Why is there a wrong way to play a fun gamemode?
it's a game mode for a reason, you're not supposed to take it seriously, so why are we trying to enforce a certain kind of gameplay on people?

Doesn't wargaming ban people who try to enforce their own set rules of "how to play the game" when they push other people out of positions or insult them on the team chat?
Don't you feel like this question implies the same thing? Going after meadsy because he shows the kind of gameplay you don't like?
I'd understand if it was actually breaking the rules of the game, but realistically who is going to care that someone is camping in the corner in a fun mode?
And also, if you are mad at someone who camps in the corner, after your tank gets destroyed you can personally go and pay a visit to said camper and deal with him personally, so it's not like your time is wasted by having to watch him sit in one position for the rest of the game.

There are only examples given to get a general idea, but there isn't a clear definition given by wargaming in this section of the EULA.

You could call this "passive play", but what's the definition of that?
It's mentioned once in the EULA with no explanation to the term, so for all I know "passive play" could mean not shooting at all, or it could mean that I can't go 1 second without looking like I'm not playing the game.

The thing is that in randoms, there’s multiple ways to win the game. In this mode, the only way to win the game as a survivor is to cap.
I’m not looking to rehash this whole thing again, it’s been said and repeated, repeatedly, and I understand it’s not something we’ll agree on.
I still stand by our call, and am not going back on it. It is not fair play when you abandon your team and don’t even try to actually win the game.
We’ve clarified the rules more for comp 3 and 4, and comp 4 even got an extra rule, and made it more clear what is expected. That will have to be enough.
And fairly sure that we’ll be spelling things out more in any future competition we may hold, regardless of mode, but especially for this mode, to avoid this all happening again.

And after reading it and sending pictures of what Wargaming themselves state in the EULA - I came to the conclusion that you have no way of proving that said "fair play" sections of the EULA are being violated, because there is no set definitions for the terms you use to police people's behaviour here.
If they were defined - as in have a clear explanation of how and where it applies - I would not be arguing with you.

You can get reported and banned in gravity mode for just flying around or climbing and not trying to actually play the game and win. You can get reported and banned in any mode for completely yolo-ing and getting blown up almost instantly, because you’re not trying to actually play the game and win. Those are just two examples, but you get my point.
The rules of the game apply to any gamemode, fun or regular or ratings. In funmodes, people are just less likely to report you. But that doesn’t mean it can’t happen or that the game rules suddenly don’t apply.
You can’t expect us, on the official server here, to reward and promote similar gameplay, where the player is clearly not trying to win the game

That being said, I’m all for EULA being more extensive and covering more detailed ground, but I think that they kept it vague on purpose so it applies to a lot more situations and not just very specific ones

As said before, we’ve specified the expectations more clearly in an amendment for the remaining comps, and comp 4 has an extra rule. Future comps will be spelled out more too. The actions in your examples (flying, instant suicide) are first impression evidence of not trying to win. They are observable, reportable offenses because the action itself is the violation.

In our case, the action itself which is dealing damage from a different position is a core, legitimate mechanic of the game. You cannot ban a player for using the core mechanics of moving, aiming, and shooting, even if you disagree with their positioning.

You are asking us to accept that dealing the maximum possible damage in a damage-based competition is the moral equivalent of going AFK. That is an absurd standard.

Your final point proves our case for us: 'They kept it vague on purpose.' You are admitting the EULA is a vague document. And you are using that vagueness not as a shield to protect the community from genuine harm, but as a way to punish a strategy you personally dislike.

You are not rewarding and promoting a specific gameplay style if you accept this . You are promoting the principle that your competitions are judged by their written rules.

You are right about the thing that this strategy creates a negative experience for the zombie team. I understand why, from a community health perspective, you would want to discourage it. Completely clear on that.

But also:

You have to realize this is a competition, it was designed with a single goal: "Highest Damage" There were no additional stuff like "while actively trying to cap" or "in a winning match". The most effective way to win the prize was against the intended experience of the game mode. That is a failure of the design of the competition.

We are not being disingenuous. Punishing players for logically engaging with the competition that is built, then scapegoating us for the negative side effects of poorly aligned incentives.

The truly "selfish" thing is to design a flawed competition, watch players engage with it as designed, and then punish them to cover for your own mistake for the design of the competition and it's rules, all while claiming the moral high ground.

Don't want this outcome? The solution is simple, design better competitions. Align the competition's goal with the game mode's goal. Do that after you realize the competition is flawed. Don't blame or punish the players for someone's failure to do that in the first place before
acknowledging that, that isn't their mistake.

This makes the situation simply unfair for everyone who isn't a mind-reader. You simply can't expect me think this is fair when the disqualification reason is "i don't like the way you play, don't wanna promote it, that's a no no". If they are going to argue about this they should stop mentioning the EULA and clearly tell us that they have the last word and they don't care about written rules so we can stop the ongoing discussion, to this point they simply haven't done that, instead they constantly mentioned EULA and game rules.

Only thing you could do to “lure” more people for competition 6 would be to allow toons where one player can have below 5500 random games and the other has to have above 5500 games (i believe in that case you are not allowed to get noob MM games - and here please someone confirm this as i am not 100% sure about it)

Not to be bum for this as an Artist but I'm really anticipating to participate the 1st Competition of drawing Tanks in Christmas fashion
but seeing the rules Handmade drawings only and Digital artist are not eligible to participate this one is disappointing

I know this art drawing competition is to prevent AI generated content but Digital works is the right submissions for this one in all honestly,
back in 2022 this is my entry on this server's December's Art Contest and I had more creative freedom doing this without being limited by
drawing on pencil and paper,

Since this still newly posted I hope if the rule can still be changed to allow Digital submissions, if not then that's unfortunate
so my only suggestion that's apart from limiting the participants to hand drawn submissions, I suggest Handcrafted submissions (Papercraft or any creative forms) can be submitted like a Winter papercraft tank diorama or heck if someone manages to make a Gingerbread tank like my 2022 Submission I'd be amazed

I understand your frustration but I’m not willing to change this to allow digital art. AI has gotten better and better and it can be hard to distinguish. Seeing some of the stuff in other art comps that do allow it, I really do think some of them have been AI., but it’s getting harder to prove or figure out - minus fingers and tracks. Plus hand drawn often gets overlooked in those comps because stuff can look “neater” if digital. So I feel this is fair as it’s the only one this year that is going for hand drawn.
I am more than happy to allow handcrafted, but will need to have a think on how to set that up in the rules to make sure it doesn’t take away the spirit of what I want it to be (like, actually handmade stuff) 🤔

I really like most tanks in that image, to be honest. The Sherman Jumbo is one of my favorites at Tier 6; it has amazing armor. You can't go wrong with an Eraser or T150 either; both have high damage and pretty good armor. (The T150 has more, especially at the sides, but is slower.) The Rudy is a very fun tank, but not the easiest to play. As you said, it has weak armor with good mobility and a fun pew-pew gun. The same goes for the Ox and Spark, by the way. I personally don't have the most fun in the CS52. I think the gun is very derpy, the armor isn't all that great, and flexibility is a little lacking. The T28 Concept is a great tank to defeat newer players. It has a great gun, good armor, but a weak spot on both sides. It also doesn't have much gun depression.

I think generally the list of tanks we can give away is a good mixture
