The current meta is pretty interesting. Perhaps nerf the top speed of the Type more. Perhaps to 35km/h. Buff the IS7’s top speed to its former top speed. IS7 replaces Type is some scenarios.

I feel that the TVP, FV4005, and T57 shouldn’t be nerfed. They aren’t even used much this season (not spammed). They are pretty fine as they are as people sort of know how to deal with them.

Assault TDs getting more HP is a step in the right direction. We just need more HP for the more assault TDs now to bring TDs in meta. Badger in comp in certain positions is really noice.

Tank banning isn’t like an all out ban. It’s a ban for just 1 game. Not all games. It really depends on the system. If it’s a good system, it would make games very entertaining. Say ban of any 3 tanks for 1 match anonymously and simultaneously. Teams may use up their Type bans in the first match. This would allow them to use Types in other matches in say a BO5 or Bo7.

Banning tanks is just as lazy of a way to balance the game/meta as it is to give tanks super consumables because they’re underperforming. It’s up to the dev team to create balance and when it’s not done well enough you get the type spam, previously 60tp spam, before that is4 spam, is7 spam, m60 spam and 140 spam (all of which are metas I remember)

Also to our fellow player not enjoying ghost factory, let me share some top 32 advice (from a top 32 Titan himself 😂): control factory= win. You don’t have to be in the factory but if the enemy takes the factory and you don’t have crossfire or some response to it, it’s gonna be a tough game. Also I recommend not sending multiple heavies to A in most circumstances because D (or the factory) is just so much more flexible. A is hard to play out of in my experience 🤷‍♂️

Tank banning is fun. It’s not a fixed, permanent feature. More like a fun tournament system that is not the main existing tournament system. It really depends on the system. Systems like only an anonymous 1 to 2 bans per tank per Bo3/Bo5 is really exciting! E.g. Bo5; Team A bans Type and Team B bans Type simultaneously
Both teams used up their 1st advantage.
Therefore, teams can only ban the Type once in a Bo3 and twice in a Bo5 and Bo7.

Of course, the E5 still needs its old DPM back! The Type’s mobility may need to be further nerfed. I see most Ht tanks in comp now. Only HT tanks missing are some heaviums and the E5. Every LT is used in comp. Not every MT yet. TDs need further HP buffs to make them more relevant. FV4005, Jg, E4, WZ, and 263 are on the verge of being used.

IS7 can replace Type in some roles if Type's top speed is nerfed further to 35km/h. Assault TDs with more HP, in general, may outperform HTs in holding positions (Badger, E3, Obj268 V4, and Jg). We are so close to one of the closest balanced meta in tier 10. The current meta since 9.0 is a massive improvement compared to many different metas in the past.

In October of this year, WoT Blitz will no longer appear in Russian and Belarussian app stores. This means that in order to continue playing the game with WG, they will need to swap their app store to a different country. However if they attempt to participate in tournaments, they will be considered foreign legionnaires and can only have 2 per team on another server’s competitive team.

What will be encouraged of them is to instead switch to “Tanks Blitz”, a new app run by Lesta Studios that will save their account progress and essentially be the same game, except in a China-like region.

Players from current CIS countries that aren’t Russia and Belarus (like Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, etc) will be able to join the EU server as previously stated, with an account transfer. Those new countries will be considered EU countries, so players from the former CIS countries will not be limited to 2 members of a competitive team in EU

Like even FV301 isnt particularly worth sacrificing a heavy for. More intricate metas may exist, especially on certain maps but the benefits of them over just 252/choice faster heavy aren’t going to be that big

The top 10 moments and stuff would be quite useless but it would be nice seeing the top 3 teams each season including igns going back to 2016 twister listed down somewhere. Can see who’s still dominating and who fell off.
Technically if you can find the tournament in game u can find the teams and igns but it takes ages and the point of a hall of fame is to preserve history right? If it gets wiped after each season then it’s just a leaderboard

What would you say, if there should be at least one tank of each tank type in the team? This will force teams to take at least one td, one fast tank and one heavy in team. We might then see little different matches in tournaments than Type71 brawls.

Well. Here’s where promotion of comp as a way to promote the game may come in. What other mobile game has a comp scene that’s so creative that going out of the designed playable area as a strategy is allowed? Games are really close and exciting as long as they are great commentators. The only thing close to the RA1D’s Grille and the recent Concept boost in another game that I can think of on the top of my mind is the 1 pixel sniping position boost by a European team in CS-Go.

Hall of Fame is for all to see and desired to be on as along as there is adequate promotion.

What about Hall of Fame and team specific/new pro camo? Why can’t we get both? We need jerseys and HOF. Finding out how to get that sweet camo would be typing that player’s IGN or the camo’s name into Google. This leads to HOF website and other comp specific stuff. Like reward for camo is Top 4 Twister Cup teams. Then, we see the IGNs and teams on the HOF. It’s sweet to see your name on a website forever or engraved on cup for a long time.

The argument is the pecking order. We can have both. They compliment each other.

ok, i have been playing the game for about 2 years now. When i started their were 4ish 7's tourneys a week ( Sunday, Monday,Thursday,Friday if i remember ).... The WChampionships etc is all 7's. So why 2 years later is there One 7's tourney every week... I understand that clans may struggle to get a 7's together but all these 2v2 and 3v3 doenst help anyone progress in their clan teams.....and yes i know their are training rooms which we do run against another clan but its no way the same. It cant be a server issue.... so why isnt there a tourney every night... 4 7's and the other nights 2v2 or 3v3.... The game is slowly dieing because your not bringing the clan members together more like fragmenting them.....

1v1 is an incredibly dull format IMO. Even 2v2 can be a but stale.

I think majority should be 7v7 with some 3v3 / 5v5 to mix it up.

These smaller tournament formats are not helpful for creating full comp teams, clans and working player dynamics. And. In the same way 7v7 in wot pc wasn't so great as people were watching from a 15v15 regular battle perspective, smaller player count tournament formats in Blitz as a regular fixture are also counter intuitive.

That's before we get into the inherent balance issues where EVERY SINGLE MAP AND VEHICLE in the game, has been balanced around the 7v7 format.

This is correct. -BPS- have sponsors. IIRC, RA1D had sponsors for the 2018 season. Top CIS teams have also had sponsors in the past. The strumbling block is WG's policy with regards to showing team sponsor logos / names in tournaments (online but more so offline) because they only allow official sponsors from their end to be advertised. Presumably they sign(ed) their sponsors with exclusivity deals (?)
