“Un regionlocking” the credit camos would also be great for customization

That aside, I know for a fact that the Switch has a worse display than any flagship smartphone, or at least the base/OG one. They might have come up with an updated one more recently

The Switch is basically equivalent to an older phone now. Probably from like 2017? But you can optimize for it heavily and it has a fan for heat dissipation which helps with it running stuff. Sadly WG seems content to put only the bare minimum effort into the Switch version. The sensitivity settings even reset everytime I close the game lol. But it doesn't crash, controls fine, runs fine in battles mostly.

I don't have anything against controller in particular, in fact, I bought a PS5 controller just to make certain PC games easier. However, Nintendo switch is just a poor platform for blitz in most aspects; the argument lays outside the control type.

As I keep saying, it's a combination of being convenient and handheld like a phone, a more comfortable control type than mobile, and a larger screen with less UI clutter than most phones. It comes with compromises but the reasons why some people prefer it are not complicated and make it the best platform for them.

But I'm genuinely getting tire of having to repeat the reasons I and others play on Switch and also tired of the constantly implied criticism of those choosing to play on it.

Although in my case, I hate on the switch because I hate Nintendo. I would much rather put up with WG's crates and terrible balancing decisions than the stuff Nintendo cooks up.

As for hating Nintendo yeah that's fair, you do you. I'm not going to advocate for them or any other big company. My issue is purely with people consistently questioning or criticizing people for playing on Switch, even pushing for them to change platforms. It's tiring, annoying, and borders on toxic at times. E5 wins based on pure survivability. It has a pretty good armor profile, can use sandbags to get over 2.4K Hp, and has reactive. The 215b gets sandbags and reactive, but has nowhere near the armor profile the E5 does

There are plenty of valid complaints about the Switch version but yours is one that is literally solved in the settings.

I have never experienced anything like that. It basically plays like mobile but with physical controls and a less cluttered UI in battles. Having hopped between mobile and Switch before in the same day it's pretty apparent the Switch version is just a pretty low effort port of the mobile version and thus plays basically identically. The issues are mostly in the poor optimization leading to slow load times, some minor bugs like the sensitivity setting always resetting, and lower graphical quality than modern phones or PC. All valid criticisms and there are undoubtedly more to make. But yours is something I have just never experienced or seen other Switch users report.

T-22. I know it’s popular to hate on nowadays, and a lot of über unicums will swear by the 907, but T-22 is still the quintessential combat medium.

Invincible turret, troll hull, great DPM, and good enough mobility. Only weakness is poor gun depression, but you’re not playing a Soviet for gun depression

The funny part is a while after post war (after the IS-3 scare) when there wasn’t as much of an urgent need for tanks and they could experiment with all these weird new things like occelating turrets,autoloaders and other stuff
My favorite example of this is with the Yoh tank concepts that were a weird mash of all of these and yes the emergency track it has in the game was an actual feature it was planned to have

Why is the TVP considered broken when the FV4005 isn’t?

From Sherman to upgraded Sherman to Pershing to pattons

Actually now that I think about it I can play mediums really well just not at tier 9 and 10 that’s just a purely heavy and high damage TD dominated tier

Tiger P's armor is super tough on much of the front but has a vulnerable lower plate and some other smaller flaws. Tiger 1 has a uniform thickness including a bizarrely thick lower plate that make its protection more consistent and reliable imo.

You need to hit the lower part of the cupola though, as the top is too angled to let the HESH penetrate

@dreamy osprey So basically the mechanic would be called "Rotary Autoloader" which will have two toggled modes:

Cyclic - Each shell is loaded individually, but the tank cannot fire until 50% of the shells are loaded, and the tank must reload again after firing, and this is practically an autoreloader until you enter

Autoloading - The tank will be able to fire any remaining shells in rapid succession, but will not allow for reloading. Emptying the reserve will return the tank to cyclic mode.

The key difference from a normal autoreloader is the requirement that 50% of the shells must be loaded before this tank can fire, and if it fires them all, it has to be an autoloader, unable to fire until the 50% threshold is reached again.

So you can play like a cyclic, but like an autoreloader, you can save up shells by not firing. Then you can magdump at the expense of the time it would take to reach 50% shell capacity again

The biggest thing though, is that this will be for TDs only with low caliber shells, and the turret it will be in will have to reset to a certain angle (let's say the available loading angle is 10°/10° in order to load shells, forcing the player to play with a severely limited turret in order to stock up on damage or recover enough shells to fire again

Well, I say that, though the tank can enter autoloading mode before 50% is reached, and fire off that clip at the expense of being able to load any shells. You have to commit to one of the two methods of firing

To switch to autoloading mode, fire, then fire before the cyclic reloading can finish. This will stop the tank from reloading until you dump the reserve shells.

I think it serves as a nice way to introduce the line, though. The lower tier TDs of the line will lack turrets, and operate on the system and be able to load shells constantly in cyclic mode, with no reset needed. Higher tiers of the line will get turrets that allow for more dynamic marksmanship, but care needs to be taken for resetting the turret to let shells get loaded.

Favorite tier 9 in the game is T95 it’s one of my top 10 favorite tanks and is fun to play

But I dunno T30 is really close now that it got buffed it has way more HP than T95
They have nearly the same cannon but T30 has a turret and HP but not much armor where T95 has impenetrable front armor (but has cupolas) and doesn’t have a turret
