There are too many tiers in my point of view. I think its enough to say that certain tanks are "average, above average or below average". "S" tier is basicly should be reserved for meta tanks (either for CW or randoms). Tbh. I dont see some tanks beeing that bad.

Well yeah I agree that three tiers would be enough but I just used the default tier list I have put three tanks at the bottom because I think that they don't work as well as they were intended too like is-7 a heavy tank with armor that always has a weak spot same with A5 or Polish TD that is way to stoic for a TD that's supposed to fight at close range it just doesn't work

The problem is called calibrated shells. Same goes for Maus. Most HTs run with 370+ Heat pen and thats why some tanks might appear weaker.

A5 is for me in its current state a classical Heavium. It shouldnt behave like are Superheavy

It is a HT but its not played like a classical HT. You shouldnt put Tank in roles which they cannot perfrom. You should rather look for its strenghs and use them as its main argument.

If you are a beginner I can really recommend the 60TP, easy to understand armor model (you can check blitzkit to see it) high alpha gun so you dont have to expose yourself very often and just have to make a few shots count to deal goods amount of damage

Then I would probably go for a diffrent class then heavy tank, for example Mino which plays similar like a Heavy but it has a hard hitting 3 shot autoreloading gun, the armor profile is also pretty easy understandable and you have some gundepression to learn the hulldown gameplay

If you liked the Skoda T25, the TVP plays pretty much exactly like it but as a tier 10, but its a more advanced tank since it has no armor but alot of mobility

to be fair Emil I and SMV are already pretty similar to the tier X, as long as you enjoy those, cant really do anything wrong with going much further but Emil I, SMV and 53Tp are already very good, 53TP is probably one of the best tier 8s there is, so its hard to get better then that

I can also recommend to watch gameplay on Youtube for example of those tanks, so you have a greater idea of how the play like, or what their strong and weakpoints are

im choosing between buying 121b for 16k gold or waiting for something else (i Would like to try wz-111-5A). I already have Wz121 which i think is pretty simillar in terms of DPM / HP / mobility, the main difference is the gun and the adaptive camouflage. I want to ask somebody that played both tanks how big of a difference it is and if its worth it buying 121b with legendary camo for 16k.

If you perform well in Heaviums like IS-8, 260...you might perform in WZ-5A aswell.
121B is more like a hit and run tank with super speedboost and adaptive concealment. Its basicly a medium version of WZ-132-1 but with a bit of armor and its pretty fun to play ngl.
My opinion: 121B is currently a good choice.

The big periscope thing seems like it’d be a huge weak spot like a cupola but whenever I go up against them I usually can’t reliably pen it because it is pretty decently armored and hard to hit at a distance, only at close range especially facehug can I pen it easily
And it’s lower plate is super thin
Side armor is very weak and long though so any angling would give you a good shot

I've tested the new VK 168 Tier 9 for 18 battles now, and I have to say that this tank is total crap in its new shape. The armor isn't good at all, you are literally a driving weak spot that just get's farmed, when trying to play its intended role. frontally you have the cupola, lower hull, and the mg-spot. When trying to sidesrape it, you present the weak spots on its side armor, through the tracks. The turret would be good, if it hadn't that massive cupola on it.

I didn't find out how you should play this "super heavy", if any tier IX and X can just penetrate you frontally, choosing between one of the three big weak spots. And we are not even talking about premium ammunition. I mean look at its side armor, this is a joke right?!

Pretty frustrating tank now, it combines bad mobility, with medium to bad armor, medium survivability, medium firepower and bad flexibility.

How should that tank work? The only thing it is good for is playing against tier 8.

Mauschen is pretty definitively worse than the VK and the T. Maus in my opinion. I suspect the 168 and the Mauschen will perform near identically.

In order to make them as competitive as their counterparts, they need, chiefly, speed buffs.

The T. Maus goes 27 with much better DPM and better armor. Less alpha and less HP, yes, but more firepower and better ability to bring it into the fight.

The VK 45 goes 30, has much better armor (the vast majority of tanks need to use pramo on the turret weak points), and can use tungsten to boost its DPM above that of the Mauschen and 168.

The E75 is better because of similar reasons: better armor and significantly better mobility.

I think Mäuschen is better. It has its turret in the back, so you can hide the vulnerable spots in the front/side armor, when sidescraping. As well as that, Mäuschens gun handles a lot better, and it has a higher top speed of 25 km/h instead of 20 km/h. The top speed is probably the parameter that makes the biggest difference.

But yes, Mäuschen is also not a very good tank tbh. But still better than the VK.

That nailed it. The Maus line (except the Maus) needs at least one strength aside of their armor, to make them good if the armor is not. It is almost like WG put extra work in trying to make their armor not too strong, which resulted in having too big/easy weak spots.

I mean what is the sense of a super heavy, if you can't tank a lot, because everyone can easily hit your big, fat, weak spots (and if not, just spam premium ammo)? Your examples were perfect, every single of that heavies are better in tanking, than the Maus lineups.

And the higher HP don't do much there as well. You may take one pen shot more with them, that's not enough by far.

I would actually say, that the Type 5 H is worse than the Zetsu. If you compare their stats on Blitzkit, the Zetsu has better gunhandling, better DPM, slightly different armor on the sideplates, which makes it able to effectively sidescrape, and it has a LOT better mobility.

(Zetsu is around 55 tons lighter than the Heavy, with still the same engine power.)

not the biggest fan of it, the v4 struggles alot since the calibrated shells buff, heavy tanks with average heat pen with cali equipped basically dont struggle to pen you anymore if you are on flat ground, using the bit of gundepression you have can help with that, but even then if you turn a slight bit the angled plates become a easy pen, combine that with slow turn rate and not the best gun the tank really struggles atm

against mediums, lights and low pen heavy tanks the armor as long as you are directly facing the enemy is still good, but as I said, slighty turn and they butter threw, cant rly recommend it these days

the gun is okay, a bit worse then similar tank destroyers, mobility is also worse then compareable tanks, such as WZ GFT

But for mediums 121B is good and was pretty cheap sold last time, very fast, good alpha with good DPM, armor is okay but dont trust it too much, but it struggles with gundepression, iirc Peterkekw recently made a video about it, so check that out

Carro 45t is very good right now, autoreloader with good DPM, but it struggles with everything else, meh armor, meh accuracy and gunhandling and mobility is also not the best, so its generally a bit harder to play then other mediums

Judging your stats your best performing tank seems to be the K-2, I would probably rather recommend you a heavy tank with good armor, such as S.Conq. (can play hulldown very nicely aswell) or VK 90.01P which is a awesome sidecraper

Noteworthy here is definitly the Concept 1b which is one of the best heavy tanks right now, its very good hulldown, strong double shot autoreloader with good dpm, and its not slow by any means, it only struggles with premium pen a bit

Damage in this game is (almost) always based on the caliber of the gun
There are some exceptions like autoloaders who split up the damage of their gun into parts (like FV4005 realistically is a 183mm but they didn’t want it to have that so they split it into previously 4 400 shots now it’s 2 “152 caliber” shots)

And some exceptions give or take a bit so they can make the guns more unique like some 120mm tanks so slightly less than 400 damage (the standard 120mm damage) so they don’t have to make the tank the same as everything else and if it does like 380 they can make the reload faster

VK 100 was good back in the 5.X updates like it's release, when angling made you nigh unpennable. Now Tiger II is just a better pick because games don't need tank like VK 100 just specializing in stalling.

E100 would be a greater tank if stalling was the name of the game. It can defensively sidescrape, and hits hard if enemy makes moves, but in the current meta, aggression is too powerful for one specialized tank to counter.

BZT-70 needs a balance review.

I have 66% win rate on my account, around 2,700 average damage overall, and around 3,100 average damage on tier X. But after 100 battles in the BZT-70, I have below 48% win rate and only around 2,500 average damage.

That is why this tank does not feel “unique” or “hard to master” — it feels underpowered and frustrating.

The most illogical part is its concept: the tank has huge mass and very low speed, and visually it looks closer to something like a heavily armored T95-style vehicle, yet in battle it gets penetrated frontally by almost any caliber, even through the turret. For a tank built like this, that makes no sense.

The armor is too weak for such poor mobility, the ammo rack gets damaged too often, and the gun handling feels bad overall: low accuracy, long aim time, long reload, and low consistency. On top of that, it gets spotted too easily, which makes all of these problems even worse.

Please review its armor, gun reliability, ammo rack survivability, reload, mobility, and concealment.

I feel like these kind of tanks should be very easy to implement since they’re just two halves of existing tanks and only would need very little adjustments to fit
And stats would be easy too
Just take the sherman easy 8 stats like armor is the same and lower the mobility a bit (heavier turret)
And then for the Pershing take the Eagle 7 turret and just reduce the armor and increase the reload a little to tier 6 levels
