I've noticed since a few weeks that I tend to get killed even while I'm being rev-hive-d and that the enemies hurt me as soon as I'm back on my feet rather than before, when I had two-three seconds to get to cover.

Did they nerf the post-revive invicibility (or whatever you wanna call the fact one does not take damage for a few seconds)?

It's especially annoying with Retaliations, because despite the fact I'm going to revive, I'll lose a minute on my chronometer.

If you're using Countdown (CD) to farm Exotics, you're going to have a long stretch of bad RNG, since no Directives can be added.

what's considered as atypical is purely subjective; you can assemble any gear combination and play it almost in any way possible.
For example I've been running tipping scales with bluescreen (resolute mk rifle as secondary with boomerang talent), catharsis mask and perfect galvanize backpack in a 3 blue & 3 red configuration, in solo and group legendary missions. I consider it atypical.

Bottomline is if you're happy with the loadout then keep using it. Change things up if it's not to your liking. This game has pretty good gear diversity even though there are quite a bit of crappy items

well galvanize talent gives bonus armor when enemies are under specific status effects and you or allies are within certain range (I forget the number) when the status effects are applied, so depending on the scenario it can give a lot of team bonus armor.

as to what kind of build well that's up to you. You can use the bonus armor for many things.
ie if you run the system corruption gearset (it's rather weak so you wouldn't ordinarily run it so this is just an example), it gives bonus weapon dmg when you have bonus armor.

I use the bonus armor for survivability and to be more aggressive in my playstyle.

The key with galvanize is that you have to apply the status effects listed in the description to get the bonus armor. Bluescreen lmg once at max stacks procs multiple status effects, so each unique status effect counts as separate stack, allowing you to stack the bonus armor multiple times at once.

I used to run it with perfect vanguard, hunters fury and st.elmo exotic in an all blue build for legendaries

hey folks... just got the game. im having trouble with the controls and flowing from one thing to another... it feels clunkly. like i'll be ADS and try to crouch into cover, and it doesnt work, i have to get out of ADS first... or ill be covering and an enemy comes up to me, i need to stand up and fight but im stuck in a crouch, or stuck in ADS

im not sure exactly whats going wrong, in the heat of battle its hard to figure it out... it feels like some actions should cancel out others, but its not working. i have 'movement exits cover" turned on but it rarely seems to work

skills have cooldowns so you can just wait a bit to get them back, cooldown times can vary between 10-180 seconds depending on the skill, Hive having the highest coooldown

I think it will count the actual damage done to you, so you need to lose armor, but if you try to do that with a maxed Zealot active modifier it takes longer, because they can't do any dmg to you right aways.

It is stupidly designed and described.
You can use another character. The modifiers level for each character individually.

Maybe I didn't express myself clearly, the enemies need to do the armor damage on you.
The stacks go down with time, so you should go in with a blue core build and just wait it out 'til the DR isn't as high anymore, but it is harder with a maxed out modifier.

You get 20 stacks at Zealot level 5 which means 200% damage resist, it needs to get below 100% so that enemies can deal damage to you (stacks go down each second).

Question about the tinkering optimization. Trying to adjust a gun. according to the libraryI have max stat. but when I 'look at the optimize window, it only says that the 'optimize' would improve like half a percent or so

You can't optimize to the max in one go, it takes a few times or less depending on how high of a percentage it has

Oh, one thing that most people don't think about, but can make a fair chunk of difference, is that every gun in div2 has an "optimal range", which when you shoot an enemy inside that, it does the full damage, but less when they're too far away.

skill haste doesnt have diminishing returns in itself, it's more what stats you sacrifice for your build to get it

it's like in lol if you play it, 100 skill haste will get you 50% cd réduction, 200 will halve that again, and so on, so it look like it's not worth it at first lance but gameplay wise it's the same, you get the same value

200% will 1/3 (0,9s)
300% will 1/4 and so on (0,7s)
so it will have diminishing returns

For eclipse you only run haste on mods so it doesn't matter. For brand pieces you ideally go status+skill dmg, usually you run vile + 1 golan/electrique.

status effect increase damage and duration, skill damage only increase damage, but also increase damage from other skills/parts
