I farmed it solo after doing MM on groups 20 damn times and they all failed. Striker + Memento goes so hard. As a duo group you guys could absolutely run the same setup and be just fine. St Elmo's will carry you thru it easily

4 blues 3 reds will more than suffice. Ceska chest with crits, obliterate, 3 striker pieces rolled for armor + crit DMG. Another piece for WD + CHD. Memento backpack. Gunner specialist. Reviver hive and shield. Typical setup for striker 😂

Felt this. Near 24 runs. 20 of them being failed attempts with idiot groups. I've gotten every mechanic of that mission memorized. Going solo honestly allowed me to clear it faster than in groups

Easy for a starter dps tho easy to get from countdown and it doesn’t come with bad stats it’s good in pve situations too depending what you run secondary with it

I use it mainly because the shock ammo is handy in situations I wanna just lay into them without return fire

The shock ammo part of it is (partially) why it's lesser than other AR's, for the deep endgame. No Talent is rough.

They've mentioend that we'll see a return at some point of some older ones, but "not yet".

If you're looking for a brand or a named item, go for the Brand in TL (targeted loot)
only go "type" if you're farming for Exotics.

Think of it like this, you go for "chest", then you have a chance to get every single chest in the game.

You don't have to do WONY after, but it gets ya goin with the new stuff, oh, then you can either, do what I did and complete the manhunts before doing brooklyn, since brooklyn stuff sort of takes place after the mahunts...or do manhunts while you do brooklyn.

can someone help me out here. So i recent got TD2 on ps5 pro i copied exact same settings as my pc brightness, contrast sharpness 10 etc etc with neutral lighting on for that realistic look. The playstyle that you see in the Streamable link is the one that I consider best for control point farming

You could also try Navy Plaza as it has easier spawn camp sites but keep in mind that travel time and clear time is key.

Bighorn only drops from Named Enemies in Legendary Difficulty, you can pick where you try to farm it.

Summit works well, some people like to stick with Strongholds, but as long as you are focusing on killing the Named Enemies there, you've got a half-decent chance.

Just FYI for the australian people who couldn't get caretaker due to the silly servers not allowing answering backup calls I have emailed this to Support to see what they say:
The Division 2 Australian servers do not currently allow answering 'backup calls' I have left myself in answer backup call for up to 6 hours and got nothing. This is extremely unfair for users that wanted to finish the Caretaker event. The AR from this event needs to be added to the loot pool as it was unfairly not obtainable due to an Issue on YOUR end making the game basically non functional for this event.
The only work arounds for this was to use a VPN to change region which risks an account ban or opens our personal devices up to security issues. In some instances players would have paid for VPN access which I would suggest was an un-needed expense if your servers were working correctly.

Will there be any way for australians to obtain this AR outside of the backup call answering? I look forward to your responses to these questions which will be shared through the australian community and the division 2 discords I am a part of.

You now get 2% per stack for CHD instead of 1% CHD. They nerfed the required stacks in half but buffed each stack to 2%.

It still will not outperform a high end SMG-9 with killer tho

Basically you have to build a niche seasonal backfire build that will most likely only work for this season. If you go with a typical crit build using an SMG-9, you can use it with or without seasonal modifiers

You got a minor point, yes. Showcasing the same old builds have been overdone. I get it. But still, some newbies don't know about those old min maxed builds and are instead relying on modifier builds. Then when the season is over, they're confused why the build doesn't work anymore. That's the unspecified part of these newer builds that not a lot are clear on. That's the issue I'm getting at.

Sure it's boring recommending the same striker build, or same hotshot build over and over, but there's a reason they're known reliable. And so heavily recommended as well. I just feel as a member of the community watching other members of the community, the information needs to be conveyed a bit better. That's all

The only content creator right now that I see actually trying to make that information clear for newbies is GCRock. He has been putting a lot of work into education videos and helping the massive influx of newbies. The "old, exhausted" builds with the new, current builds. Even how to play the raids and unlock content too. I have yet to see his production level and clear information matched by anyone else

It's possible to do, just tedious. What I did was set difficulty to normal (not sure this matters but did anyway), clear 1 control point in each zone (clear them but don't fire the flare for reinforcements), then after a short while it seems enemy attack squads start getting sent out to take over the remaining control points (for me, they never got sent out to take over the cleared/white control points, even after taking over a control point). You just then have to keep an eye on which faction is being sent out and to which control point, to make sure it's Rikers heading to Dumbo and Cleaners to Brooklyn Heights etc. Once they took over the control point, I would take them over, reset map, then repeat the process except this time clear out the other control point in each zone.

You can try farming Jefferson Trade with Coyote boss. Also, Countdown with mask targeted. Exotic caches, priority objectives with exotic rewards.

just because you claimed the rewards doesn't mean it stops tracking what you skipped

You can still get the seasonal XP for getting the unfinished tasks done, even when you completed that journey. I hadn’t seen the option to claim when completing unfinished tasks, and I finished a couple yesterday. Never got that.

only 2 ways I know for sure are legendary missions and exotic caches....so just pick whatever exotic cache farming method you prefer.
On average every 2 countdown runs gives enough countdown credits to buy 1 exotic cache.
I believe the global event is on now so you can buy exotic caches there as well, just enable 1 or 2 not so lame directives, put on a sniper hotshot build, clear control points

someone setup with an EP cc build makes it a breeze. foam and banshee pulse all the things.

setup for hazpro on all rolls gets you to 100% and you are immune to the Hunter skil disrupt so your stuff works on them.

if you have a max SHD watch anyway. otherwise a disrupt mod fills the hole.

with an Imperial Dynasty holster on I just run at the mob pack, they insta burst into flame, EP can spread it to all them and banshee pulse a couple seconds after.

then foam. absolute interrupt.

you just watch the mob pack animations. if they come out of the arms flailing part, foam then.

by that time your teammates should of been blasting them.

you can also blind fire a Bluescreen at all the mobs then banshee pulse so the tagged mobs get confusion for a second. breaks their ADS.

Hunters make it hell but they should be handled first anyway, most are away from the BT but with cc can be handled.

but all the above is a very specialized setup for a specific purpose.

my usual is Eclipse Protocol, Imperial Dynasty, 'The Courier' named pack for Perfect Creeping Death, Bluescreen, Banshee pulse, riot foam, Gunner spec.

I did the run/gun, being a glassy all yellow cc is fun.

plus banshee pulse usually reaches across Lab or Reactor.

with one person doing an OD build and one an EPcc build heroic Countdown is more than doable.

opmization is different from recalibration, so if you have the mats, you can optimize multiple times

@wanton mulch Exotic drop-rates in Countdown are low, but the sheer volume of loot that you get make it a decent choice still.
You can also try Priority Objectives, but even though there's no TL (targeted loot) for those, they are faster so

It's all RNG, you just gotta keep up the patience, and maybe ask your team if they get a fresh one, to hand it over.
Most people will be cool with it, assuming they aren't farming for the same thing.
