But the team that won entered the tournament breaking the rules, so every team they played deserves to be compensated since they had to play against a team that broke the rules and ruined the spirit of fairness in the competition. You’re missing the point, they’re not upset they lost, they’re upset that the team they happened to lose to was even allowed into the competition.

i can probably write a script to choose maps without repeating, in about 20 minutes. the value added by this small change would be great for players and viewers alike

The maus is not an easy tank to play especially in tournaments. It requires quick and decisive reactions since it’s not fast enough to adjust for any misplays in positioning. In addition to that, it requires extreme patience since the tank is quite susceptible to early game bleeding against the quality players found in comp since the tank can’t sit hull down and attempt to hold a firing line with impunity like most meta heavy tanks can. In a brawl it becomes easier but that’s only half the battle.

it's only a challenge on big maps, on smaller maps you can just send a maus down the middle part of the map and he'll be in reach of any side of the map you want to do something on, it just has a small area of effect but is very usefull if full hp upon making a move

Does anyone know what is stopping the WG from introducing the league system in seasons? With the current number of teams in the EU, there could be even 5 leagues of 8-10 teams each.
Half of the season is occupied by qualifying in which the outcome of most battles is known in advance. We are after 3 qualifying tournaments, and the first 6 teams have a full set of wins, because they do not match each other and they easily win with the weaker ones. The first 2 days are a complete joke and a waste of time.
A system in which a clan is assigned to a league and 2 are relegated and 2 are promoted would be more interesting to watch and play and fairer, WR would cease to matter. Once again, teams that play well but with poor seeding such as -W1N- are disadvantaged.

It’s both however tbf. In order to increase sponsorship you need to generate a lot of interest especially viewing figures. That means you need to try appeal to more than just the top teams tbf. However, if there was a way to take the current ‘Echelons’ and make those provisional leagues then base initial seeding on that, maybe that could be a start? That obviously means clans not list past Top 32 become ‘unseeded’ so to speak but have the same chance to progress. You can then use that for each major tour season & possibly add other tours, like season coin or such to the mix.

I think you will find that WG is happy to consider reasonable suggestions, as long as they do not restrict growth, are not intended to be exclusive, grants an opportunity for anyone to participate and can be rolled out across all servers. However, it’s needs to be Co-ordinated and not suggestions thrown at them from all different directions. I know there are many interested parties in this so maybe if we could Co-ordinate maybe that would help?

In my opinion the seeding we had, i mean the format, in spring season with 1k battle was ok. I believe that the issue is the fact that if you want achieve better positions you need a better wr, that's why ppl spam rerolls and outplay better teams but whith less wr. That's like a reference to what's going on right now with VE1L, W1N, LGN and othet team like IMM0R (all because u need a bad day and you basically throw the whole effort you have put for months in training etc).
Talking about the past we had SPRTA and again VE1L again.
So i believe a good solutions is take that format as main one and work on that by increasing the number of battles required at tier 10 in order to make kinda useless the bost that rerolls give (as someone else suggested). The more teams, the greater the exposure the more likely to have additional resources thrown at it. We now only have 3 servers, so maybe just maybe following this tour valid & reasonable suggestions can be explored. There will never be a perfect system, there will always be loopholes & naysayers but no doubt something beneficial & achievable can be found.

About a league tournament, maybe the teams pay to participate and in the end wg gives the money back * or more depends the rewards. Maybe there are less chance the teams disband.

This system has never been good, it just shows more clearly now. Already 2 or 3 years ago, logos would have been a better option. It's just that WG doesn't listen to players and instead of making sensible changes to the system, he prefers to add a new Premium tank or an avatar, because it's easier.

In fairness we (VE1L) dropped the ball against POG, our fault there. However, whilst we languish down in the mid 20’s fact is if those teams from top 7 down have a bad PYS we can, in theory, still rise. Yes it means we must win every game & yes we also require others to totally blow it, but there is a chance (slim I admit)

it's not the system's fault, it's the seedings fault, like it has pretty much always been since 2018, just make a failless seeding and then the system will work as intended and even be improved over time since no flaws in the qualification stage will occure

i mean we used to be #10-#15 winrate team previous seasons, since then we spend months improving our winrate for this one season, and bcs of the merge we're like #24 even tho we grinded like 1-2%, it clearly is due to the merge, a lot of average teams with a massive winrate are registering, and every time we're sweating and praying we wont get any of the big teams on the 3rd day because of that

For my team if we want to get top 8 we need to be best team in server because seeding give us these top 4 teams in every semifinals but its fine, we are not top 1 yet. We keep training to next seasons hopefully we get challengers even now😅
