"upgrade" is a bad way to look at it, once a weapon is "proficient", you can add Expertise Ranks to it, but they're very small buffs to damage

Regarding the Brooklyn DLC & Brooklyn Archivist Merit..

In order to complete the Brooklyn Archivist merit commendation you need 20 audio logs, 3 text logs and 3 video logs. I believe I should have completed this because I have completed all missions more than once and I've also completed all the Danver's network (Even though it won't give me the commendation because of that bug).

However; I currently have 2/3 text and 2/3 video logs.

From my understanding;

Text Logs (Can be viewed at Collectibles > Echos > Brooklyn Echos) =
I should have 3/3 because I have 'Fire Doors', 'Born' & 'Faye' but I only have 2/3 in my Brooklyn Archivist Merit.

Video Logs = One from each main mission. Not sure if there's another way to look at this like the text logs. But I'm also 2/3 on these. When I should be 3/3 since I've completed all main missions.

Am I thinking correctly? If so that means for some reason the archivist merit isn't showing 1 of my video and one of my text logs. And I'll probably have to create/post a ticket with support.

long time ago you did things in DC upto a point where you're introduced to strongholds and you did each of them to increase your world tiers (now gone from the game entirely) then you were stuck at level 30, you'd goto NY and go from 31-40 and then you could come back to DC as you were locked into NY until you fnished the last mission there

For your friends, it's important that they do certain strongholds in their own session at the end of the original story (ie don't join you or another friend): capitol building, the three invaded strongholds, and then tidal basin.

If you're still working through the story, keep them for donating to those settlement projects that keep popping up. After that, both money and materials can be useful in the early game so do a mix of both. Later, just scrap everything unless you can extract to recalibration library or donate to expertise.

hey I just did this 4 days ago. First thing is Deactivate the seasonal modifiers. Then go to the "Grand Washington Hotel" mission. Select Story mode and right at the start of the mission there are 3 enemies who come out the door - throw a grenade there and it kills them. Then back out of the mission and repeat it . Should be done in 2-3 mins

If you do not deactivate the seasonal modifiers- the enemies have some kind of a grey protection bar under them that does not let them die to a grenade

Regarding the Brooklyn DLC & Brooklyn Archivist Merit..

In order to complete the Brooklyn Archivist merit commendation you need 20 audio logs, 3 text logs and 3 video logs. I believe I should have completed this because I have completed all missions more than once and I've also completed all the Danver's network (Even though it won't give me the commendation because of that bug).

However; I currently have 2/3 text and 2/3 video logs.

From my understanding;

Text Logs (Can be viewed at Collectibles > Echos > Brooklyn Echos) =
I should have 3/3 because I have 'Fire Doors', 'Born' & 'Faye' but I only have 2/3 in my Brooklyn Archivist Merit.

Video Logs = One from each main mission. Not sure if there's another way to look at this like the text logs. But I'm also 2/3 on these. When I should be 3/3 since I've completed all main missions.

Am I thinking correctly? If so that means for some reason the archivist merit isn't showing 1 of my video and one of my text logs. And I'll probably have to create/post a ticket with support.

Leave the cp you want flipped as hostile, and the other 3 as white (clear the first wave but don't send flare)
After a while, the other faction will send an attack party to flip the cp

The commendation doesn't say "take over 4 riker cps", it says to take over all brooklyn CPs when rikers are holding them. So you have to do something for rikers to advance to DUMBO

Same with cleaners advancing to brooklyn heights

@strange harbor Australian here: it's much easier to find backup if you use a VPN to swap over to US.

i can call for backup and people respond instantly but when i try to matchmake i cant find anybody

I mean yeah, you don't get progress within the Gamepass Project if you call for backup, so most people are trying to receive calls.

This may be apocryphal, but I've heard a rumour that your "answer" rate for matchmaking those backup calls, is higher if you are out in the LZ, doing stuff, and not within a Safe Zone/House.

My usual trick is to start a Bounty, then it trips by the time I'm about 2/3rds of the way through it.

check if there's an npc at the bridge you can talk to; I think that triggers the map marker for the next mission. Otherwise just head north from the clinic mission, next mission is at the top right edge of dumbo

pretty sure it's additive, so +5% on one piece and +5% on another is +10% from base rate
