How come the T-54 mod. 1 was forgotten, its main compare is the T-44-100.

Stat-wise the 44-100 outclasses it in everything but armour, and the T-44-100 has access to a full consumable suite. mod. 1 has nothing in comparisson. Both have the same alpha, but 44-100 reloads 19% faster, is noticably faster, and enjoys better pen?

Everything. The reload time. Dispersion. Lack of armor. I can go on. I even tried changing my playing style but it doesn't work. When people ask how to most effectively play the tank I always say treat it like a tank destroyer. It doesn't have the armor or reload time needed to be on the front lines executing an assault. However it doesn't even perform that well in TD role either. I'm truly stumped. I've never had a problem figuring out the best way to play a tank until this one showed up. I used to play it very well now it's just one ace tanker badge away from being sold.

Nor is it a hard tank to figure out how to play, you just play it opportunistically, taking HESH shots when you can and using hard cover to avoid taking shells. If you can’t avoid taking shells, you still have heavy tank HP pool which allows some mistakes, and even trading if you feel like it

There's a reason why you the Caliban is a rarity here on the NA server (not sure where you play). You'll see the Quetzal or however you pronounce it more often than Caliban. And I've only seen it a handful of times since it dropped last winter.

Make the tank playable. Even the crazy alpha isn't worth the trouble. The T49 with its derp gun is better than the Caliban. It's a different tank but my point is make it worth the trouble. I'm not saying make all the tanks play the same but make all of the tanks acceptable quality. That's not too hard. It's a heavy tank but you can't even play it like one because the gun is terrible and it has ZERO armor. Can't play it like a tank destroyer because it doesn't have accuracy or ability to spot tanks at a distance required. Obviously no one in their right mind will play it like a light or medium tank. Then again I see you have a hard time understanding why me and many others say its a bad tank.

Also it’s balanced it’s hard to fight anything with armor since you only do as much damage as you can get all your shells to hit one specific area (which is hard with a burst shot gun vs a small weak spot a good chunk of them will miss) and each individual shell does barely any damage

So you only deal good damage if all your shells pen
Not to mention the tank is huge for a light tank

Also fighting at long range or any moving target is also difficult for the kind of gun it has and has to rely on reticle calibration for anything that isn’t lightly armored or moving

I've noticed the TOG II ingame uses the incorrect 17-pdr cannon, the real one uses a One-of-a-kind 28-pdr 94mm gun which is actually a decent chunk better than a 17-pdr, this is a mistake that has been going on for a while, even the Bovington Tank museum, who has it, got this wrong for a while, it annoys me.

IS-7 is decently quick and decently armored, with the turret being among the strongest in the game. However, it lacks in pretty much all aspects of the gun except alpha, which can lead to it being quite underwhelming when it comes to actually dealing damage.

IS-4 has gotten quite a few mobility and gun buffs in the past year or so, leading to it gaining a rather reliable gun with decently high dpm for a tier 10 heavy, while also being quite agile. The addition of super speed boost helped it massively, and it even got an armor buff that brings it closer to the pre-nerf levels it was before, allowing it to stand up to most standard rounds now.

In the current state of the game, the IS-4 is by far the better option if you can deal with the hull being a little unreliable at times. If you’re looking for a more laid back, but less damage output style of tank, then the IS-7 will do just fine.

For some shots you can add some camera filter fitting to its time period something like the third one. I suggest trying forced perspective to make it look life sized. The model looks great btw!

How attachments work is that every tank has “hook” points for some attachments to be placed onto, however despite every tank having them wargaming forgets to enable them for other attachments

Well it’s a nice, versatile TD since it has a turret. Personally I’d try supporting my meds and lights in the second line.

Avoid trading because you’re made out of paper, you’ll almost always come out worse in trades than the enemy.

That means you don’t need to shoot the enemy if they’re pre aimed at you unless you got a bush to abuse or need to secure a kill

I want to put in light a problem with the ATAC. The tank is actually made to have 2 good guns with different profiles. So it's frustrating not to be allowed to use the first gun in ratings!
That's right, having 2 different guns is more surprising and it's à buff, but:
1:some other tanks (Wt auf PZ IV for example) have 2 guns
2:if you really want to give only 1 gun to the ATAC, create a ATACv2 or something

No clue what you're talking about, that sounds like a skill issue tbh. I main it and don't find any issues playing it hull-down. It's got the highest DPM for heavies with 120-122mm guns in Tier VIII and the highest penetration for Tier VIII heavies as well.

Tank Concept: M42 Duster
Tier 5 American Light Tank

The M42 Duster was a SPAA cpnversion of the M41 Walker Bulldog. Armed with 2 Bofors Cannons, the M42 was a simple and easy conversion to make, and entered service in the early 50s.

Do you like the Autoloader on the M41 but wish it could take out aircraft? Then the M42 Duster is for you. This little number is equipped with two 40mm bofors guns, similar to the one on the Cruiser IV at tier 3. What's spicy though is it has double the clip size and a much higher ammo capacity to boot. It also gets improved shells over it's tier 3 brother (I fudged the numbers for balance), although the pen is still abysmal.

There are some other downsides as well. The turret is only a gun shield, making the crew and ammo exposed. It has miniscule health and no armor to save it either. This is a tank for mag dumping and getting out of dodge before anyone retaliates

Nvm wrong tank The tank is balanced around damage and mobility. It has a special consumable that increases the damage per shot as well. Turret armor is great, mobility is nice and the gun handles really well for the damage it deals

When the tech-tree is using the autoreloader, it has one more shell at the expense of alpha damage and dpm. The gun that I would recommend to run on the tech-tree version would be the single shot though.

That would mean a tiny bit more alpha, no reserve shell and a little bit worse gun handling than the Vipera

The Vipera has a little less top speed but a bit better power to weight ratio. Armor-wise they are about the same with their stock turrets, but the tech-tree get's better armor with the upgraded turret.

U solo rely on dpm and mobility which is atm sadly not quite enough in today’s meta

I would really not recommend 140 unless u are a really good player

Ugh depends on your playstyle and other equipment loadouts

Since 140 has no super consumable I use only adrenaline on it, so I have 2 repair kits on it which is why I don’t mind losing the protective kit over some dpm

On tanks like leo1 where u might run double special consumable like reticle cali and adrenaline, protective kit is pretty useful tho

At least from my experience, there is multiple „correct“ answers to equipments

I don’t think gun powder is useful basically shell velocity over 1000ms get the job easily done, and it’s funny to get more but in my opinion blitz maps are too small to really make shell velocity worth it over, big fuel, big food and gear oil

The only tanks that get preferential matchmaking in Blitz are the Valentine II and Pz B2 at Tier 4. As long as you don't toon with a tank that doesn't have pref MM, you won't see T5s

certain screen flickering, stutter when it should in no way have a stutter at times, pixel rendering messes, where some pixels are low poly then suddenly fine the next or the opposite

simple stuff that over time is noticable, hardly a distraction, still this is although true non optimization on the PC graphics cards etc, it is also to do with the fact that blitz really isnt that hard to play on most devices PC wise, some pcs are overkill lol, this trope effects older titles too on advanced hardware

If it's new or has an M series cpu it should be able to run Blitz and use the Steam platform. (Steam is the easiest to make mods for, afaik).

Since iPhones and iPads use the M series cpu's too some mobile games can be played on Macs. The game devs need to enable that option, though.

Your selection of other pc games will be limited. Macs have too low of a market share.

If you're up against people who does know any thing, they wouldn't know that cupola is straight up your biggest weakness but as you rise through, tier for tier the cupola weakens relatively... so

You have amazing DPM but in exchange, you have weak cupola slow mobility comparable to a tortoise (yes the real tortoise) and you can't do anything about it. Unless the enemy ignores you, you're up for a never ending death session.

Tank concept: Sherman Repotenciado
Tier 9 British (Argentinian) Medium Tank

In 1978, peace between Argentina and Chile was under threat of a border dispute for the Beagle Channel. Argentina, in need of tanks, modernized their sherman fleet by equipping them with the same gun used on the Super Sherman. Other upgrades included a better engine, better suspensions, tracks and even gear shifts. Although war broke out, the war ended peacefully without bloodshed, and Argentina's Shermans never saw combat. Argentina kept their Shermans to the modern day, though they were phased out in the 1990s and only a handful serve in reserves and as ceremonial tanks.

The Sherman Repotenciado is very similar to the M4A1 Revalorise in most regards but is superior in a few important aspects. It's built on a sherman firefly rather than a M4A1, and as such can fit a more powerful engine and has better resistances. This allows much better mobility, going up to 50 km/h instead of 48. It's gun is almost identical, although due to better space from the firefly, it reloads quicker. It also has improved shells allowing for damage and dpm. Unfortunately, while the hp is improved, the armor isn't improved. Nevertheless, the Sherman Repo is a very dangerous adversary and should not be underestimated.

The hull being a “Sherman firefly” hull vs an M4A1 hull has no bearing on wether or not an improved engine can be added. Some Sherman fireflies were made on M4A1 hulls, and all the Repotenciado hulls had to have their engine bay redesigned anyways because none of them could fit the engine Argentina wanted in their original configurations

for Glacier it needs more Engine power because heavy tanks are faster than this tank and maybe make the reloading time faster.
for Fänrik make the inter clip/ time between shells lower from 3.8 at least to 3 seconds and give it some more engine power please

Leopard 1 is a good tank but it's down sides are armour and SP/HP. Rinoceronte is more beginner friendly in my opinion because it's a double shot and has good turret armour and has a lot SP/HP.
