You're mostly right, the "Hunters" that are watching you are commonly known as "Stalkers" and do no damage, flee once you approach/do damage, and drop no loot.

you boosted, thats why. Boosting a character gives them all the points for the base 3 specs that were in the game at launch. As Rivs said, Firewall, Gunner, and Technician were released in mini updates later on, part of the year 1 pass.

If you dont own the year 1 pass you'll have to do the unlock sequence for it, but if you do, you can get points from the get-go by doing bounties, leveling up, and doing the weekly invaded missions.

the game runs prety bad in borderless, but you can just use full screen, it functions as just most games have their borderless as but without many of the performance penalties , for example you can press esc and move you mouse to a second screen and click there without the game minimizing to taskbar as most games do in fullscreen, and you can even alt tab without it minimizing

ive noticed for the dps build on the spreadsheet that they recommened foxes knees but besides the rifle dmg what is their purpose over another item?

It's the 8% damage to enemies outside of cover bonus that really takes the cake for many DPS builds. But Fox's isn't a silver bullet.

Perfect for rifle builds. But non-rifle builds surely benefit from the DTOOC bonus despite missing out on the gear bonus itself.

Depends how far you are in expertise. My suggestion is to blanket farm all weapons first- as in target a weapon type and just keep donating until you have all the ones that can drop completed. Can easily hit expertise level 10 just by doing this BTW.

After that I think wearing the gearsets/using the skills and then targeting mods is better. You can also farm the gearset pieces but tbh that takes too long with just donations

in general:

• fog of war is pretty easy to work around; you just have to use your eyeballs and look for enemies instead of just relying on the directional indicator
• no regen is also pretty easy to work around; you don't usually regenerate armor in combat, anyway, and, between fights, if you're low on armor kits, the game will start dropping them for you
• hard to earn is hit or miss; it depends on your playstyle, and whether or not you do things that fill the special ammo bar really quickly.
• ragers is usually pretty easy to deal with; the extra HP that enemies get isn't that much, in the grand scheme of things
• ammo hoarders isn't especially popular, as most people tend to spam reload after killing an enemy to make sure they have enough for the next enemy, so dropping the rest of the clip from a reload makes people angy (as does the reduced ammo cap).
• pistolero is definitely a way to annoy people, because nobody uses pistols in combat unless they're absolutely forced to
• scavenged skills, in theory, can lead to super-short cooldowns on skills. but most people don't really like having to run around to pick up the parts, and, if you're engaging at long range, you don't really want to have to get out of cover to go pick up the parts.
• i don't think most people like cool skills, frankly. not being able to simultaneously use skills irks a lot of people.
• don't use fragile armor, ever. people run around like madmen and build up stacks of broken armor that bring down their armor total, and applying an armor kit to remove a stack doesn't work half the time.
• special ammo is fine, unless you're running a skill build and encounter black tusk. having a heavy gunner with special ammo really sucks to deal with.

cool skill is bad if you use reviver hive with a disposable skill

yeah, anything with an annoyingly long cooldown (and for something with as much utility as the reviver hive) doesn't do well with cool skills

also makes it harder to switch loadouts when you're waiting for minutes on end for your reviver hive or chem launcher to fill all the way back up

also worth noting: hard to earn locks you out of opening armor kit boxes, and pistolero locks you out of being able to open ammo restock boxes

world tiers don't exist at level 40, they're from the pre-dlc endgame. At level 40, you'd want to focus on building up your recalibration library, gaining proficiencies/expertise, levelling up your new watch, etc

I'd suggest checking the season menu and turning on the 'guardians' event, which will give you something to focus on, and also checking out the daily & weekly projects, etc. You'll also want to run some level 3 or 4 control points to build your blueprint library, and also max out your specialization points. either set your world difficulty to challenging (level 3) or heroic (level 4) or do the small tasks (eg propaganda broadcasts, territory controls etc) that have lines connecting them to control points, which will push them up a level

you may want to put together a half-decent build before going to Heroic though, it's much tougher than Challenging or lower difficulties

i think that means you can redo the old manhunt missions to receive the skills, such as the camp white oak one and the roosevelt one ( i forgot the others). you can access them when hovering the mission and toggling mission mode

Look at the bonuses they give and how they relate to your play style …

Sets give bonuses…for example 3 pieces of “walker harris” give all 3 of those bonuses or 4 pieces “hunters fury” give those 4 bonuses….

You can also mix and match if you only need a single bonus from that piece….example being “damage to target out of cover” from “foxes prayer” knee pads

Play style and combat situations make all the difference in how you build…

There is no right or wrong, only what works better for YOU

For the most part there are 3 types of builds and those branch off into a myriad of options…DPS, SKILL and TANK….SKILL builds can be very versatile primarily dps and healers….

Try everything and experiment….

How do we actually play those Manhunt target missions from the season pass reward?
Do we just need to play Tidal Basin in this case?

When you have Tidal Basin open on your map, change the mission mode. Not sure how it's done on PC since I'm an Xbox player (press and hold Y in my case) but you can toggle between the invaded and the manhunt mission when you have Hornet's manhunt available

the clue is damaging skill actually there is a "or" there since the patch, but they removed the in sync triggering from skill deployment as it did before (for example it triggered when you swapped to a foam chem), so its basicly just a wrong description, to my current knowledge its only damaging an enemy with a skill that triggers the skill part

set your world to normal, get a pretty tanky build, single out a gaurdian, preferably a red (for purple or yellows you have to shoot them a bit to get the health down), foam them in place with the foam chem, and grenade them with the concussion grenade (the basic grenade, it does allot more dmg)

also for some global events you can use the grenade launcher for grenade kills, but not this global event, so just for in the future, always check if the grenade launcher works first as that is much easier

i just did the friend refferal program with my friend but i see no rewards in my inventory, is it took a long time for the item to appear in inventory or you need to do something beside playing 3 mission for the rewards to appear?
