highly don't recommend the 114, tier for tier its mediocre. On paper armour is good, in reality weak spots and fairly flat plates make it a easy pen. Maneuverability isn't horrible, but far from good. Best thing is the gun, high alpha and surprisingly good for snapping off shots. With that being said theres plenty of better options, many of which are free. Most tech tree tier 9 heavies would easily beat 114 out.

Ofc that is my opinion, im sure some people like it and find it works well for them, for me it was a pretty big let down.

I wouldn’t depend on the gun most of the time for sniping imo. Don’t get me wrong though the guns very good but it’s dispersion when you move is horrendously atrocious and honestly should be slightly lowered, not removed lowered. It’s DPM is tied with that of the King of DPM in tier 10 the obj 263 (3,856 W rammer/3,586 W cali) so you can out trade basically every opponent you face most of the time. It’s armor is great and paired with the 10° of gun depression it has it can get away with shots you wouldn’t be able to hit in the 263. And ever since it’s traverse buff in 9.1 I believe, it is a great brawler Td you just have to make sure you wiggle hard when doing so and you don’t usually have to worry abt getting hit in the sides too with them being 152mm, but keep in mind your rear is awful so don’t let enemies hit your rear bc you can and will get HE’d. I don’t know if I was any help or this has any use to you or anyone but ya that’s about it.

Why:

T57 is a very good Heavy Tank. And fun to play.
Sheridan is (in my opinion) one of the best Light tanks if you know how to play it properly.
Very few tanks are as annoying enemies like Sheridans. Popping up, 600 damage to you and disappear again.

If you want medium tank I would personally focus on other tanks than the M48. But again it's a matter of taste.
I like the Leopard 1 and TVP T 50/51 as mediums more than the M48. But it's subjective as I said.

It's not that they "took" the design from the Germans

It was mostly done to shorten the gun overhang of the vehicle, requiring less space to move around. Also to not offset the vehicle's weight into the front due to the heavy gun barrel.

It actually runs fine. The low oxygen levels of the bog entombed the tank and kept it perfectly intact. They didn't need any spare parts to get it to run, so they restored it and cleaned it up and it runs great.

It's quite a story. They really tried to get it out, lots of people pulled on it with a rope. They didn't have enough manpower and nothing worked, so a bulldozer drove through the forest to help pull it out and they were still having trouble.

Everybody started bringing their vehicles and machinery to help pull it out, and they finally got it out. I wonder if there's anything they could do with that story.
A boy is the one who found it and when he discovered ammunition inside the tank he was quickly snatched away from the tank by his mother.

I think they should take a special interest in this story and make a little mini event telling the story about how this tank was found, how everybody in town helped pull it out, and the boy who found it. It would be a great little story to tell in the game.

Sounds like a hell of a job though. I can't even imagine what it was like to clean all the mud off and out of that thing, every tiny little nook and cranny. That must have taken a long time.

I remember cleaning tons of ice and snow and mud off of my VW golf years ago after driving around in a really bad snow storm. I thought that was a pain in the butt. I can only imagine what it was like cleaning a t34 after it sat buried in a bog for 60 years.

And it was all up inside the suspension and drivetrain. Total freaking mess. Took me hours.

Then if you can see if you can drive àn AMX-30b, they are very hard to drive with the gear shifting timing, but if you can get those reverse gears to work the tank feels amazing to drive. 66kph in reverse is crazy tbh.

Lol, sorry I can't help it. It's just my personality. I'm not a dangerous driver, but I am a performance driver. I read a lot of guides, watched a lot of tutorials, grew up playing rally games.... It's just something that I feel extremely connected to.

Speaking of shifting... tanks are actually hilariously easy to drift. If you take the Rubber padding off of AMX-30 it's hard not too.
