Stacker for what besides Striker? Shotguns have their own playstyle and when used optimally they absolutely decimate enemies.

Use a KSG or M870 with an HF build with Glass Cannon or Intimidate. That shit slaps hard. Or you can feed one Shotgun even more by using Tinkerer with Brazen on one and Pummel in the other.

I can't really see this working. I mean... yeah, you get a hefty chunk of bonus armor for both yourself and the team, but protector still gives some bonus armor too. Taking off your shield for a slight moment to pop Scorpio for it seems kind of... I don't know? Contradictory? If you're getting shot at sheathing the shield doesn't seem like the wisest move just to get bonus armor.

I imagine that's also why you have Catharsis there, but I still don't know.

Trying play a shotgun-centric build, or playing with status effects. Or do the survival challenge of playing high difficulties with a Glass Cannon all Red build. Maybe try going healer or give your teammates motion sickness as you bombard NPCs with the mortar turret, like a true player without a spinal column .

There's many ways to tackle the same problem. That being very difficult NPCs.

The lower difficulties can be fun, yes. But those can be so easy to do once you get really skilled, and I personally end up craving more.

It's not fun when you know you're going to win every time.

Most people play Heroic for the loot. The threshold for how low the rolls can be gets higher as the difficulty goes up.

Basically the game relays to the drop system: "Loot cannot drop with rolls below x amount."

Also, as your build and game sense improves, Heroic starts to feel a lot like challenging, and Legendary starts to feel like Heroic. Master missions were meant to be something of a step up from Legendary in that sense, I think. And Escalation is gonna make it much, much harder.

Do not use the striker chest for most content. It has very few uses and it's flaws can summed up like this:

5. Run to other NPC
6. Stacks collapse to 50 during travel time
7. NPC dies faster make it back to 100 stacks
8. Repeat steps 3-8 every time

Also, don't tunnel vision on high attribute rolls. Yes, they help a lot when you have them maxed out, but for Heroic, it's not necessary.

I would rather take an unoptimized build with decent rolls and great synergy, over a build that makes no effing sense and has it's attributes all over the place with rainbow rolls everywhere, even if they're all maxed out.

Retaliations? You just start them and you spawn into the district where you need to recapture the control points. That's it. The Retaliation session will end automatically when you either succeed or fail at defending the CPs.

Big Horn is a Legendary exclusive weapon, There's Ridgeway's Pride which was originally only from Summit, but I don't know if that's still the case all these years later.

Aside from those two items, it's just the standard restrictions (i.e. No Raid/Incursion/DZ exclusives).

Special Event items like Lexington or Stack Broker are also off the table.

Seasonal items will also drop if it it's in season. For example, Cooler (Summer), Sleigher and Chill Out (Winter).

It's effectively the same as open world and Countdown. As far as I'm aware. If you can find it in those two, you can find it in Summit. As far as I'm aware, Ridgeway's Pride was originally the only Summit exclusive. Like I said, the only things that don't drop in Summit are the restrictions I mentioned, which also applies to Open World and Countdown.
