Who’s… that? Sorry Lol, most hate for maps comes from the Inability to understand them well, which is why I don’t like Quite a few maps, and it’s down to my lackluster knowledge of the map
I don’t trust Blitzstar’s Comments I.e Very good, Unicum etc. as I feel they’re over bloated. Wayyy too easy to be a “very good player” simply by playing the game averagely
My blitz stars Says I’m super unicum but I don’t think I deserve such a title as I’ve seen many players that are a lot better than me, and shouldn’t super unicum be reserved only for the most elite?
You played 187 matches in it averaging 1,187 ish damage, which is roughly 6 penetrating shots per game which considering it’s quick reload, is average, But That’s enough of this discussion else we’ll be going in circles. If you feel the need to pick at my stats then feel free to look at them at blitzstars, although I will admit I’m not good with the Bretagne panther

Both of those maps are being “indefinitely reworked”
I think they will bring back lost temple since there was a poll a while ago to vote which map should be in high tier, and the majority voted lost temple
They removed Mirage & Lost Temple in 7.9 to work on them, supposedly to make them viable for high tier battles and such.

So why would it be taking them this long to work on two maps (I know that they’re working on the other features like redesigned UI and the balance changes to lower and higher tiers and the 60TP line but still)

wish every map had different seasons.. like summer himmelsdorf, or winter new bay, would make maps less bland and repetitive yet still being the the same besides colors and camo
Well, it's called very good for a reason. I suppose that how the WN8 is called as "bad" or super unicum" based in how rare it is when compared to other players. But in an overall, "I just don't considere" isn't factual at all.
Luckily I didn't only say WR, and you know it. 1600 average damage in 90 days considering that I played also with very low tiers... I'm not surprised.
If the TDs are going to stop them in theory, let's imagine a hypothetical scenario
Both teams have this exact types of players; 2 heavies, 2 mediums, 2 TDs and 1 light (values which can be changed, but for the argument's sake let's do like this).
Imagining that none of the heavies in your team went to the windmill but both enemy heavies went there, here comes the big question;
Who's going to stop them from sitting there and letting you and the enemy TDs farm them?
If TDs are most likely camping and you're not in their way, nothing stops them. Perhaps they'll lose a % of their HP, but if they stand still on the windmill, they would lose 100% of the HP in a question of time.
But this scenario isn't perfect at all, it would need that the other heavy should be your platoon mate or very good at teamplaying
And even more variants; are the TDs purely focused yet? Did the castle get conquered faster than a heavy crossing the windmill? Are they even going to the windmill? (The enemy heavies can be going anywhere, I already have seen people camping in the castle while using VK 100)
Wrong. Farming heavies is the reward of the mediums winning the castle. Without the castle, then you'll see no medium camping there.

Something that bothers me about himmelsdorf is that there is almost no usable vegetation
So you can’t really use bush mechanics on this map, since there arean’t any bushes. Only some small trees.

- Being a German city during WW2
- It's winter, trees are mostly without any leaves, they're fragile and dry
- Intense artillery barrage and perhaps even British carpet bombing destroyed most of the city
- A battle has happened there before (it explains why there are destroyed Maus' there)
It'd make a lot more sense if there was no tree in Himmels.

The original mines map had the exact same size. The only difference is the mining machinery and the warships in the sea and airplanes

Don't forget the cap point is on the hill and not at town

The old mines had a much bigger hill and a smaller town, the dimensions of the map are the same

They are all but some like mines seems much smaller because the mountains which are useless in random games take 1/3 or 2/5 of the map while maps like castilla feel much bigger cause the whole map is being used ans accessible

it can fit a t15 (favorite tank in hiding) and anything smaller than that because there is a tree you can use as an improvised bush and hide there

122 is awful (Can't really do much with HE and HEAT is expensive). 152 is powerful but you have to endure a massive reload. The 107mm gun is the best, in my opinion.
You COULD play the 152 if you use cover well, but you need to rely on your team quite a bit. Don't stray off alone. It makes you a partial TD.
The position for the left is used to catch anyone cross/holding the bridges near the north spawn, while the position on the right is used to hold off any tanks trying to push on the hill. So something with good camo (E25 ) for the left position and something with good armour (WZ113) on the right position

I just want an old WW2 Town with multiple buildings and minimal open spaces, and tons of alleyways and streets interlacing with the town, just all around CQC and maybe a small open plaza in the center
I just want a map based in a fortified region, like Mannerheim line, Siegfried line, Stalin line or Maginot line.

Funny enough, there's no mappy with fortified regions in War Thunder. Perhaps Karelia but the WoT map Mannerheim line shows it better about what is a real fortified region

And it your teams lineup really chooses which way you go, if you have a mobile team you go rails, if you have a team of fat and slow heavies, you go coal

I bet the middle right and the middle will often see alot of combat, and flanking can be a bit difficult because the only way to get through the map is with the bridges which will almost always have TDs guarding it
Well unless the middle is extremely protected, it would just be a death trap. No real quick way to retreat, without protection (like buildings and stuff) it will be very susceptible to crossfire. Since it shares similarities with campstilla, it will end up being an even worse b cap town
Yes the middle for the most part is very open, and would only be used in the late game. The only positions that can be used early to mid game are on the top and bottom of the island, there are positions were you can create crossfire of the left island.
At some part of the second world war a scenario like this probably happened, it may be realistic but I have to note a few things
- The rivers probably will create a trench warfare if the vision for each side is too clear
- Trolls probably would push others in the water while crossing the bridger, perhaps some protection to avoid this and provide hull down areas?
- It de be very interesting If there was clear ways to get out of the river if you fell by accident because your light's turn rate isn't as good as you expected.

One of the main problems are considering how most waters are deep, and on the spawns. Its most likely they would just shoot eachother after leaving spawn, because there isnt much hilly terrain to cover you when crossing the bridge, and second considering that the maps scattered with deep rivers, killing speed of tanks making them much ez targets, not to mention the sizes of the river, slow tanks may drown if its deep

you probably mean the Moscow Peace Treaty and yeah, it was Finnish land before that, to some part at least, although the borders changed quite a lot during 1500-1900s. For the most part the Karelian language was very similar to Finnish and a lot of them did move to Finland during and before the end of the second world war.

WG remove invisible walls from all maps already. So many maps are full of them ruining gameplay in special game modes the most

There's invisible walls on literally every hill on Port bay, even small mounds
There's invisible walls on Hellas along the edges
There's invisible walls on Normandy blocking off the rocks by the beach on the north and south spawns
There's invisible walls on Naval frontier blocking off the climbs on both north and south spawn

Klondike WOT PC 1.4km by 1.4km takes nearly a whole minute for my Leopard 1 at 70km/h to get from one side to the other. its hilariously big, and they have 30vs30 teams...... massive
making that mode would probably be the biggest content update to blitz ever, and would probably require many months, or even a year or two to implement
I believe they should have a bit of a head start since they have the rough idea of how It should, knowing that WoT PC is a great example

What do you guys do when your whole team goes to town on Middleburg?
I cap the base and win like a boss, ruining everyone‘s game in the progress

Your options are pretty limited if that happens, unless you are fortunate enough to where the enemy team also doesn’t go hill and you can take it for yourself.
If it’s possible, I try to play in either spawn out of town. It’s because being in town and fighting people on the hill is pretty awful. The tanks that are in town have to expose themselves significantly more when fighting people on the hill. They have to poke around corners, show their hull etc whilst the players on the hill can comfortably go hulldown (showing less of their tank) as well as using their gun depression.
In some games, I have seen town work because we play defensively and the enemy team yolo’s down the hill. But it’s a bit of luck. Most of the time it doesn’t work out because the hill is so advantageous, teammates keep trying to challenge players hulldown on the hill whilst in town etc
is there a point to taking the hill on mines? seems like you get it, your team abandons it, and you're left trapped and/or dead .-.
If you are on south spawn hill is good, If you are north spawn the hill has little cover
I was on south spawn... the team went up the hill... then immediately fell back... and I was left trapped on the hill
That‘s because you force the enemy back which makes fighting on the hill unattractive to your team since they are more at risk of being shot by TDs
And a few enemies yoloing through the town are easy food compared to the tedious fight on the hill
I sometimes stay on the hill when one of my teammates pushed it, but that‘s out of kindness and not because I hope to be particularly effective there
Taking hill basically means you win the game. If lights or mediums are in the middle, they can shoot and spot anyone on the map. If you have gun depression and have armour, you will dominate the hill. If you fail getting hill, TDs behind you will keep them back.
If your team gives up hill, then you will most likely lose. If you push through town, you are stuck in town. TDs will farm you if you rush or push.
Hill is a strange position now. If your team takes the hill, your odds of winning the game increase substantially because the guy on the hill can both pin down the enemy from challenging the high ground (forcing them back under the hill), and also spot the enemy TDs if they fire. That said, the guy who’s actually on the hill won’t be able to do much damage himself (unless you’ve managed to get like an IS-7 or Kranvagn or something up there) since he’ll be a high priority target, and most peeks will be ruthlessly punished. It’s weird because it’s his mere presence that influences the game, and not the damage he puts out

I hardly go to this passage, it's too exposed to the middle and don't seem to be safe if there's a sniper fooling around, I usually use the right side of this house as cover to attack the C point. So no, I never got stuck at this exact area, I never did put a track there.

When WG added the bullet holes in the tanks, they didn't mean to make such gore
I would like them to add to the maps something that I saw in another tank game that I thought was very cool. is that depending on the time you enter to play, it also adjusts on the map, playing it in the afternoon or at night makes the same map change completely

How do you play on Castille as a no depression heavy, I cant go on the hill because you'll just be easy damage for everyone else. And the corner that leads into the "gulch/gutter" is always iffy. At least as a medium you have quite a few options, but I find myself suffering in HTs
I usually go to city and infiltrate the castle or snipe to the hill position.

Dead rail and mines need to be reworked. On dead rail it’s just a camp fest. Med flank is very difficult if there is a camping TD as is Heavy flank although heavy flank is better. I feel med flank would benefit from larger space and heavy flank would benefit from more cover from TD’s. Heavy flank is literally 3 options A= narrow corridor B= Hulldown C= Certain death in town.
Mines is self explanatory, especially for higher tiers.
@fallow storm death rail is the only decently fun map for TD playing still, it's just a fact most TDs aren't able to front line so what do you think they should do when you take away most of their damage potential away by changing all the maps to be unplayable
I've never had any trouble playing the map with heavies, nor meds but I wouldn't say I've played meds enough there to have a say. It's your own fault if you decide to be stupid enough to go through the corridor, the hulldown hill works just perfectly well
I’m saying TD’s should still be able to camp but not to have a view range as expansive as the one they are given on Dead rail. Sit in that bush in corner of map and you can snipe meds heavies etc.
I don’t go corridor often unless I’m playing a heavy with 0 gun depression, and even then any progress is slow if there’s a host of TD’s camping.
Don’t try to make this a skill issue, I can assure you there’s no skill issue involved.
Even hulldown is a death trap if both bushes near the red line are being utilized (spawn and hill) so look one direction, you get shot from another.
And if you try to push in heavy flank you get recked by crossfire from anyone sitting near the train tracks
Not to mention it’s a map that encourages camping. Campers are winners on the map, and it’s no fun if the whole enemy team and your team are camping - which I have seen far too often
If you think about it 3TD’s on dead rail is ideal. One covers med flank, 1 sits in spawn bush and the other on the hill. Good luck trying to push through.
What's that? Sounds like a skill is...... Yeah maybe so but the key is to not push. The map is more about killing the heavies and meds first, or killing the TDs fast if you're lucky. If you wish to play something with no camping, you could play tournaments. I think the positioning of the TDs is alright, as I personally don't have trouble with them on that map most of the time so I will unfortunately have to make it about skill. It takes experience to know when and how to peek and get yourself around the map. For me hulldown has worked great so far. Either way I don't think the map can be reworked in the way you mentioned without changing the map basically completely.
Well 3 TDs in a team itself is already a problem WG should fix either way. 1 per team it should be.

Yeah I will admit I’m not good at getting myself around the map on dead rail as It seems to be one of the rarer maps I play on, but when I do play it’s a not great experience. Most of the time when I go hull down, my Team heavies either just dip and go med flank, which results in their destruction as they are easily picked off whilst trying to go up the hill into town, or Everyone camps, or No one goes to check the corridor out (which, you guessed it, results in us being flanked down the corridor and the destruction of my team mates.
Summary: Not good experience on Dead rail lol.
Recently aswell I’ve had so many occasions where everyone just follows me for no damn reason. I go spotting position in light tank? Heavy and TD also go spotting. I go hulldown? Everyone else wants to hulldown too, not even spread on the hill but literally just infront of me. XD Carry harder is the only way I get through the day

I agree. The map is too TD-strong, especially on the HT side. Any TD can just sit back and easily reach 60% of the map. It needs reworking to make it more challenging for TDs.

That's the problem, you will not see a position where you can take advantage of your gun depression. You'll need to camp in the back, preferentially on the train station as it's the most movimented area, at least on EU

When people talk about the light and heavy sides of maps, die they just memorize which side is which or do they just go whatever side their tanks spawns in on? So do all heavies spawn on the same side of maps?

There were original, old versions of many maps which can be quite different , sadly I don’t remember most of em. I remember that Black Goldville, Copperfield, Rockfield, lost temple, Mines. Dead rail, Desert sands and that map with rocks to the south and a factory to the east with the cap in the middle were changed, some significantly. I don’t remember a map being “removed” entirely

I just want a Bigger City map, Not New Bay, but like a WW2 City with wooden/Stone buildings, sorta like himmelsdorf but bigger and lots more buildings and routes to drive through buildings, like tunnels going through them, and maybe like a River running right through the map with 2 Bridges on each end of the river crossing over to the other side and a building in the middle of it and a tunnel so the water can run under it and tanks can be able to drive under it as well or in place of the River, a Railway system

Nah, just I recognize the name from SAO, excellent anime in my opinion, always envied Kirito and his ability to accomplish anything he sets his kind to just by thinking of his loved ones
But we do need larger maps, More routes and open area for light tanks to maneuver and scout, and heavy tanks have to rely on Mediums to assist them so they actually win, and it would take longer for heavies to get to the front so they have to rely on Lights to spot so they can all work as a team

Anyways, I think we can maybe take some maps out and actually expand them instead, Himmelsdorf being the prime example. imagine that massive castle on the east side. There's always a fun fight there on pc. There's other maps I don't think we can do anything about though, like Mines and Falls Creek.
there's also some maps from pc I think we can add to blitz as large maps too, such as Studzianki, Highway, and Kharkov.
I still think a fun but simple map would be just a massive slightly hilly open area with loads of burnt out tanks or just an entire forest map although this two would be pain for tds

Mirage and Lost Temple were removed in like 7.7 or 7.8 for reworking since ig they were unbalanced or something...hasn't been word on them since, although there is this in-development map that could be the reworked Mirage but nothing is confirmed. There's also the Proving Grounds tutorial map that was removed since we have a new tutorial now

As a TD I am very dependant on a good sniping position (or cover if urban so I can peek and retreat)and team spotting. So I ask, how am I supposed to play the med side of dead rail. Nothing far back enough provides a sightline. Basically the enemy would have to full rush us because to snipe them they need to be on our side of the map? (Asking because I just had to deal with the rare scenario that the heavies went the med side)

by tier 6 it becomes boring and monotonous

It's not a bad map, but if your team does not go both ways and your enemies do, you lose. I like the map too, it reminds me of the WoT maps but the majority of players have no idea what to do on the map.

Where do I push my tank on port bay? I see so many people at t7/t8 pushing to the port while I push to the hills
River side for me, I rarely if ever will go into the port.
Mediums/Lights want to try to cross river and go corner or at least contest that flank so enemy mediums do not have free reign to shoot the heavies/tank destroyers in the side.
Heavies want to hold that middle hill where the frontline usually ends up at. If there’s an opening or the enemy is being passive, you can push past that section and start harassing where the backline vehicles usually will be, or shooting enemy mediums who might still be near the corner. That’s usually how I play it for the typical non-tournament battles.
Probably one of the biggest reasons I see a team fall apart on that map is because the heavies are way too passive. They sit back, around where the tank destroyers usually are, and essentially allow the enemy heavies to have a lot of the side for free. The enemy heavies push up because of it and get good angles on any mediums that crossed river. Consequently, the mediums there either die or they are forced to drop down to avoid the crossfire. Then corner is lost and the enemy is at quite an advantage

You know the maps that he mentioned aren't really ment to be played in the city parts, we nearly always fight in the hilly terrains... idk maybe I'm a heavies main but I know that such maps aren't that favorable for heavies...other classes can perform really well in them
light tanks can also be very effective to spot the enemies and flank them appearing from behind and change position undetected because of the buildings but you need to have a little bit of map knowledge because you can easily take the wrong street and end in front of your enemies without having the possibility to run away
I think one of the issues with current city maps is how exposed the city actually is to the medium flank. Often the reason to go dunes/river/hills/caves is to avoid getting farmed in the side of you want to move up or be creative about flanking an opposition heavy. And I’d say this is usually a result of the city being the low ground as well. Poking out of them is usually just bad compared to using any bog standard hill to poke.
I would also submit that himmelsdorf is too small with too many clean lanes. But compared to mines or especially port bay it isn’t too difficult to work with.
I think WG needs to fix the south side mines bush, it is impossible to use if you don't have good camo.
We should have a open field map for the tank destroyers with range Capabilities

It’s sad that blitz doesn’t have bigger maps. Tank company has bigger maps and it runs fine and it’s not even 100% done yet. After having played tank company and with how blitz currently is I’d much rather play that. I feel like they keep adding fantasy tanks and weird things to blitz just for new content which is diluting the main reason I wanted to play this game which was good tank battles
its named world of tanks "blitz" for a reason, if blitz add bigger maps then they will have to increase the time battle to 15 mins and amount of players each battle like a 15v15 similar to WoT PC which isnt good imo, especially for players that need to do irl stuff or their parents are calling them to do something mid game, if u want big maps play war thunder and WoT PC, tank company is basically just a chinese ripoff of WoT
The issue with blitz isn't that it's fast pace tank battles, the issue is that it's not tank battles at all. It looks cartooney and a mess with all these wierd tanks added. That's why if they want to add content, it would be nice if they added bigger maps as it would allow for more realistic battles which with the way this game is going it desperately needs. Litterally so many new tanks are either fantasy or crazy prototype. What happened to the classic tanks that the game should be built on. And don't say just play wot PC or warthunder, this is about a mobile tank game. Wargaming ofc can do what they want, but the reason they don't add bigger maps is because it's too much work with little direct monetary benefit. Instead they can just release the next op premium and make bank and repeat. They just use the fact that this game is called blitz as an excuse for not working to actually improve the playing experience
This was on my phone, say what you want but this looks way better and is more fun than some fantasy tanks with grotesque camos just charging at each other. It makes me upset that I have to play some bootleg game and lose all my progress just cause wargaming won't improve
As much as u have a point there a people who are still playing on old devices that are barely able to run the game as it is. Just the other day people were saying their phones were getting 2 fps on maps like Hellas and ghost factory. U say all this talk about adding way bigger maps but half the time people in this game go to one side of the map. So there's really not any point in making bigger maps,that can support 10v10 or more.
I can agree the graphics need to be changed on the map front as well but don't expect anything till 2 years from now. The new PBR tanks are taking a while to be implemented,so u r just gonna have to wait the new maps with better graphics and a slightly larger scale or just go play tank company. Like I still play blitz cus my new tablet from 2020 (granted the hardware this thing is packing isn't great) is only able to play on everything low or off. Any higher and I get lower than 30. This is my problem but they think about people like me.

The developers of blitz got too comfortable having no competition with mobile tanks games, and now there is a game which is literally WoT PC on mobile.
Also almost a third of Blitz players play through steam so I don't thing it's a big deal for the company if they release bigger maps at the cost of losing 5 players using an Iphone 4s...

9v9s in blitz have happened in the past, though they did not happen on purpose. I was in one at the game ran just fine, and at the time I was playing on a Iphone 6s which I imagine is considered old now.

Definitely, wg just milking blitz right now with new tanks being added and nothing that really improves the game play. Also with the way all the new camos have been it’s clear who their target audience is.
I’m just surprised at what wargaming’s plan is for all this. Are they really just gonna let blitz degrade and milk it as much as they can and then let some other company come in siphon off some of their player base. Do they really not care all and are willing to drive such a good game that’s been here for so long to the ground till they can’t make any more money. You never wanted to play blitz from the start, you want to play WOT. But yeah, Blitz can support slightly bigger maps and even 9 vs 9. Third world cellphones are bad, but not bad enough to crash the game simply for adding a few polygons
I wanted to play a tank game on mobile. They decided to make it blitz which made sense for back then, but now that times are changing, saying the game can’t change because it’s better how it is is just an excuse to avoid actual work that won’t directly bring money

As much as going med on hellas in heavy is a viable option, I prefer to push my heavy to the ditch thats not in the firing range of A and B cap. It gives good cover and since most of the time no one goes there u can get good shots on the enemies trying to cap.
Push med only if u r the only ht or your whole team is just meds and lights.
I meant more for encounter. I know what you mean and I’ve gone there a lot, but to me it’s risky cause if they all just rush med side, what are your meds gonna do. They can run but for sure 1-2 guys will go down
If they split then that’s a good spot as long as you have some support. Also if you go into the ditch, careful cause other tanks may have the same plan and you will get deleted rushing there.
WoT Blitz is not only the "Smaller WoT", it's an arcade game that don't have any reason to fully be maintained in historic models. If you want realism, War Thunder is your place, not a game where tanks literally have health bar.
It's obvious that the game doesn't care about realism, since when they claimed to have realistic vehicles? They claim to have ww2 tanks and a few ones from the 50's and 60's. That's all.
"But War Thunder won't run on my cellphone", that's the feeling of much people that can't run Tank Company, or do you think this game is as light as a badly programed calculator?

Bruh you guys missed the whole point. Currently there is only 1 tank game on mobile, blitz, so why mention all those other games that don’t apply. Before the game used to be more realistic, ie less fantasy tanks, op consumables, etc. Now it’s not realistic at all and is basically in my opinion worse cause the reason I and others wanted to play blitz was that it was a tank game on mobile and not that it was blitz specifically, that’s the part you ain’t getting. It’s obvious blitz doesn’t care about realism which it never did, but the way it’s turning it doesn’t even seem like a tank game anymore. And in my view, the reason blitz is turning this way is not because this is the better game, but because it’s easier for them to make money with less work.
Saying that the game should be moving in this ugly way of weird tanks being added because that’s how it’s designed is ignoring the fact that maybe the way it’s being updated is better for wg and worse for the player, which is why I’m upset.

What is the concept of a tank? According to Oxford, It's "a heavy armored fighting vehicle carrying guns and moving on a continuous articulated metal track"
So it's a tank anything that ave those 3 factors;
- Armor, which not necessarily needs to be extremely thick, but just enough to be a cover for infantry
- Carries guns, not necessarily being cannons, (btw, it's not much know, but if it have a cannon but no turret then it's not a tank but an SPG or an assault gun, with a few exceptions like STRV 103)
- Moves by tracks.
All the vehicles in the game are either tanks or SPGs as their historical accuracy does not have influence on the concept of a tank, thus said, it's a tank game, regardless of your opinion about vehicles like Helsing or Annihilator
And by the way, WoTB is not your only choice, if you want massive graphics and maps, You'll have to go to your PC, that's the price of your desires. War thunder have one of the best warfare map designs that I ever have seen, no fake tanks and no fantasy play. That's exactly what you want

First, PUBG have way less mechanics that Wotb and even tho don't run in a ton of cellphones. Mine can't run PUBG, Fortnite, Genshin impact and even Minecraft gets at 30 fps average if a discord call is on, meanwhile WoTB works in a minimal of 40fps. That says a lot about the unfair comparison you're making.
It's truth that it was a decade ago, even tho, computers are still computers and cellphones are still cellphones... Unless you're from a rich country and manages to buy a new iPhone every year.

Pubg runs on unreal engine 4 which is far more powerful and modern than blitzes engine so that also doesn’t count and even then that game suffers horrendous graphic downgrades and bugs the game looks graphically impressive but that’s all it seems to it the voices sound boring and shooting also sounds boring
Yes I recorded, 2, the game was available in ru and some eu countries whixh is how I played so that’s false, and I have full recordings but I can’t upload cause of size. I have played on both my iPad and my s21, so yes my devices are quite nice, but doesn’t mean everyone has to play at max graphics. And my iPad is not super new and could handle high graphics. Only issue about blitz is it’s engine is outdated. And also, blitz has had years to improve, these guys are coming from scratch and have to steal/copy everything. How can blitz not do it better when they the ones who made it?

Just for you to know: this is literally as good as my computer in therms of RAM, that space is as good as some cheaper modern SSD and I'm not even going to me mention the octacore part. You have literally a portable computer on your hands and wants to compare blitz (that runs well even in 2016 phones) to a literal WOT that was extremely polished.

Also, prototype tanks add stuff to the game. If WoT had never started to make prototype and fake yet still believable tanks, they’d run out of tanks to add to the game, same with WT. The day will come when WoT and WT run out of actual tanks to add, WT especially, as they seem to slowly be dipping into adding either prototypes of actual tanks, or basing down to variations of tanks (M1 Abrams anyone?)
Every new line in WoT(B) and WT attracts new players, and keeps older players more interested into the game
No joke, on the day the Polish heavies were released, many of the battles I played at the time contained many newer players, and just as many older players- most of them Polish. What I’m trying to say here is that the inclusion of these “fake tanks” made the game healthier- you get more players, both new and old come to enjoy the new line, and test them out- it attracts players, and it often sticks, too

They have the power, i asked one of my friends and he can play at 120 FPS with his phone. Blitz is good optimized, especially for apple devices. I played in the past this game at 60 FPS on high settings with my iPhone 6.

Hellas can cut either way. The critical positions that determine success are those 2 TD ridges in the spawns. If they’re properly defended, a team that flanks through the med side will have some issues trying to create a crossfire for their team. However, if they’re able to seize those ridges, and the team on heavy side isn’t able to break through, it’s over

I ran around the latter in a LT in training mode and looks as if there are some nice spots for TDs.

The name Campingnovka is more suited for PC malinovka, but on blitz there are still some good sniping spots
Some good spots, though the second position is only reachable in some tanks, and should only be used if you are sure no one is going town. First position gives you a view of the south teams main TD position, and the alley in the north
Ive only used the second position a couple times, it can be brutal in the right situation
that 2nd position seems super useless, it takes a while to get up. Just use the rock or the house near the cap and snipe from there
The only difference with this position is that you won’t get spotted by anyone in the dip, but the draw back is only a couple TDs can actually reach it confidently
I was able to get something as slow as an ISU here, it really isn’t hard to go here

Even at high tiers (although I don't play too many tier 10 battles)
Mines can be annoying in some tanks since the map is pretty limited, but the basic design of the map really isnt bad. Also it has a good amount of foliage so you can use camo mechanics on it well. I would rather they removed Dy(nasty)s pearl, since that map is just crossfire hell and feels even tinier than mines.
Lost Temple is related to good memories for me. Would really love to see it again. Same goes for Mirage 🙂
Mirage was a interesting map, i remember my first battles with a tier 3 in that map
mines is only decently fun when you have a hulldown tank

I believe they are trying to redesign the map. The layout it had was a bit odd and was only able to be played by like tier 4-7
Mirage was also taken out for a rework because it was only playable at lower tiers and honestly wasn't that balanced. They'll eventually add the redesigned maps back into blitz
It is being reworked because the temple area was apparently too dominant compared to the medium area

No there isn't,
And a rotating one wouldn't work any way
The minimal we have now doesn't move, it is just an overview of the battle. The map is too small to make a minimal follow the tank. A rotating minimap has to follow the tank, but that wouldn't work because the maps are designed square and not enough room to zoom in
Zooming in isn't that essential for a rotating map. I just want to see my own arrow on the minimap always pointing forward

There’s no way to do it, but for situational awareness, I find it easier to physically look around than using the minimap. Also pay attention to the red arrows on your screen calling out spotted enemies outside your point of view

Oh ok. Mobile you can only turn the mini map on and off. On pc you can make it larger or smaller in addition.
Minimap on mobile is the first toggle switch on the left.
Yeah, but pc has a much larger map with double the tanks to keep track of.
Being that tanks move around the map so quickly in blitz (such as a med/light being able to drive around the map in less than a minute), it's not quite as useful.
But even still, I'd like that, even though it's not as useful as in WoT pc.

One of the spawns (can't remember which) have a huge mound that prevents many heavies from wanting to cross, causing basically everyone to be stuck in spawn and other classes like the lights, meds and tds can't do anything because the second they try pushing they get crushed. The other side provides rlly good cover for the tanks and thus a lot more heavies push that side. Youtubers like hisroyalfatness have been reiterating on this but it hasn't been changed

its just me or Dynasty pearl is just not playable map you try hulldown you get cross fired, you go city you lose, and its all about meds. I dont like that map so much. I can play good in any other map expect dynasty..

We need more maps like canal, not centered around heavies, lots of climbs, lots of elevations and depressions and a sufficient amount of foliage
The trees and bushes on canal are nice and big, unlike a map like falls creek where the majority of trees and bushes are too small to even be used
Best to actually reduce maps like canal….

go to the main factory which is in the center of the map... dont go in the center of that building or you'll be sitting duck there.. just drive in the edges and shoot everyone u see LOL.. that's my strategy which is effective 😄
Honestly I get shouted at when I do that with my 168. The strat people agree with is to go to the bridge, and let the mediums do their job at spotting before the hts push the enemy mediums which is when the tds snipe the running meds

Why was lost temple removed that map was bussin also why does it seem like I always play on the same 5 or 6 maps?!?!?!??
“In update 7.9 we are removing Lost Temple and Mirage in order to rework these maps. There are some issues not letting us include them in high-tier battles. Moreover, it's not possible to set Supremacy mode on Mirage. Maps get removed indefinitely, we want to focus on the most problematic areas keeping the visual style the same.”
I wish there was a way to set a schedule of sorts that makes sure you play through every map at least one like every 20 or 30 games I can’t remember the last time I played on mines
Might do a quick review of my favorite spot in Yamato harbor
Every time that the battle starts, my first objective isn't the sniping spot on the bushes, the Yamato itself or achieving victory on medium lane, but taking the sector 5 for me.
This area allows you to:
- Spot and intercept reinforces to medium lane
- Spot and intercept reinforces to Yamato
- Flank easily through both sides
- Have a privileged view of Yamato
- Get a strong position sidescrape position on the direction of the enemy sniping spot
- Get some hull down areas on the direction of the Yamato
This is my "mine of aces" area, as that's where I aced my Lowe two times and my Jagdpanzer E100 once
As counterpart of the incredible views, you're extremely exposed to the opposite time you're aiming for. For example, if you're aiming for the medium lane, enemies on Yamato will have a clear and safe vision of your bottom, allowing them to use HE if you're using more unarmored tanks
Also, players on Yamato can intercept you quickly if you don't pay attention
