Countdown doesn't exactly drop a lot of exotics. I suggested Retaliations because you will ultimately get their crafting blueprint, and if you set the targeted loot to gloves, they might even drop for you

Those do not drop, sadly. But you can convert other Retaliation materials into those

you dont really, only option you have is to check some of those places with the buff that you can get from resupplying control points to above 50 on all their resources, that is a buff that will highlight all nearby loot for 10 minutes, and then check if you missed any, but that is not practical to do everytime

What you're doing isn't wrong. But Taco did bring up that it took more than normal for you to take down a named enemy, just wanted to let you know why, and it's essentially all the little negatives of your build that add up.

As you level your SHD more and get more comfortable with the game and refine your game sense more, you'll eventually trickle named enemies down a bit faster each time.

i hear ya, I've done it before without it, just did a lot of rolls and dodges to avoid the explosions. took off 1% regen and some crit damage to gain the explosive resistance, but it didn't seem worth it. my build is similar to djtickle's guide for the mission. i saw skillz has the blue striker build for it. can add blue to my existing striker and give it a test drive as well.

You can consider "dtooc" (damage to target out of cover) as the meta option for every gun, with the only real exception being LMG's, because they already have it. For those, throw on CHC (crit chance).
