It’s mainly due to doctrine. The US has very little need for a casemate TD to defend an area. Instead they were only defending breakthrough attempts, which required a faster TD to respond to the attempts, as such you get things like the Hellcat

My personal opinion is no, I’d rather play the tech tree ISU-152 than the ISU-130, it’s kinda mid all round. I say that but take it with a grain of salt as I don’t own it, I’ve only played it on a friend’s acc for a few battles. The FV is a solid tank with pretty fast fire rate and solid dpm. I think it would be more worth it if you wanted both of the tanks for sure. For me personally I think the FV is solid but ISU-130 is just outclassed by other tier 8 premium tds. I think there Su-130, skorpion and tvp 100 are better options

ISU 152 > 130 they’re basically the same tank but 152 has a much better gun only thing 130 has is that cool camo I wish I could put on other tanks but is exclusive to 130 for some reason

And FV201 if you get the BP’s this tank should be very easy to get for free it’s parts are usually the most common drop in the operation containers

This may be a weird choice, but amx 13/75. Its a hard tank to play but the insane mobility, small profile, and super fast clip dump make it deadly. If your enemies spam heavies its pretty easy to farm

dont focus on alpha damage because it leads you to either the worst tier 10, or a tier 10 that is very easy to use incorrectly

rather, go down the WZ-113G FT or Obj. 268 line

I’m trying to figure out which book would have more of the question mark conference stuff Patton or Abrams based on the descriptions

Because Abrams the description says talks about the whole idea of main battle tanks since its conception in the 50’s
Where the patton one mainly says Korean War and early Cold War (M46,47 and 48 Patton)

It was probably due to weight constraints that the Americans aren't too confident to push for larger calibre in the Shermans

Like the 76 M1 weights half a ton while the A-19 weights like ~7 tons

Even the Israelis M51's 105 were just 2 tons and a half

The SO-122 wouldn't last long in service if the Yugoslav mass produced them anyway, despite the US supplying them since the US nearly ditched all their tank research after the war ended
