And why are they removing tier 6 premiums there’s literally hardly any
especially separate original tanks (already excluding BP tanks still most tier 6 premiums are just reskins like T-34 victory, Bretagne, Tiger 131, fury (which they’re moving too)
Also Pawlack was the only tier 6 US premium tank not counting fury which is just a reskin

Churchill and Pawlack are the only ones they added in recent years

Check these screen shots out, pic on the left - the tank is far sharper to look at, the box on the back of the turret is clearer. The numbers and letters easier to read. The lighting in Blitz is far superior to Reforged, which still looks like a cartoon version, it’s like Blitz was 7 or 8 years ago.

The last time I saw anything on it, quite a while back, it appeared to be WG’s intention to start all our premium certificates when Reforged is launched. But there was a lot of criticism of that position so I’m hoping they’ve listened and won’t do it.

Totally agree. I’ve just seen the Blitz Post post and I’d like to know if he’s got a recent source for what he’s saying. I’ll be very unhappy if WG unilaterally start my premium time, even if they double it. I have multiple accounts and therefore like to use the premium time I’ve saved up as when I want to use it, not when WG tell me to use it. That attitude will go down like a 💩 in the pool.

I’ve discovered in the current test that half the buttons in missions/battle pass don’t work properly, keep pressing them because I’ve completed missions and they don’t respond. Overall I’m seriously unimpressed by this supposed ‘final’ version test before launch.
I can say that there’s absolutely nothing that I like about Reforged, zero. If this is how it is on 17 June I won’t be playing it.

That’s exactly right. In Reforged, it’s not just in the hangar that you see a blurry image; it’s also evident in the battles. The blurring is very noticeable there. Not only is the image blurry, but it also uses up a lot of your PC’s resources. WoT PC has much better graphics, and it uses fewer resources on my PC than Reforged does.

It’s quite a fun tier 6 heavy, it’s called A200_M_67_Y and has decent turret armour and a 225 alpha gun with an 8.8 second reload (using calibrated). It’s fairly mobile.
There is a P26/40 tier 6 heavy on the Rino line.

Some tanks, like the Object 244, have gone fully through testing but have sat for months, waiting for the right time for them to be released. I thought the Object 244 had been forgotten but a time came when a new tank was needed and there it was, ready for release.

I was thinking maybe Wargaming could, in addition, also let players Test Drive for free by entering a bot-only room (allies and enemies) or a solo-only room. No costs or other effect to player accounts during free test drives. Players won't be able to interact with other players during free test drives.

Why? Normally I earns up to 100k + credits in current blitz but reforge big boss is 87k credits.
There’s definitely not right with the credits earning in reforge update, more can be done by improving the earnings for modes.

Im worried about the usage of credits to purchase upgrades for tanks. Credits are also used to buy equipment and premium ammo and tanks, i could see a problem with progression as it stretches a single currency to its limit.

Rn progression is based off credits and exp, which spreads the cost of progression across 2 currencies. This makes progression a bit faster compared to reforged, which puts all costs on a single currency.

From what i see in screenshots from reforged the game is gearing towards younger players and likely lower attention spans (saturated colors, shorter instructions, etc). If wg wants to attract and keep players they have to do something to keep kids attention spans focused, but when those kids find progression frustrating they might find something else to play.

• “Improved visual quality is a lie for 90% of devices playing this game, I’ve tested it on maximum graphics and my devices are capable of it and the optimisation is abysmal, they are not “improved” in the way they’re made out to be as well as just looking at them, eyes generally don’t lie.

• Why do we need tank ‘hints’?

• the reasoning for module upgrades being silver based and not free xp based is weak, there’s nothing wrong with the xp system and tanks should be balanced properly like they used to be in stock setups as well as their maximum setups, this is just lazy and removes a good element of the game that just needed propers attention payed to it.

• “A new reason to play low tiers” - this is such lazy reasoning, completely removing them from the game in massive droves back in 2018 to sell them back to us as collector vehicles in battle passes was the main reason the low tiers died, then they were neglected, I’m all for a rebalance, but don’t sell us fixes to mistakes or purposeful choices you as a company made in the past as “new” or “better”. All you need to do is reintroduce them and adjust the balance, they don’t need to become ‘vintage tanks’. - this plays into the sets issue too, sets need to go.

• Test drive needs adjustment, it should not go into the random queue, it should be in an isolated queue or it should be matched against bots. Do not make them play in random battles. Test drives are like training rooms, not for real battle. This will damage the matchmaking and overall random queue experience.

So if you sold a premium tank, it'll still show the credit restoration price.

If you sold a collector, it will show the gold restoration price.

BUT, if a tank got up-tiered, and you sold that tank before it got up-tiered, Reforged shows the up-tiered restoration price.

What I mean is that, let's say you sold the T-2020 before it got up-tiered right? It shows 7,5k gold right now in the restoration tab even though it became tier 9.

But in Reforged, it shows the tier 9 restoration price, which is 10k gold.

Though this is for UT5-1, it is unknown if they will fix this or not.

Just go through them see which ones you know you like, the ones you’re unsure about like you may want to keep for collection or you rarely play but still use, and the ones you have no intention of playing
Keep the ones you’re unsure about and sell only the ones you know you won’t play, or the ones that feel unnecessary or pointless because it’s almost the same tank as a tech tree and there’s no reason to keep the collector if you prefer the tech tree

Like I sold 121b it’s a very generic T-54ish tank that I didn’t see any reason in keeping, I have T-55 which I play very often and I also have WZ-121 the tech tree one

Bad. No way of assessing whether you’re any good or improving, getting worse. Completely removes the individual competitive aspect of each tank. Fine if you’re a bad player and don’t want to know, so make it optional to see it, have an on/off toggle. But for anyone who is competitive the loss of individual tank win rates will be a source of irritation.

Does anyone know how the pinning function works in Reforged or is that yet another thing they haven’t bothered to develop properly?
I’m trying to pin tanks from different nations and sets so I can see them (the ones I want to pin) in the line up at the bottom of the garage page. Managed to pin one tank but now it won’t let me pin anything else?

Reforged is a perfect example of taking something that works perfectly, changing it for the sake of it and making a complete pigs breakfast out of it. It’s so utterly frustrating.

Pinning works fine for me, I just checked. You use the dedicated pin button now.

I prefer it this way because for so many years now, Blitz has had this slightly annoying thing of when you tap on a tank in your garage to view it, it auto pins it for no reason (on mobile at least). At least in Reforged that doesn’t happen anymore

@silk olive @wheat grove I checked on your question about the restoration price for tanks that have already been moved to a higher tier, such as the KPZ 70. If they have already been moved to the higher tier, the higher tier restoration price is the correct one for Reforged.

I see in the VRT Cost Table that the KPZ is stil listed as a tier 9, and the table hasn't been updated to the current tier and amount. That appears to just be a chart that is out of date, but if you can still manage to restore the KPZ at that price, do so.

That would be my general advice anyway, if you can restore a tank now go ahead and do it.

I think that they would lose their previous collector profitability. You'll be restoring them to whatever the current status is on everything else, why not that one too? All I've seen is that if you already have the collector the profitability won't change. If you don't have it and get it, the profitability will be lower. You have to have the tank in your garage.

Bug: (probably already detected). On WOT Reforged PC I've seen that the auto-zooming is disabled by default (in the UI), but it is inverted, it is enabled in reality. If I enable it in the UI, it disables the feature in game. Hope it helps.

Some of the ideas for upcoming reforged update.

1. A tab for all existing and camos that existed with descriptions to how unlock them:
   I realised that there are certain camos you can unlock by playing but nowhere to find of how to actually obtain them.

2. After 3 rapid command spams to be muted for a couple of second:
   Some players constantly spam it and be annoying.

3. Ability for shells to go through more objects depending on shell caliber. such as house corners, walls poles etc.

4. Being able to put couple of owned tanks as a display cosmetic in your garage.

5. After jumping on enemies tank for damage to be reduced for the player that is on top of other tank:
   It doesn't really make sense for both parties to receive same damage.

6. Increase tank HP so the games would last longer:
   In todays meta its very common for games to last only ~2minutes.

7. Shell to leave craters different size craters depending on where they hit and a caliber. +A particle effects would look nice.

8. Add more cosmetics such a attachments:
   People really get hooked up on such things and willing to spend more money on it. Also would be nice to be able put multiple of attachments on single tank wherever you want. Maybe even make different attachments being suitable only for hull and other ones for turrets. The legendary camos for tanks are great but should be rarer cosmetic than other ones. Cosmetics and being able to change look on your tank is always gonna be a good addition to the game. Everyone wants having freedom to make their tanks to look different then others.

9. Ammorack effects should be more dramatic. Best to look up when tanks explode in real life.

10. Add some weather variety on maps. Like dust storms on dessert maps, rain, stormy rain with lightnings. Different timeframes like morning, noon, afternoon maybe even implement night times somehow.

11. Tanks getting dirtier with time depending on map:
    Like puddles, mud puddles, dust etc.
    The effects could be disabled in settings.

12. Visible damage on tank like dents and scratches where tank got hit with. With less HP tank should look worn down and smoky. It would give more realism to the game without ruining fun factor.
    The effects could be disabled in settings.

13. The values of damage taken of a tank after penetrating shot shouldn't be so much RNG based. Like if you shoot a tank in its engine from the back of the tank there should be way higher chance to roll bigger amount of damage dealt. Don't remove RNG factor at all but just change the % of it depending on weak points and the ammount of armour.
    It's just really dissapointing when you get behind a tank shooting him in a engine deck, turret weakest points and my shells low roll. It just really feels off.

14. MM is really bad now. Its very unenjoyable to play against 6 tank destroyers or 6 medium/light tanks. MM should consist min of 6-8 heavy tanks, 1-2 medium/light tank or 1-2 tank destroyers. Automatically games would last longer just with this change but increasing all tanks ammount of health is also a needed change in my opinion.

15. The light/medium tanks have too much pen values.

16. Maybe some testing considering manual shell drop from various distances aiming.

We don't need more HP on tanks. Games back then lasted longer because every tank was straight up slower, and each action you do can be punished very heavily (consumables didn't have a cooldown back then and single-use, only multi-purpose kit had cooldown and multiple uses. Ever since consumables were given a cooldown and reusage, players became more yolo-ish and doing more brave plays. Exfoliated more by unbalanced tanks and the playerbase that grew up with reusable consumables). A punishing game forces players to learn to do better imo

So uh, what to say. I started reforged test like 10 min ago.

I play on an IPad Pro 2022 with an M2 chip and I am having round about 80 fps or even less.

Not to forget I started the game with 62% and finished it with 56% battery. 💪 IPad is extremely hot even after one round.

So all in all, I did 2 games and went from 62% to 51%. Means round about 5% battery loss each round, so with a full loaded iPad one can play 20 games then it needs to be fully recharged.

Also I came across the new „ramming“ feature. When u ram a lt 100 in a Sheridan I deal 100 dmg and I get 200 in return. I didn’t kill him.

Yet if I ram full speed a oneshot obj140, I deal 200 and don’t get any in return bcs he died. Sounds legit to me.

Also found this bug in the menu already. Can’t read the sentence.

And if my setup can’t, then I wonder what the actual requirements are in order to play the game as you want. First is a little bug and second is a VERY VERY BIG problem.

1. There is no opportunity to swipe down and because of this problem I can't see the whole text.

It looks like when WG kept the test running they gave an option for more battles and a bigger reward. When they've done that before the rewards didn't stack; you only got the best reward you qualified for.

@noble sand @shut marlin This was a limited, closed test. They are designed to collect data from a smaller group of people; that's all that is needed to check on whether the target areas are working well. Once the number of people needed is reached the test group is closed.

I haven't checked, but it looks like the group that was selected was giving some good data for the dev's to analyze. There's also a sweet spot of 20-25 battles per person that WG can use to test other things, and it looks like the selected group worked out well enough to extend the test and add a new reward for reaching that sweet spot. (Wargaming has done that before with other tests).

Having a larger group test, giving players a chance to have some fun and see what all the new stuff is like are also good things. Wargaming always planned on one more larger group before the release. That's turned out to be the Preview Weekend, when almost everyone can join in.

Please be patient. I'm trying to be patient too. We will both get our chance very soon.

Removing provisions took away part of the identity and diversity of builds in Blitz. Many tanks stood out because players could fine-tune mobility, gun handling, and playstyle through those choices. Now, some of those bonuses directly compete with equipment slots, making builds feel more limited.
I understand the goal was to simplify the system and reduce credit costs, but a better solution would be adding a separate row with 6 slots based on the old provisions system, without taking equipment space. To avoid overwhelming new players, this row could only unlock after fully upgrading the tank, with all modules researched and equipment purchased. Gradually introducing mechanics makes the system easier to learn without removing depth.

the most noticable being the t5 leopard (up to 87 traverse in current, around 50 in reforged) and the ru251 (mentioned above)
this is just off of memory too, im 100% sure there are more tanks that could be mentioned

I mostly play on mobile and i reallyd like to see the same devise performance in reforged comparing to current client, cuz even if i set the lowest graphics possible in reforged my phone overheats soo hard (i got decent processor from 2024 and the only game that overheats is reforged). I really wanna know that its only the matter of test client that can't be optimized normally, but all i need to know is developer team would optimize everything and transfer EVERYTHING to reforged as yall said. I do really want to have smooth graphics and dont wanna play with blur on lowest quality and got overheat problems...

ive checked a few tanks in blitz vs reforged with the help of a friend to cross-reference some numbers across versions, with some parameters.
current blitz: (no provisions, fully equipped) vs same tanks in reforged (fully equipped)

i have noticed that every light tank at all tiers (t10 included) have gotten a traverse nerf of at least 10. most lights have received a nerf of 15-20, going as high as 37 in the case of the t5 leopard, which is almost half of its traverse speed.

I am 100% sure that nerfing the speed of the tank class that relys solely on speed and camouflage to survive would make this tank class much, much harder to play. this is without mentioning that lights are already the hardest tank class to play, and that lights are some of the tanks that receive the biggest penalty to the removal of provisions, which have already caused lights to become significantly slower than current blitz.

Hello, I've got a question about tanks restoration prices in Reforged. We've been informed that players will receive a restoration certificate with 2x the price of what you get for selling a tank. But what about players that sold their tanks when selling/buying was a 1:1 ratio? Will they also have to pay double? I'm asking because I have T55A that I can restore for the "old" price of 5K gold.

The kpz-70 missile and Sheridan missile will stay with you when the reforge update happens. All tanks will stay in your garage with little changes here and there, but none of the tanks are getting removed. The two missile tanks will still only be able to use in fun game modes like before.

The things make the switch not so good as other platforms is -
No game chat (other than Nintendo gamechat on switch 2).
No commands usable or visible.
No map highlights or ability to highlight when docked.
Slow aim speed.
Replays available.

The joysticks have click function which has no allocation so could be used

Also you can have it docked and use a gaming mouse for aim, in fact the joy cons that come with the console are also mice which can be detached anytime mouse is required on other games.
Plus I use a keyboard also in wotb clan chat, even on the switch one.

The switch one is still similar performance to many touch devices, the ones that are often afk in games because using mobile internet, and the switch 2 is better than most touch devices.

I've just said, switch 2 has better performance than most touch devices.
And compared to pc players I can't imagine there'd be a noticeable difference competitively.
Sure someone could be playing at higher resolution and FPS but it wouldn't give any real benefit, maybe slightly in a top tournament but that's a minute percent of games played.
