Thats not what dead means. Dead means theres no-one playing the game. The game isnt dead, as we are getting updates and patches still, and there are people doing raids and LFGing Summit and random missions almost constantly here. You just have no-one to play with, which is fine because the game doesnt require you to be in a party for most missions.

It took me a good couple runs for vile to show up. Keep farming those control points and missions, its bound to drop sometime. Also do them on heroic if you can manage a not-terrible time, because heroic is most likely to give exotics.

@tropic tide I used the chem launcher with oxidiser. Don’t shoot him. Took two attempts as the first one killed him. Go as as high skill level as you can. Imo, it’s a ridiculous Challenge as I know it’s a barrier to gunner class for many people. There’s video on chem launcher strat on YouTube.

@tropic tide With the oxidiser chem launcher strat, run it on normal mode. If all the armour comes off, finish him in the right knee (when looking at him) with a light pistol. Don’t ask why, but it’s something I read, it work for me, and it might be to do with a visual bug where the right leg amour might still be on him but isn’t showing. I only killed him recently, last week.

@tropic tide Do bounties. Normal & Hard give 3 pints each. There’s probably around 50/60 points from bounties alone. It’s how I opened most of my points. Challenge gives 5 per bounty.
Not all bounties give points - check the rewards for each bounty. And you need to have the specialisation you’re opening equipped.

After that, you can ONLY get the regulus parts on FIRST WEEKLY KILL of each IH boss. If you killed them already for teh week, they will not drop the parts

I haven't seen any hunter in the dusk bounties, is it like where the more percentage of a manhunt you have done, more hunters will pop up on those bounties?

@languid eagle did you experience disruption to your skills and/or see a puff of smoke? A hunter appears for each of the boss bounties. In mine, they were on the other side of the room and attacked the npcs. Made it hard to spot them.

all depends on what your trying to build, green isn't always best depending on the build

you can view some example builds in the pinned message for #td2-build-advice and later on ask for ideas on specifics if needed
many just use perfects or godrolls but some builds use gear sets still and they can be far easier to get better rolls on since there's less attributes until you get some decent rolls
i guess standards are foundry bulwark (tank), future initiative (healer), hard wired (skill dps), and regular dps may vary but i built a sniper on tip of the spear to start with from one of the recommendeds while i get better rolls

when you level to 31, the new segment value updates.

if you're on a tank or something you can just try to run them out of all their healthkits, they aren't unlimited

Hey folks, I picked back up the game after a while away, and I keep getting these Lions Eyes items. I know it's for something involving Hunters, but is there any non-spoiler in-game way of puzzling out what to do with them? Are there any key voice logs or anything like that? I want to enjoy the puzzle, instead of just reading a walkthrough. Could anyone point me in the right direction without giving it all away?

Theres a couple lion's eye gems that you are gonna find lion statues to put the eyes in. If you find all of them and put the eyes in the statues, you'll figure out the way to fight the hunter.

For that one specifically, a group scoured the map for places that gave lion's eye gems, and for lion statues. Then followed the statues, which lead to a hunter in the end.
Some are much worse, though.

actually i believe its not just the first time doing the manhunt. if you RESET the entire manhunt and do it again, you can get another exotic, but you have to do the ENTIRE thing

no, generally you have more exotic drop chance on higher difficulties. Avg rolls on gear are higher based on difficulty. Purples are elimited on challenging and above as drops

to get that last 3 manhunt comms, i need to run schaffer mission again? supposedly there r 3 bosses that spawn during the 2nd run. Do i have to group w/ ppl who've already finished it in order to spawn those bosses?

yes you need to redo the mission multiple times
and no, no extra bosses spawn, you get 1 each time
thu you need to clear 4 total times (just like jupiter/hornet missions were (except there were 2 bosses)

gotcha. i didn't know there 4 comms for each final manhunt boss. for jupiter I got 3, (started after the 1st season); guess I need to do it once more to get the last one. And I have all 4 for hornet, but don't remember running it 4 times though

this season only has 1 boss so you need to run it 4 times
