fixed it”) my favorite is this new one where a part of my screen was cut off during the middle of the season on my iPad and I had to learn and switch new controls (it’s been like almost 4 months now?)

Erm. Achievements are based on the quality of competition in each server for wotb. There’s far more elite clans in eu than in na for example. At the very top end of NA, you have like 2-3 truly elite teams and the expectation is top 4 at minimum. To them, it’s championship or bust. To others, there’s different standards depending on what level they’re normally at

In my opinion as of right now there is maybe 1-2 teams on na that if we wg were to host another twister that might have a chance at repeating what RGN did in 2019.
I do agree depending on your level of expectation no matter how high getting to top 4 as a minimum is, it is that teams prerogative if they want to just reach that level than sure but, to me that’s not a worthy goal because

1. You make less money,
2. You get less rewards
3. If people were to consider track records and accomplishments that one achieves for example origin and jkr, anything less than grand finals respectfully to those who have reached this goal recently isn’t notably a grand achievement.
   I’m not downplaying the teams success, they rightfully earned the spots they got through working harder and playing better. But I think if we were to really gauge the last “competitive top 4” and what was a respectable competition and performance from teams I think it’s only fair if we look before and during 2021. My reasons for this are, you still had the last of the PRAMO team playing that year along with RGN, whom both teams always have been fierce and talented regardless if you were for RGN or PRAMO you couldn’t deny the successes they achieved in the past.
   Which is why I do agree that top 4s in Na aren’t as competitive as other servers because you still have two teams who no matter what will meet in the grand finals,
   so this is why I put a timeline of 21-22 because you still had some of the players who were still hungry and grinding for the twister cups still hanging around and competing for the server wins, now since that incentive is gone it seems those competitive players and teams have since dissolved and we get the “new generation” of comp players to fill the void naturally like any other competition in any esport or regular sport.

i think the last time it wasn't a two horse race was Twister 2018. 3 PRAMO teams, 3 PURPL teams, and 2 PNCR teams made top 8. a further 3 teams from Void signed up but had a horrendous night and ended up locked out of the season entirely as a clan, but they weren't fodder at all (in fact they were good enough to win one season later and convince PRAMO to merge with them for Twister 19). thats 4 clans with multiple teams (ironically every single one of them traced back to KRIEG in some way)

it wasn't two horse even up to the grand final. PNCR's 2nd team actually overtook their 1st team midseason and their clan lead kicked them off discord mid-match when they played each other for the grand final spot against PRAMO

its possible for teams to underperform and finish 3rd in a two horse race. because if the team that upset them was really that good, where were they next season? what has SLG done since?

bad performance doesn't always mean they were actually the worse team between the two. in Spring 2019 RGN swept every game until the grand final, had a horrendous night, and lost 1-5 to Void. still picked up 3 of their members for Twister because even they knew it was a one off.

the alternative is that you got teams getting to champion level within one season, which i find even less likely. its called a two horse race because for many seasons before that, its come down to those two and a one season upset doesn't change that

RGN overperformed their actual form in top 4. both our callers dipped mid season. for obvious reasons we didn't telegraph that to the entire world, but how competitive do you think JKR would be if Assassin and his next in line just vanished into thin air?

I think atomic meant Purpl, LVG wasn’t a thing till next season where they won the first season they formed and so on, after half that purpl team left to form a new team with another half of other players. But it’s all subjective that first season lvg won the only team to beat them was -MM you could argue -MM was a top 4 team if it wasn’t for brackets and who knows who MM could’ve upset. But realistically like you’ve stated it’s pretty much a 2 way race unless a new team forms. Like an LVG or an Origin with a mix of players to freshen things up, not just an addition or 2.

both have valid points depending on how you look at it. But consistently and yearly it’s pretty much a 2 way race, it’s always been. There’s maybe 1 off, season of an upset happening with a team once in a while within the top 4. Since I started tournaments in 2020, It’s pretty much been a 2 way race for the chip, most if not all the time yearly. A 3 way being the max a couple seasons. On the other hand, EU is a consistent fight to get into the top 4, including competiton there among the 4. As you can see last season their 3x consecutive champ didn’t even make top 4. A past server champion didn’t even make top 8.

yea the pncr teams had an agreement before our fight for 3rd place set to play it out and whoever won moved on. its just unfortunate that our clan leader was biased towards my team and decided to screw over the other pncr team mid set by disconnecting/banning their players from discord server/vc which for obv rzns made my team get the edge and win the set from being down 1-3 or something close to that

the catch to that is wg has to make money to fund the season prizes, pay employees to fix bug and new content, pay for marketing, pay taxes, pay for servers/data center, ticket staff, office space. considering the game is free to download they have to have you purchase items to fund the upkeep of the game. its a common model for free game. there are ways to get prem,new tanks, camos, prem from example comp tournaments, if your skilled you can pull it off. id rather it get funded this way instead of like you pay a monthly fee just to play. knowing the in and outs of all game mechanics, map positions, spotting, and team play. makes you better than anyone who could buy the tank. at the end of the day it comes down to more of how well can you use those skills over your enemy team.
