The problem i have with these one pice outfits is that they dont bother to add these items separate to the store with it. Those gloves, chest piece and of course the helmet, without the mesh, would be great pieces to mix and match with. For some reason they choose not to. There are the usual limitations as to why they cant make something like that separate to work the way its designed, alot of good elements go to waste because theyre only available on one outfit.

sometimes it's possible- sometimes not, depends on how the artist has made the asset. In uniforms the vest is often "molded" into the piece under it for optimization purposes. Aand it would add onto the artists time to create identical version for uniform and not.
Yet, it doesn't put aside question of things like helmets and gloves, so that's a good critique overall

What's funny is with this new bundle, and the helmet with the NVGs, 2 masks already exist in this game with animated NVGs. And those are separate pieces. They probably could've easily left the helmet separately, considering the mesh is still technically a mask. I personally don't believe that the new helmet with the NVGs couldn't be separate from the outfit itself bc otherwise, the 2 other NVG masks wouldn't exist as singular pieces

I think the issue would lie with the physics-based camo net and the ensuing clipping issues it would have, not the night vision.
If it were just the helmet and nods I don't see any reason why it couldn't be a hat/mask.
