Hello 👋, I need some help with understanding how the loot system works. So my item lvl was just over 500. 2 other players I joined up with in the dark zone were around 240. I died and dropped some gear that I didn’t want to loose and was around 512. Would the lower lvld player see the loot as 512 or 300?. Also is it possible to drop loot without dying in the dark zone?

I'd assume the loot would be 512 for them, and you can drop loot in the DZ without dying, you just need to extract it and have the people you wanna share the items with in your group. Head to your mailbox, transfer the loot over and you can drop it.

Going rogue in the DZ allows you to hurt SHD-aligned players, but also allows SHD players to hurt you. You can go rogue to take someone's stuff, as the main "draw" of SHD vs rogue.

If you dont do anything to prolong that rogue timer, it'll just expire and you'll be back to SHD.

You cannot completely drop gear without dying in DZ. The items will be level 500, the level you found them at. If a lower level player finds them, nothing will be changed.

Normally players are grouped into relatively level-similar dzs, but to my knowledge as long as you group with a lower leveled player you can drag them to your level, but they'll still get their level drops.

But if you drop an item for them, it'll be the same item you got.

The normalization is mostly just talents doing less and damage being less all over the place, and changes to exotics and agents having less health.

you could try verifying your files, it might help a bit. Personally I haven't had many crashes recently, only one CTD in the last few months and a few deltas (which usually restore you to where you were when you get back in)

But if they are still seeing dropped gear at their lvl of around 300 the gear that I dropped that I saw has 500 plus could be seen to them as around 300? Or the gear that I dropped would be at 500 plus? And isn’t there 3 ways to drop gear? By dying(that’s what I was referring to), sharing(which can only be done after extraction), and just dropping it to make room in the contaminated bag container.

Think about it this way, you picked up a piece of gear that dropped from an NPC, so that gear is tailored to you. You get killed and another person picks it up, they picked up the gear that was tailored to you, not them.

Wondering if anyone can help. It seems I’m in Division purgatory. Helped someone get to NY last night with my WT5 agent. Joined him with my 40 agent in NY. Did the beginning city hall play through then fast travelled to Haven. Now, if I try to invite ANYONE, it says “Can’t invite, local player is not joinable.” I can’t join other players, I can’t matchmake, I can’t call for backup. And no one can join or invite me. My WT5 and 30 agents do not have this issue. Just my 40. I’ve restarted the PS5, turned it off for a few mins, deleted and reinstalled the game, reset my router. Nothing is working?

As well as Tara grade for the chest piece to give your team a buff
Finally go for the technician and artificer hive as it heals your shield without deploying it. And finally explosive resistance as in leg runs that is the main threat to you.

Good thinking. heal trap, frag trap and achilles pulse are the other skills you get from doing the manhunt missions. There's also the specialisation skill variants which might show as 'locked'

Shields are invulnerable on overcharge, but that requires you to have an overcharge-inducing talent like Energize or Future Perfect in addition to the 6 armor/skill cores

I used the pistol approach myself, but I've seen people recommend using explosive skills / demo grenade launcher (should damage all armor plates equally so they all break at the same time) or the oxidiser (best if you can pin him in place with foam grenades or similar)

if you do want to stick with the pistol, go for the more difficult bits first so stray shots that hit the torso or whatever won't do any damage

Questions about Iron Horse Raid:

In one week, if I completed the raid with one character, can I do it that same week again with my other characters and get more boss drops?

Also, once I've unlocked the Regulus project, I just need to do one full IH run for all of the parts?

Yes. Multiple characters can do the first run after reset for the boss drops and keys. For the regulus, it’ll need to be on a fresh run on the character that has the project. After that, put the gun on another character, not in the stash. Then the original can get the gun again.

Hey there, just yesterday on my second session on which I tried, I finally got it on the 2nd attempt.

Normal difficulty, killing all his minions first, then carefully removing his armor, using KARD pistol and decoy (lvl 0, or in this case lvl 1 coz of the pistol, so no big help anyway).

All I can add to the advices I got here is: shoot carefully, slow, avoid to hit him even just one more time after armor part broke down (especially with crit build^^) Someone here wrote: „take your time“ and that’s the best way to describe.

Right after that I got all the required 20 minigun kills in one attempt at the boat. I‘m heading towards shd 500 and played only demolitionist until then.
So I had no clue what’s required, so thank you guys here for your hints.

you can ignore the tasks, you only need to get 60 points over two weeks to get all the rewards, and you can get 40 from the speedruns alone (which are easy)

you can probably get a fair way through the disorient challenge just by always shooting the rushers weakpoints (preferably while they're still near other hyenas). Medics weakpoints will also work, as will scorpio

have you tried launching Connect from the installation folder exe, see if it's a shortcut issue? Or maybe uninstall/reinstall the Connect app

guess you've also tried setting to run as administrator? IIRC, there's a few different exe files dotted around the installation folders so change all of them
