I had to uninstall both the game and Ubisoft Connect (other games weren't removed), and on reinstall I was able to launch the game. It's worked for others, but at least one person running the game through Linux said it didn't work for them.

I see that the BTSU gloves only drop from Black Tusk bosses but is there any way other than Dark Zone I can get St Elmo's right now? Looks like thats the only targeted loot zone for AR.

@frosty briar BTSU gloves do not only drop from Black Tusk bosses, that's just somewhere they drop from.
Elmo is available from the general pool, yes.

You can select your own Targeted Loot (TL), in Countdown+Summit, so basically the method is:
Countdown+ Exotic Caches from its Vendor, or Summit and stack up Directives.
You can also use Priority Objectives, but that's more RNG focused.

First: make sure you have fully completed 6 different tasks of the journey (the counter adds up part-complete tasks sometimes and gives you a misleading impression of how many you've done).
Second, claim your rewards on the completed stage.

I am staying at halfway between 2 and 3. It took me almost an hour and a half of holding it there to get to 10. Then the 120 seconds one took almost another full hour of doing the same thing.

The restore armor one did the same thing. I could restore 1.1m armor from just the modifier and it'd would only count up once every 3 full heals despite it only wanting 100k for progress.

You can cheese the momentum one in the firing range, easy but tedious.

For the restore armour one, put on a shield and an artificer, start Tidal on normal, kill all the enemies in the start, stand with your shield out in front of the turrets. Go make a coffee or something and come back to it complete xD

Optimisation allows you to max out a stat on an item. It will only go up to the highest value you have in your stat library (found in the tinkering station) and can cost a lot of resources if the attribute is a low value. You're often much better off farming for a higher rolled piece than optimising

I would recommend finding max stat items to extract into the library before doing any significant optimising though

It only goes into the loot pools when you unlock it. You could in theory play with someone else that has it and have them target smgs and share it, otherwise you can wait till ~June when it'll go into the exotic pool even without unlocking it.

Are you max level? I think once you're 40, the watch unlocks and every 5 points, you can use one in the "scavenging" category, to get 11500 credits

Yeah that's probably what's happening. I think for chapter 5, I skipped blacklisted enemies and maintain momentum for 180s 15 times, then with chapter 6 unlocked, blacklisted enemy kills didn't register for chapter 6, registering for chapter 5 instead. Something like that at least. I dont' 100% remember now and all blacklisted enemy objectives are finished for me.
