Currently it's possible without the event, just harder work as you have to lure more npcs over near the boss

That said, it seems unlikely that they would make the hunter spawn depend on a limited availability item like turmoil, so either there's another way that no-one has found yet, or they hadn't actually finalised a way to do it and the turmoil solution was unintentional.

It's so dumb... The only thing I haven't tried is EP. I've done everything I can think of.

EP won't work, the boss is immune to any kind of direct damage.

The only way for now is to use Turmoil. It works without GE as well if you use Nemesis or TAC-50.

The proper way is yet to be discovered and we're trying hard.

Ah, yea. It takes 2 runs to get enough Base Materials. Complete the one project and you'll get them all back, so you can use them on the other project. Then you get 2 more projects for a bunch of brand set pieces. Complete both of those to get the final project for the actual Regulus parts.

You can get the Base Materials on an alt character, then complete the projects on the character you took these pictures on, and finally run the raid on it to get the Regulus parts if you want to save some time.

If not, just do a raid on this character, finish projects, and do another raid after the reset.

You get the Base Materials from the bosses and final chest. So it takes 2 weeks to get enough if you don't have an alt character to do the raid on. Then you do all the projects and it takes another week because it needs to be after the reset. 3 raids total minimum. Either 2 weeks with an alt or 3 without.

you can ask about specific ones, but if you're wondering about crit, weapon damage, and amps from talents (for example), then yes they apply, but not "specific weapon damage" brands like fenris, airaldi etc.

signature weapons only look at generic weapon damage (like red cores) or "signature weapon damage" which only appears most commonly on the Tip of the Spear gear set

if you wanna get specific answers, be more specific. you just asked the same question as you did earlier, so i was unsure if you were looking for clarification or something

you were also talking about making builds "around signature weapons", the closest thing you want for that is anything based around Tip of the Spear, but i wouldn't recommend it as you don't really have enough ammo to just only use it, and you deal reduced damage to named enemies, so it's not very sustainable

One of my cores was wrong!

Turret is hitting 1.3m dps/210,000 per hit. I've Def gotten a LOT better with cover and placement.

Fully spooled capacitor turret is hitting 245k and drone 151k.

I deployed the turret in countdown with one hunter not thinking yesterday afternoon and the turret wiped all 8 players before anyone could kill it. It has such insane damage.

I've learned to always pick it up when moving. And replace. And always pick up when it's about to expire as that halves the timer. So I can place it down again in 4 seconds. Not 9.

so this just happened to me : joined the countdown, running to the countermeasures. i have a pfe build so i run to the hunter and see that my dark winter has no ammo, 0 and then switch to scorpio 0 again, and keep in mind i joined from white house. i am looking at the hunter and with no bullets

Known issue where you start with no ammo. Just don't forget to use the ammo crate right at the start before you rush to the Hunter.

Honestly, I don't really remember what causes that bug, but it's not that common… Maybe it happens when the host has the Pistolero directive enabled in the open world or something like that. I ran into it a few times last season, and I even remember figuring out what caused it, but for the life of me I can't remember now.
