You can reset the bounty by dying or fast traveling to a safehouse but imo the fastest method is just to run straight west until you get the 'bounty failed' message then just reactivate it, turn around and run back again

go buy the blueprints for them from Inaya (crafting table lady at the BoO), and then go to "exotics" within your crafting table.

They vary based on different factors, but you can eventually use the materials you got to craft 5 of them at a time.
Speed in Retaliations comes from a mix of knowing how they work, your build being more finalised, and just general experience with div2 overall.

e.g. shooting enemies adds time, getting a Kill Squad/CP adds more time, and shooting any wildlife reduces your overall time.

If you really want to play it safe, You can use Memento w/ Striker Chest, Gloves, Holster, Knees, and Ceska Mask + CHC Attributes /w PfE mods. Have 5 Blue Cores + 2 Red Cores w/ Crusader Shield + Survivalist Spec for another +10% to PfE, putting you at 46% PfE assuming 12% PfE mods used.

Your damage will be dogwater at first, since you'll have like no WD or CHD, but the chest should help compensate for that, giving you decent DPS at near-max stacks.

This build is entirely unnecessary, and is really only if you want to make yourself as hard to kill as possible.

Also, it makes face-tanking a lot easier, and gives you the leeway to get up into NPCs faces.

You'll be building stacks fine with the build, just don't expect giga damage numbers.

Old seasonal reward, I think. Best way to get it right now is through Snitch, iirc.

Once he gives you the location to Danny Weaver, it's just a matter of hoping he stocks the Enhanced Legacy Season Caches that give dye rewards.

There's an NPC called "The Snitch" who spawns in a number of locations across DC. You can interact with him and he'll give you a bounty to do. But he'll also Reveal the location of Cassie Mendoza and Danny Weaver on the map.

The Snitch will spawn anywhere randomly in a number of locations, but usually you can just go to the same spot nine times out of ten, and he'll be there. Cassie and Danny will not spawn without interacting with the Snitch first, and you'll need textiles to buy his caches. So basically, you need to open apparel caches and accumulate textiles to buy his stock.

The two locations I usually go are these in the red squares on the screenshot.

Those have the closest fast travel areas nearby if you ask me.

There are some talents that revolve around weak points, but they're usually niche and not very strong on their own. And since only some NPCs have them, it's usually better to just hit the weakpoints with a normal DPS build.

@scenic cape I'll tell you right now, all the of the higher difficulties are 100% not necessary to your core experience. If you like the sort of gameplay elements that Realism offers, there are ways to simulate it without playing on the hardest difficulties.

You can:
• Customize HUD elements
• Play on Story or Normal (They're both the same in scaling, it's just dialogue or scripted events that change)
• Use DPS builds that one-shot the head and deal insane damage with weapons
• Limit which skills you choose to use or just don't use them at all
• Play tactically and use builds that are low armor for that more "realistic" tactical experience

Is it perfect? No. Everything seldom is. But you can simulate Realism as is right now, to a degree.

The higher difficulties are only for getting higher rolled attributes on gear, but you can still get good items in Normal, albeit much more rarely. Higher difficulties are for people farming gear or looking for an endgame experience. It is not necessary to play them unless you're looking for very specific rewards and items.

Also, I highly recommend playing up to Heroic on your own. But you're more than welcome to see a playthrough of Legendary on YouTube. That difficulty is something else. The Devs have made certain... design choices for it that I personally don't agree with, but it is what it is. Legendary is... an experience for sure. The.... design for the early Hunter Masks was built around the theme of Summer and DC being hot, humid, and the like.

It took years before we started getting actual balaclavas. And even after those early masks, the art direction team went with beanies first, before those balaclavas.

Eventually though, they caved in and many people today just prefer the balaclava look. It shows that more people prefer that style, and it's hard to disagree with.
I hope the older masks get reworked to have the new balaclava look because some of the old desgins do look amazing, but that durag-style cloth just isn't doing it for me.

for reference, when i did my first dark hours raid, i joined a teaching group and was tasked with killing ads, alongside the following roles:
boomer:

• shout out which monitors have come online
  dizzy:
• nothing really in particular, but i'm pretty sure we had to not kill one of the minibosses immediately

• using sledgehammer on lucy so someone else could one-shot it (otherwise we would have to deal with balancing both of their armor bars)

If you look on your map, top right above the DC map, the should be a 'Pentco Fairview Power Plant' location with two mission icons, one is countdown and the other is the first General Anderson mission.
The second one is likewise next to the Iron Horse raid mission icon southwest of the DC map.

They're the only two manhunt missions which have their own icon instead of being just a different mission mode of an existing mission, might be why they show locked

Honestly, I've been doing this for a bit and I never expected to have this much fun trying out some stuff, although it also makes me realise some of it is badly bugged.

The Shroud Sniper rifle for example (Double damage on Specific archetypes of enemies separated in three tiers), doesn't seem to have it's gimmick happen until I start combat, making the first shot I fire worthless. Still fun to play with, but would be even better if it was fixed and if there was a sort of way for the game to tell us which target to prioritise, because I can't for the life of me remember on the spot what's in Tier 2.

It was completion blueprints that were less consistent but they would be they're only 50 percent

Do activities and kill enemies associated with factions to build agitation, when it reaches 100 percent they retaliate

you aggrevate a faction enough. you get a red circle with a timer in it counting down from 6 hours. you hit F on pc to initiate
tip:i'd see where they're trying to take control find the one control point you want to start and double click just in front of it to put a gps marker on it
once you initiate you got like double digit minutes to do all the control points in said zone

they also give you something called Maneuvers to accomplish. it'd be things like get 3 kills while in cover or kill the skill squad within x seconds

also, killing kill squads adds a lot of time to your timer. each npc kill also adds like 2 seconds. killing wildlife deducts 1 second. going down deducts a lot of time as well

nobody uses deflector shield, oxidizer is situationally strong

I figured as much, I just realized I hadnt really tested the deflector in four years or something.

oxidizer can also kill bugged enemies stuck behind doors, and trivializes a part of the iron horse raid

The issue was is the research isn’t conpleting after killing him exactly how it says to do it

They sometimes do, but it will be stated in the description
If it's not stated, they don't get buffed

Ambush and Assault do not buff enemies

somewhat complicated question: I currently own Div2 and WONY through Ubi's store, I think? And it's kind of annoying to deal with logging in to Ubisoft Connect. I have my Ubisoft Connect linked to my Steam account.

If I buy Div2 Gold on my Steam account, will that act as a separate instance of the game (i.e. I have to start everything over on a fresh account) or will it link properly?

I'd really like to be able to just boot the game through Steam and not have to reset my Ubisoft password every few months when I boot the game up again
