Well it's a certain number of items and it changes depending on the item. Normal brands gearset are 100 items to get rank 10, weapons/named items/exos are like 20 donated. I may have messed those up so just correct me if I'm wrong.

i've always said that the skill set one gets from soloing legendary is very well-utilized in descent. not that you need to solo legendary to know how to do it, it just requires basically the same experience

If you are trying to reconfigure then you need to have your recalibration library filled up some at least as it uses stats stored in there to allow you to recalibrate/optimize items.

1-2k keeps giving a small amount of health and everything after is salvage points which when you make a new character is a ton of materials.

That's a good note actually: if you only "grind" XP during the 3x and 5x XP events, it can save a lot of potential burnout.

Besides: div2 isn't going anywhere, the game is very much a "marathon" type deal. You're meant to take it at your own pace.

Hey, I learned today that you can level up your Profficiency Ranks pretty fast by simply donating weapons. My dumbass was farming random items, shredding everything and using the mats to manually level the Ranks... At the end you are always smarter 🫠

The Expertise/Proficiency system is a a little complicated, but you get the hang of it fast enough. Don't worry too much about it for now, it's very much an endgame thing.

It's best to think of items at never going past Lvl 40, because that is the hard cap.
Expertise is a system where you can incredibly minorly increase some specific stats, but is mostly only (very mildly) useful on guns, don't really bother with it on armour, it's not as much as you might think.

Optimize/recalibration share the same area now and just require you to read the bottom to see which button does what.

You can open tinker and navigate to the item or go into the sub category and select the item and press the tinker button to quickly go to tinker it right away.

a hard to farm piece, in terms of how rare it is to get the stats+talent 100% correct

for example: a fox's prayer kneepads with skill damage is considered one, it's not the hardest to farm one, but it's moderately hard since skill damage differs from the core color (weapon damage, red) and so is harder to drop

habsburg pieces with headshot damage + weapon handling (optionally with the correct talent if farming backpack or chest) are also unicorns because they always drop with blue cores by default, so the attributes are also harder to drop correctly

Anyone understand the difference in XP for the conflict modes? I've been doing skirmish and getting like 1800xp or so, which equaled around 1 level (around rank 15), but I just did a team elimination game and got 4400XP and went from rank 18 to 27?

And then just now got 10500 XP from a team elimination match and only ranked up from 27 to 30. Maybe I misread the earlier match and actually got 44000XP from the match that ranked me up from 18 to 27 but 44k XP seems super high, even with the 3x XP boost.

Unless the "Dark Zone & Conflict" weekly project gave me a big chunk of conflict XP. I just noticed I have completed that project.

The first 2 objectives? Overdrive is one of the active modifiers you can equip. Equip it then activate it with T (not sure what button is on controller) and it will boost your momentum instantly to tier 5.

Simplest would be to throw on Scorpio if you have it and just use that.
It's really not a strong build though, especially against a hunter who can hack or disable your skills most of the time, so you're making things a lot harder for yourself than they need to be

If you're stuck with that build then just apply normal hunter fighting methods: stay well in cover, avoid/destroy any skills he sends your way, and only shoot when it's safe to do so (eg when he's running or shocked or in cover but with a toe poking out)

Can also try calling for backup ingame or asking for help in #lfg-xbox

The directives increase the chances of targeted loot drops and XP rewards for doing stuff

If you extract everything that drops (regardless of how bad it is) you'll gain dz levels quite quickly and then start to earn dz caches, which is another chance of getting dz-locked loot. Does mean more legwork cleaning all the extracted junk out of your inbox though

Now that Im on PC, I used to enjoy APRGs and tried D2 & Warframe, which both didnt wake my interest.

But TD2, oh boy I love it. The difficulty, gameplay, loot, content, playerbase are all great. Keeping in mind its a 6 year old live service game.
Sure the game had its down & upsizes, but never went with the risk of "suddenly getting shut off"

I think TD2 is getting content alot until TD3 is officially announced with trailers and a release date.
Until then, the grind basically never ends

I think it depends on which difficulty and gear setup you are playing. I play Challenging, and it is working pretty good for me. I just focus my fire on the strongest enemy, and if it is an elite, then I can usually take down two lesser enemies before it is dead, even if they are in cover, or out of sight.

But seems to work best with automatic fire.

Basically you're best off looking at some build guides to get a good idea of which items (with their specific stats and talents) are actually useful, then just don't keep anything else except maybe one of each named item and exotic

Is there any specific mission or way to get all the blueprint. Or it's just random rare drops from missions?

Control points are nice for those

Higher the control point, (Harder it is), the more Blueprints you unlock

I saw some players have their watch level, 1K - 2K level, Is it possible me to gain quick XP? Just bounties and public exucsion? They don't give much XP ( I could be wrong, but I play some and didn't gain much)

So it depends on world setting?! So Control point gonna be hard? And I can gain some gear set BP?

There's world setting as well as doing the side activities that are linked to the point, (these increase the tier of Control point. (Makes it "harder")

For example, if you see Public execution's at times there will be a line leading to a control point.

lot of people use the *5xp events to grind fast, but otherwise cp farmign with some directives is best

with the oneshot build to make it super fast
