Does anyone know how often those 5K gold tier 8 pop ups are? I know T95E2 can be one of those and I just got one for AMX cdc which sucks because I already had that tank

Also if you already have a tank in your garage does it make the pop up for that tank not come up? If I had CDC in my garage instead of sold in restoration

Peek and shoot and play as a support to other heavy tanks. It can also be a medium bully since you have a matching DPM but higher HP.

That gives it its appeal compared to other Med lines since you can do really safe trades

But since their calibers are big for fast Mediums, their accuracy (especially onmovement dispersion) suffers alot

Maus is also pretty friendly mainly due to how fat their tanks are (big HP allows a bunch of room for mistakes)

I prefer the E100 line in general though due to slightly better mobility and the fact that the t8-9 in Maus line have a very exploitable cupola (can be fixed by wiggling however or using structures/rocks to cover)

Depends on the tank usually
If it already has good dispersion values, buffing the onmovement accuracy and aim time with VStab would be more worth it. See something like the 140 or Leo 1

If it has bad dispersion values (0.33+), better to use Refined

Some tanks it comes down to preference, some tanks you might also not shoot on the move as often and Refined would be a better choice and vice versa for VStab, a good amount of factors to consider

Well tanks may be inaccurate for different reasons, take for example the WZ-121 which seems to have alright dispersion values but its onmovement dispersion is god awful, to be point it can't even be fixed by VStab, so it's better to just boost the base dispersion from alright to good

As for tanks that are already plenty accurate, I'd personally prefer VStab so things like snapshots are easier to take

Mmm. VStab is not what you might think it is. The Vertical Stabiliser actually improves the hidden soft stats of the gun, so the dispersion on move, rotation and turret rotation. So it‘s generally a good choice when your tank has a big bloom while driving, but is fairly accurate when stationary.

When your tank is inaccurate in all cases or doesn‘t bloom much, I would take the refined gun, especially since the equipment rework (dispersion also affects how big the bloom turns out)

At 40 tons, although carrying the same QF (quick firing) 6 pounder, having frontal armour of 152mm, armour that beats the tiger I and panthers and was made sure to have quality milling for it and overall an armour layout that makes sure the tank is safe from even panzerfausts with abundance of thin sheets of steel all over the tracks, an abysmal speed of around 12kmh cross country and barely reaching 20kmh on road (better to be situationally aware and being able to plan effectively), a virtually impenetrable or visible turret ring (if such a thing were tried for from a German Gunner), escape hatches for its crews (in case something goes wrong) replaced with circular versions to avoid weaknesses at the corners, an all around vision cupola for better situational awareness without exosure of the head and a movable periscope to spot targets while on the move (something the Germans did not have and hampered their effective firing rate by 20 to 30 seconds after target spotting), the climbing ability of churchills were one of its greatest strengths even going through conditions deemed impassible by other tanks.

all in all th Mk VII and IV to an extent were not as bad, maybe hampered by engines originally intended for lorries (trucks) or busses, but the slowness meant they could spot or decide and plan far more and have ample time to react as well. Good job Brits, now if only you could add the 17 pounder to the MK vii, that would have been the only thing left (looking at you failed black prince)

Another problem is because of the reload, if you do indeed fail to oneshot you can be punished for it if the enemy is fairly close to you or you don't have support/any cover

why the brits didnt carry the maxim machine gun on their tanks is beyond me, for the early soviet vehicles like the T-34 obr. 1941 to 1943s too and KVs for that matter, would be much more powerful than the standard 7.62mm DP-28s. Maxim is a world war 1 model gun, but it is definitely time tested. ammo amount and cooling issues also better compared to other machine guns

My point is many were literally left as is engines intact, for those with issues, those issues were drive train related with I bet minor engine problems, most divisions sent to normandy were experienced and especially the heavy tank battalions sent there having records of combat

with all the engine parts still around not really, plus you hounestly dont think the frenchies got their hands on the factory parts and their designs, well that which was still left, come now. Another thing is although german milling was different it was still milling processes based on the timeframe the 40s or early 30s, point is if they so wanted to replicate whatever, they just needed the resources and a few hints through factory orders or instructions etc

Which with this in particular there was alot of because as you know, concentration camp prisoners at some point was building or constructing parts etc, people with no knowledge did create these various parts etc through instructions and or some form of written or drawn guides

I have the Hunnicutt book on heavy tanks and T110E5’s concept looks like this so it does have the cupola in the drawing

Also T110E5 is the only turreted T110 so the T110E4 in game is fake

And in the book T110E4 is actually just a slightly improved T110E3 but like stuff dealing with the engine compartment in the back if I remember so they look nearly the same

I'm getting a lot of ideas for legendary camos for various tanks. Just for the record, remember I live in the US. That will make sense in a second.
I was hiking earlier today and I came accross a rattlesnake, a prairie rattlesnake to be exact. I showed my friends who I was hiking with, and with a little research we found out what kind it was and it turned out it was a type of pit viper known for being notoriously abundant in the area. I know that the US has been sort of renowned for the amount of rattlesnakes that live all around the country, especially in Colorado. The T57 Heavy used to be a very popular tank in the game and that gave me the idea to draw concept art for a new legendary camo, but sadly I lost my sketchbook. The camo would be called something along the lines of "Pit Viper" or "rattlesnake", with the gun taking a snakelike appearance with snake-eyes on the turret. the tank itself would be given a snakeskin texture, and a serpent covering the gun would recoil when fired, and/or spit venom. just a little idea that came up in my mind is all.

Another camo idea was for one of my favorite vehicles in the game, the Sturer Emil (please give this an HD render) which I knew was designed to be an anti-fortification gun, not necessarily a tank destroyer. I came up with a "Demolisher" camouflage in reference to the vehicles powerful gun. The concept was a tank covered in bit of rubble, with splinters of wood, chunks of concrete, and scraps of sheet metal evident on the tanks hull and superstructure. the gun was covered in black-and-yellow tape, with a small wrecking-ball decoration hanging on the end. The gun kicks up an ungodly amount of dust when firing, with the opacity of the haze dampened to 10-5% in sniper mode.
