If you used their special mobility equipment instead of the gun depression equipment they would probably more or less work but you obviously need to be okay with 6 degrees and play accordingly. Maybe the higher tier british heavies with their... acceptable mobility and super engine boost and high dpm guns would sort of work. Otherwise as stated, the 50B line but you need to like autoloaders. You could also approach it from the opposite end and go for heavier mediums like the E50M line I suppose.

The CC-64 is the best Italian TD if you use top single shot gun, the Mino is the next best one. None of the line can be considered OP, if you like frontal armour they are good. The 268 is fun, its quick for TD and it gets troll bounces, the tier 9 has one of if not hightest dpm tanks out there

Yea tiger II facing directly forward has like no weak spots not even a lower plate and the cupola is extremely flat and mostly just viewports

“But Premium ammo” yeah if you have to load premium ammo to maybe pen it frontally then the tank has really good armor most tanks have at least somewhere that’s a weak spot like a lower plate or cupola for standard ammunition

But a funny trick I have found is that tanks with good pen can sometimes get a troll hit by hitting it through the machine gun ball mount

I wondered when Ukrainian tanks would be introduced into the WoT blitz? For example, the beginning with level 5 T34 or T35, the sixth level T-34-85 is only slightly changed (because I still give examples of tanks from the Kharkiv plant), the seventh level can be put T-34-100 or a prototype of the T-44 tank, the T-44 itself is level 8, the T-54 itself can be put on the ninth level only for example with screens, and the T-64a tank can be put on the tenth level because this is its first version

they're very good, but like I said, most tanks have very little between them when it comes to standard pen, so it's hard to give any recommendations based on that.
Most of the heavies that have particularly good standard pen are premiums, like the T34 and VK90.

Super Conq is hull down beast. 777 is not, it only has 6° of depression. The 777 has much better dpm and hull armour and speed. It really comes down to where you wanna fight

The Action X and Super Conqueror both play hull down. The tanks look kinda similar, but thats where comparisons end. The Super Conqueror gets compared to the Chieftain MK6 mostly. The Mino line is good from tier 8-10. The tier 8 is best of the bunch with top single shot gun(TD). The E-4 is great option as well. For nice heavy lines the E-100 line and 60TP lines are nice from tier 7-10. The E-100 i enjoyed the most, i dont play any tanks till the have all top options mounted

I would argue that if they are not meta, its trending that way. A lot of the buffs to some of the tanks were clippers, hell last update they all start game fully loaded. For the longest time its been hull down, now its mobility and clipping. Tvp is giving the 183 run for its money for toxic

The only clippers with confirmed changes so far are T57 and Yoh, and 1 of them is a straight up nerf. And TVP is nowhere near as toxic as the 183. One of them is almost always camping and completely prevents anyone from making an aggressive play, which is needed for a healthy game. The other can yolo someone and deal 1240 damage, which typically comes at the cost of their own game, so it doesn't happen often.

We are still very clearly in a hull down meta, based on the highest winrate tanks and tanks used in competitive.

All this talk of autoloaders is just confirmation bias from the 5 out of 100 games where you got double yolod by T57s or TVPs, it really doesn't happen that often nor is it usually effective to play that way

It is toxic when they platoon. Platoon against them and you have a chance to win if they don't destroy all your meds and lights in less than a minute of the match.

I'm not talking about the current changes that are about to be implemented. 4005-50B and T57 had changes. Some say buff others nerf. The magazine load at start was great buff. And TVP toon happen frequently, not every game but id say 1 in 10. And you certainly get more clipper toons then before. Im not complaining as i have both types to play. But i certainly see mobility trying to enter game more now, and less hull down monster camping. But id say there certainly are more options now then say couple years ago. The last three new tier 10 tanks released Obj 777, Strv K, Carro 45, i wouldnt consider these traditional hull down tanks. Speed, dpm, clip

Collect them all containers are really bad. If you have to buy crates (which you shouldn’t) never sell a good premium like the E6 for them and wait for the Mega containers in the shop or online. They’re the best because they always give you gold, xp, and have higher chances to drop tanks. But again, don’t sell tanks to gamble.

long story short, I would rather play an OP vehicle that is less fun than some other tanks, providing it allows me the chance to carry a game from 3 or 4 tanks down to a victory. Tanks like the Obj. 268V4, super conq, etc.

if you wish to play stragetically, I would strongly advise tanks with a lot of gun depression or cammo. Either of those factors can net you a win. There are a lot of other factors that come into play, however I find cammo and / or gun depression are your best friends in a situation where you need to carry

see, as I said, I prefer the FV4202 to basically any other tier 10 atm. It drives like your typical medium, but due to the recent armour buff, it bounces way more shells than it should have any right to. That coupled with the fact that it is pumping out like 440 average damage per shot with HESH every 6.88 seconds just makes the thing insane

T95 is a lovely tank to play. One of my all time favourite tanks, simply due to the trollish nature of its armour. Nothing else compares to it at long range. So long as you don't show your underplate, anything over 200 meters is going to have basically no chance of going through

That's fair. I have always been into vehicles in general, military vehicles became of interest to me when I first found war films. I grew up getting gifted tank books and stuff, and for my 18th birthday I got to go to "tanksalot" on an experience day. Ended up winning the most points of the day and got to crush a van in the Chieftain that was used on screen in Fast and Furious 6

nothing compares to the power you feel when you're driving a tank. genuinely feels like you're unstoppable

what I will say, however, is after driving a tank irl, you realise quite how inaccurate the physics are in the vast majority of tank games

sounds good. Might take a while to get used to steering with levers instead of a wheel, but you'll figure it out. If the sherman is usually taken on the same sort of course with a majority being turning one direction, you may find that it pulls a bit. if you hold the opposite lever just slightly up, you can get it to go straight.

found that whilst I was driving one of the vehicles at tanksalot. pulled massively to the left, due to the fact that it had mainly been used on a course for left hand turns. Holding the right turn lever up just a tad counteracted the left hand pull and kept it straight as an arrow. would expect it probably put a bit of excess strain on the driveline though

The same thing happened to me with my favorite tank i didn’t realize they were in the show until later
The Pershing didn’t really have any memorable scene or was used by any some significant character they were just the “basic units” for one of the teams like NPC’s kinda

only the tier 10 is somewhat okay, rest of the line is just worse in comparison to LTs of the same tier, and even then, the 132-1 has lacking acceleration, and 230mm APCR pen as standard, all for best in class DPM and a mechanic that basically tells you when you are no longer spotted

like all they need to do is buff the terrain resistances, and its a true LT

grinding for the E5 is made complicated by the T32 stock grind, and the M103, but worth it, and it'll be buffed to a true heavium by 10.3.

M-6-Yoh's tech tree is muddled by the M7Y and stock M3Y, and the M5Y has an optional 120mm gun with 2 450 alpha shots and a 25s clip reload (pain), but worth since the M6Y is getting buffed as well

T57 is the only HT in the line, (T54E1 should be one too), go to it via the T49, since the T71 and T69 arent the best, since its burst isnt being nerfed, it is likely it'll stay strong still

ofc if you have money, buy the T95E6, its going to be (if not already) a true heavium, punchy gun, good mobility, and unlike the other two true heaviums (SK and Chief Mk.6), it has 340 HEAT pen

sorta and sorta not- the two British techtree heavies that actually do effective hulldown are the Caern and 215b (given the right situation for the latter due to its rear-mounted turret)
the Conq has a thinner turret, however, it can still hulldown, not just fully effectively due to the weaker turret armour

The prog has some upper hull armor on flat ground that could work at a ridge, plus a bit of armor around the gun so running more armor could be slightly effective on both tanks but not as effective as using it on a type 71or 60tp. @celest schooner either is good, but e5 is getting a good buff to make it more of a heavium so if you like e6 you’ll like e5, @urban bison get e50 if y haven’t already, then get is4/7
