Is it possible for Wargaming to look into a system where these tournament teams get less rewards: that wait until everybody else has gone and there's one team left in the brackets, join, be toxic to get on our nerves (and win), and automatically get the tour 5 prize, even though they only played one battle?

This happens waaaaaay too often, and it's a little more than "just frustrating". You can tell me to "cope" all u want. It's still not fair. We sweat our butts off for 30 min, yet these people walk in and "win" and be toxic and stuff.
It's not the fact that they're winning. It's the fact that we did all of the work for them and they get full prize.

Well I guess my complaint is people getting bumped up all 5 tours just to skip actually playing. I guess it's fair, sort of. . . but it don't feel right. . .
If the game rewards you based on how many tours COMPLETED, MINUS bump ups, I'd find that fair.

If bump ups happen way too often, then reduce the amount of tours you can be bumped up. let's say you can only be bumped up 2 tours at a time. not 5.

Correction, the tournament we are in is winding down. There's not a lot of teams left in que. We get to tour 4. There are zero teams. We decided to wait. We waited 26 min. Then a team pops in. It's full of eSports and sweaters. IN BATTLE, they admitted that they waited until there was one team left so they'd just skip 4 tours. (In other words, they're lazy.) They beat us, which isn't the problem. I am asking: why do they get the full reward when we did all the work to get to tour 4, and they swoop in and skip it all? If this is acceptable to WG, then me and my team are gonna start doing it. We're gonna wait until there's one team left, swoop in, and hopefully we don't have to work too hard.

Don't ask for my team skill level. Don't ask what tier we played. That DONT MATTER. Get that through your head.

It's not our fault that you're not reading what you need to do to get the role, which just makes it more work and take longer for all of us.

I’m not sure if this would help but you could put on the instructions the screenshots they must provide in order to be verified, so that way they send you everything at once and if it is correct you can just quickly look it over and give the role? Not sure if this is better just an idea

Screenshots don't cut it because it's too easy to pretend to be someone you're not - so we have to in game verify

My annoyance in this case is mostly people dm'ing three or more of us at a time, making us switch servers, or re-type instructions they've not followed, only to find they've also messaged someone else and had them do it all too
