Honestly I wouldn't even hate it but NA is too small of a server to have 10 groups of 4 teams if you're gonna seed by wr than u need to adjust the group sizes based on server

PYS 1 Day 1 we get JKR as a team on par with EVONY (ELEV) and PONDA
PYS 1 Day 2 we get Origin and PONDA
PYS 2 Day 1 we get EVONY
Like I get we have lowish wr but the fact that there's 3-4 top 16 level teams in top 8 rn over PONDA and us is kinda crazy

Comp is mostly based on ammoracks now. End-game brawls are not dependent on skill and experience as much as before. The RNG factor is too much. Don’t blame the Chinabox, 60TP, or VK72. It’s the equipment changes. It’s making people dislike a TD meta. Ammoracks aren’t even cool now or a miracle in comp as they are too common.

There’s a workaround to people abusing rerolls to farm win rate for tournament seeding. WG can rework Rating Battles so that your rating actually reflects your skill level and then they can do seeding based on average rank in ratings. Many of the players at the top of the ratings ladder play thousands of battles with abysmal (40/50%~) win rates when there are players around their rank with fewer battles and higher win rates. Those rating battle spammers don’t deserved their rank and they’re the same people who take hundreds of battles to climb to Diamond League. It’s strange to see players with 40% career win rates playing in the Diamond League as if they actually belong there. Considering the size of the NA server, there should at max be 50 people in that league. Also, make it tier 10 only and don’t add the platooning feature which was polled recently.

my suggestion for seeding would be somewhat similar to ratings - ELO, but based on the combined comp record of individuals within each team

• each individual has their own ELO that is only influenced by wins/losses in tournament seasons
• winning team: +N points to each team member // losing team: -N points
• when teams are seeded, their seeding is based off the average ELO of the team members
• ELO persists between seasons (could be limited to the last X seasons to avoid hoarding)

an individual based ELO would be able to account for players that move around between teams, which is frequent on NA at least. so i somewhat see the merit of Ix's idea, but ELO should use season tournaments as the determining mode - ratings is not a good approach

Or we revamp the entire game, adopt r6/valorant ranks, and everyone starts at bronze and work their way up to top 500. Ranked mode would be separate from unrated mode(regular matches), but ranked will be the only stats displayed on career profile.

That’s the only way to make a game where sweating/casual play borders are clearly defined and the playerbase can determine how they want to play.

Also make actual punishments for people rigging or trolling in ranked, like valorant does. I believe in the 3rd AFK offense they would be banned for 72 hrs, and chatbans are even worse (I am currently banned for 9 months for inappropriate communications on valorant)

Hey, I think the issue might have specifically happened to some of the clusters - our CiS enemy team only had one disconnected player, whereas we had 5. Other team I asked, from mostly western Europe (clan MACH-), also had 5 players disconnected

Whatever happened must have been on behalf of WG though, as it happened to too many players in too many different teams, on too many different devices/in different locations for it to be a coincidence
