hello folks,i started new game in division 2 with a complete new character,after the intro,i went to new york to help the division in new york and then i was assigned a mission where it said hunt aaron keener down and it had its 4 agents that need to be taken down first before i get to aaron,but i didnt want to do new york missions so i went back to washington dc except there's no mission showing up on the map,the main missions are showing up as completed despite the fact that i started a new game!? does anyone know what to do?

Targeted Loot gives you 1 chance per enemy killed, Boss kills give you one chance per entire mission run.

Grind out your daily/weekly projects for easy xp and exo components.
Work on filling the library with max rolls/talents.
Mark all items you plan on keeping as favorite so you cant destroy them or accidently extract rolls for library. This includes marking items saved in stash.

Mark all items you dont need for builds as junk, first check library for any missing rolls you may have in the junk, donate whats left to proficiency (tinkering station > expertise> donate all junk). Any junk items left in the inventory, break them down for materials.

I'm doing main missions and side missions but sometimes the grind can get boring on my days off work.

and dz is dz, solo or with people you'll get killed a lot by other players thats the game

If you wanna solo endgame, look at the Targeted Loot at DC and if you get that TL at Lincoln Memorial run it as much as you can.
Pretty much endgame content is supposed to be run with a group, not solo. Like Incursion, Dark Hours and Iron Horse where you mainly get exclusive raid exotics like Eagle Bearer, Regulus, Ouroboros and Ravenous.

DZ is meant to be run with an appropriate build, not every PvE gear/builds will work as fine there. You should have a lot of armor/regen/skill (not that much) to survive. You have a lot of builds in the 📌 Spreadsheet at #td2-build-advice

If you want tons of gear from your TL, run Challenging Countdown. This mode is meant to be done with a group of eight people. When a CD run ends with a successful extraction, you get between 120-140 requisition that can be used to buy - at the CD vendor, to the right of the BoO spawn - exotic caches for 224, named item caches for 112, and gear that refills every week IIRC, for 75 req.

After you get the Tidal Basin piece , change mode for District Union Arena back to invaded and complete again for another piece. with 2 pieces in hand set GWH back to invaded and the blueprint will drop. Nemesis can be farmed from MMR TL after that regardless of project completion.

Pretty sure the level of the cache dictates what the items levels are. Regardless you'll be able to reconfigure to level 40 later.

before they merged the endgames, if you levelled a new character to 30 (WT5) and did the shd donation project, then saved the exotic cache it gave you until you'd reached level 40, it would give you a lvl 40 exotic.
No idea if that's still true with the new system, but worth a try.

Know what the odds are of getting a sacrifice chest with SH and SD are? There's 116 named items. 73 Of which drop in countdown, excluding DZ, craftables, merchants, and specialization items, correct?
I assume it's 1 in 73, farming countdown just to get the chest. Then it's 1 in 12 for the first attribute as either SH/SD out of 12 possible attributes, and 1 in 11 for the next attribute to be either SH/SD.
I'm horrible with math, is the formula for it: a / b / c / d = x?
So 1 / 73 / 12 / 11 = 0.0001% drop chance? But that can't be right. I know it's probably in the decimals, but that seems waaay too low. Could you fact-check this?

That's true. The attributes are slightly partial depending on the brand.

That's basically correct, except it's slightly lower than that lol. Since it's a red core the first attribute (I think this percentage is correct) has a 50% chance to be red, and only a 25% chance to be yellow. But your looking at it as any named item drop being exactly what your looking for. So if you look at it as "what's my chances for a sacrifice to drop with skill haste and damage" the numbers don't look so grim. I'm pretty sure you can get a sacrifice blueprint from descent and just spam credit until you get what your looking for. It's a unicorn though, it's one of the harder items to get. Generally though you typically just care about the skill damage. Getting just any sacrifice with skill damage on it isn't that hard to get and will be useable.

Oh boy. It's gonna be a loooong grind. I would go the craft route, but the rolls are generally trash. And I've hardly done any decent so I don't think I even own the BP for it. I don't really enjoy doing it the way it's designed now.
It's an alright roguelite experience. Just wish they would polish it a little more and give players more options rather than make it entirely RNG based.

In the meantime, I guess I'll just grab one up that has Skill Damage and roll the Weapon Damage to Skill Tier.
