The Wings indicate a "shepard rank", it baically has to do with helping out other players and getting endorsements.
No real rewards for it beyond very small cosmetic, only go for it if you enjoy the journey.

Actually earning those stars is quite a lot less important overall than just getting them passively each time you increase your SHD rank.

If you want The Chatterbox you have to:
Have Hyena Lockbox Keys and search with the div2map website the locations (note that you can only open each once a day), they have a chance to drop an Exotic Piece for the Chatterbox. After getting all three pieces, go to Bank HQ: Collect the first Juggernaut's key and when you reach the office there's a slide that opens and drops another key. When you reach the vault, go left and the Hyena Lockbox inside should give you the blueprint.

Crafting should be for Hardcore mode only (in Div3)
You start with a Pistol (that levels up with you, any Pistol)
And all the other weapons & gear becomes "too low" the moment you level up.
Which makes you have a reason to explore places and loot/use the open world crate items as well.

I would also want a hospitalised feature in it, so that if you get downed or get a delta you have one more chance (hospital resets monthly, and with upgrading Medical Wing to the max it becomes weekly)

you can farm merciless exotic, rifle target loot. merciless is the non exclusive version of ruthless and exactly the same. there is a blueprint you can use to convert merciless to ruthless if you choose. afaik the original level 1 isnt able to be brought up to level, but it also doesnt take up any inventory or stash space.

Use or donate items to make items proficient.
More proficient items = higher expertise level.
Think about it like a clock, proficient items are the minute hand, expertise levels are the hour hand.
% of upgrades are limited by expertise level. Curent max is 26% which relates to weapon damage on guns, base armor increase on gear, and specific stat increase on skills.

You can upgrade any proficient item to your current max expertise level. Expertise upgrades are item specific for weapons/gear and account wide for skills

If you have shd level you can speed up the process by running watch mules through the level 40 grind, empty watch, delete, repeat method

To further put a number on things and to backup that it isnt a quick grind even with watch mules👴...

So maybe plan out starting the Hunt just after 21:00 so you will 100% finish before 05:00.

Most Hunters do have to be completed within that timeframe, which div2 considers as "night".

Nope. You can get a solid weapon right out of the gate. They do rebalance things from time to time and add talents that could shift the meta.

The incendiary grenade has so little explosion damage (initial blast) that is pointless, the same applies to the grenade launcher (it has 100 base damage regardless of your level or expertise)

But the crossbow has a good base damage tho.

vile stacks its own damage regardless of the strength or duration of the status applied. perpetuation is a decent talent but it will only apply to status you apply with a skill. if using eclipse it will spend the perpetuation proc when a status spreads, but it will have no effect . sticking with scorpio on a cc eclipse, and capacitor on fire eclipse will be way more useful

Countdown has increased drop rates due to so many enemies, and a shorter mission timer. But worse Exotic drops from CD itself due to a lack of Directives.

if you're a collector looking up hunter mask collecting can be something you can do too

though tidious and boring since you have to do them all at night time in game

if you got them, the classified missions can be a thing to do. gives you more points to travel to in dc

1- countdown for target loot to make a few builds ( #td2-build-advice pins has a sheet with builds pinned) like suggested above. countdown challenging will be the best quality/amount of loot for time spent.

2- once you have a dps style build youre comfortable with roll through level 3 control points (challenging difficulty) these will simultaneously give you blueprints for a ton of attachments/optimization materials, and they are a good source of xp to build up your watch level.

For the federal bunker mission, the mission is not completed until you pull the lever to open the exit bunker door. The lever is on the wall around the corner of the special ammo box in that room. Like two step away from the ext door. Then you receive a mission complete system message on your screen. Make sure you do that before you leave the mission area.

Some stuff was made available. Like stinger hunter outfit and a few random pieces. They made sure you weren't completing sets with textiles... then the premium instead of textiles bug happened and they just removed textile costs for some items .

I'm unsure about the first part, but yeah SHD level increases give 1 Event star, it's why a lot of people don't bother doing the challenges and just xp farm.
I like doing a mix of both, but avoiding any that are just annoying.
