Eclipse Protocol gearset is a pretty easy way of getting bleeds, playing True Sons activities on Heroic will help with the Elites.
I'm sure there are more efficient ways, but that's the general gist of it.

@solar trellis Linked Laser Pointer is locked to the "Technician" Spec Tree, so you'll need to activate that and buy the associated weapon to use it on stuff.

• Always loot as junk
• when I go back I always check the item, if it's good I remove the junk tag
• go to recalibration library to donate it if available
• donate proficiency if u wanted to in expertise (not really recommend if u are newbie)
• if u are poor, sell it. if u are not poor (yet), deconstruct it

Hey there folks, so I got a few of my fave items up to proficiency level 10, and spent materials to give them each a level or two of expertise. When does this whole proficiency level 11 to 20 thing come into play?

proficiency caps at level 10 and unlocks the option to boost your item specific stat upto your expertise level (which is your total level based on amount of proficiency level 10 items you have)

theres a helpful in game guide on it: expertise menu > hotkey shown at bottom "expertise tutorial" or you can watch a youtube video on the system.

you can freely leave summit and or change the difficulty and still keep the highest floor checkpoint you are are (100 in this case). you only reset floor progress when you beat the entire thing or manually reset it viva the menu. also #lfg-playstation for group finding.

If you look at the crafting table, it’ll tell you where to find them. The majority are from the CPs. Some are from side missions. Do level 3s to clear it easier, 4s for more XP and possible loot drops. A blueprint randomly drops from the end of each though.

The system is all over the place at the moment especially when you take into consideration weapons losing damage when you actually upgrade their base damage even by 2 or 3% or there's been reports including valid proof that people are beyond the level 20 cap, as far as 23, 27 and 30!!. I'm currently level 10 about 64 items proficient which takes into consideration ALL Gear and brand sets with maybe 8 or 9 weapons so not sure how it progresses.

Everyone should be at the same number when they reach x amount proficient as each item has 10 levels.

Nope, armor regen and incoming repairs is the two that's stuck to it if I'm not mistaken. Just depends on the roll you end up getting. You can obviously apply an offensive mod to boost it if required

Max gear mods are pretty rare

Highest chance to get them is on Legendary, and it's rare even then. Countdown drops Heroic-level loot, so 1/200 seems pretty reasonable

If you're doing the farm, you need to make sure you don't open the door that exits the boss floor. You're supposed to nade yourself in the boss room. Also going back to Lobby after clearing it once will put you on 11. You have to stay on the floor for the remainder of the farm

You're doing the XP farm right? You clear the floor and boss, then nade yourself. You respawn in the same room

You don't leave the floor ever, that's only for gear farming and involves you leaving 1 NPC alive after killing and looting boss

Like after you've cleared floor 10 once you can't leave and come back to it

I can answer the 5k gear score, its now SHD level after you hit level 40, it adds a bunch of extra stats to your character (armor, health, skill dmg, headshot dmg, etc) its just people that have played for along time
