That's a 4th-dimensional strat that I'm sure you forgot to consider. (I am still advocating for rule change. It’s mainly for the other teams. Top 16 really gets the short end of the stick when there are a lot of “teams” that register for the sole purpose of filling up the brackets. So they won’t have to contend with facing a harder team. Creating “ghost teams” to get easier brackets only works if the actual registered team has a high win-rate. With the “ghost teams” having a average or below average win-rate. I recommend to limit the amount of teams that each clan can field to be 1. Meaning you will only see 1 team per clan. Also to raise the required number of battles in tier 10 to be above 7,500 battles minimum. This does have its own set of downsides such as discouraging new player to start playing competitive. This is only a stop gap fix because if a team really wants to get an advantage they will find a way.

the most interesting part of this entire thing is the amount of effort people actually put into getting a clan avatar. there was no shortage of people that put their entire lives on hold and did absolutely nothing else but spam blitz and sleep for the last 2 weeks, some even to levels noticeably detrimental to physical health. there were multiple clan leads offering monetary incentives for their employees to play more, while some others preferred more draconian methods with daily win quotas. certain clans had their most active players permabanned by Wargaming as the result of dishonest behavior in battles. i believe someone even broke up with their girlfriend just because of this event.

it's pretty impressive, but also downright shocking at the same time. i say that as someone that did enough to win 4 straight years with multiple offlines, twister cups, and 50k prize pools on the line. the last 2 weeks makes me, all my teammates, and even all of our competition look like we were chilling.

if this level of dedication is continued, this fall season could be the best one ever. a clan avatar by getting top 4 should be light work by any clan that placed top 3 in the last 2 weeks, regardless of where they are right now

there has to be either another factor in play thats making wg unable to pay us yet or they are simply neglecting to pay us, idk where wg scrapes together the prize pool to award players but if they set a time arrival date they need to follow up on it or at least update us on anything if theres a holdup, its been over a month since blitz cup ended at least for NA

Secondly, we waited for an agreement from the players.

Thirdly, the prize money should arrive this week.
