I'm still trying to work on these ones from season 1 way back in the day when the game first dropped when you actually did get clothing apparel. But this is on Xbox PlayStation. journey reward are tied to seasonal things. on pc hit esc, click on the anniversary picture inside that you should see a Journey Tab one over from where they put you initially. usually it's filled with stuff like "kill x enemies with weapon" or "kill x enemy without losing your armor" kind of deal

I think they're complaining that you can't just do Realism mode elsewhere.
It's only available for the NYC map for this month, then it's gone. It will probably make a return if it's popular.

When you release a drastically different way to play the game, you put it in a smaller area, to limit the number of possible issues.

I mean... yeah. That was kind of expected. Realism mode was an ad-hoc addition to the game that was scrambled together in a short time. I kind of expected it to be small. Honestly it could do with a lot more improvements, like TTK being disproportionately shorter for NPCs compared to agents. I expected to go down in a few bullets, but I was mag-dumped at least twice in the entire campaign, which was a bit disappointing.

But I knew Realism was going to need work. It's a great direction going forward, if you ask me. Just needs polish and refinement. Right now is just a taste.

That said, the other guy made it sound like he just didn't want to play through the entire story of WONY again, which I don't really see the problem with. You unlock more guns and skills, and you're just doing the same thing you'd be doing elsewhere, shooting bad guys and playing more "tactically."

That is not leveling. You're unlocking attachments that make no difference to the core experience. The most you'll get are extended mags and scopes (again not necessary because of low TTK), that's it. Unless you very specifically want to use a certain weapon, I could see where you're coming from a bit. But that's it. You unlock more weapons, skills, and attachments. Two of those make no difference to the core experience of the mode, especially since TTK is extremely low and anything will kill with a single headshot, even from sidearms. And there are NO classes, whatsoever. You can tweak your gear somewhat to have more ammo and more armor, but it's not enough to make any meaningful difference. Light armor, Medium armor, and Heavy armor, might change your survivability by at most, a few bullets, but nothing more. Movement speed might be the most noticeable, but even that is whatever.

Licher, I don't understand what you want from this, genuinely. You do not have to play through the story at all if you don't want to. You will gain NOTHING MEANINGFUL for completing it. You can abandon it if you want to. You can do open world activities and the game will play out the exact same. I don't think I ever used skills more than a handful of times because of how little impact they had on gameplay. All I need is a gun and to aim at the head. You can do this with any weapon the mode hands you, and gear/mods make such little difference that you might as well never change or swap it out for anything else.

What are you actually trying to do here? What are you hoping to get out of Realism if not more "Tactical" gameplay?

Is it the weapons that concern you? Cause an MP7 will perform all the same as a NEGEV. An M1A is as effective as an ACR... as long as your hitting the head, it's all a one-hit kill anyway, and weapon mods will make no difference.

Or is it the skills that you have an issue with? Because honestly, I'd argue the pulse to be the most useful of any, and you have that unlocked by default. I never used turrets or anything offensive. Never had to.

There is currently an issue tho - you cannot get Overdog's and Shroud's reconfiguration blueprint if you didn't get them from the season pass

Acquiring crafting blueprint for exotics is a relatively new thing

That works sideways via Retaliations only, unrelated to the reconfiguration blueprint that you usually get when you acquire an exotic

for time limited events you're sol on. they tend to do those and stop. rarely going back to them as well. stretch goals is about the only exception as they stated they'll do them every season and you just missed the recent on, so next one is probably 4+ months out from now

There is no fastest way as all blueprints are linked to certain activities.
Level 3 and 4 Control Points for regular BPs, Retaliation for exotic BPs and Reconstructed Caches from Descent/Retaliation for Named BPs.
