Somebody dropped me the chatterbox in countdown, and I bought the blueprint. Can I still hit hyena lockboxes and collect the components or do I need a second character?

I've read from numerous places that you can still get the components even if you had somebody drop the gun for you, and I've also read that the components won't drop if you have the gun and bought the blueprint

You could also go full gold and run empress international with the one talent where skill kills refresh cooldown

With hard wired, if you get the timing down perfectly, you can toss 13 cluster mines every 10 seconds

When you reach floor 10 at normal diff, travel to lobby and change diff to Legendary. Now here comes the trick.

Approach floor 10 and kill only a few non-named NPC's, once the named boss spawns do NOT kill anything else than him. Leave every other NPC alive except the boss, once killed, loot the boss and quickly return to lobby and from now on you can farm that floor as much as you want.

Thank you, I figured this was the case. Did some testing a few hours ago and opened an additional 3 hyenas boxes and not a single component dropped. My issue is that my main character has the blueprint purchased to reconfigure the gun. Does this completely kill my chances to get the components from the boxes should I move my gun to my new alt character?

move the gun to an alt and you can get the components daily on your main*. the reconfig blueprint doesnt affect anything.

I do keep some of the ok exo for rare use, like chatterbox for oxi spamming, and a few other exo

1. Mark items as junk, then "donate all" in the Expertise menu donates everything marked as junk that you haven't got to Proficiency Rank 10 yet. Be careful you don't mark something that you want to keep, and never ever donate Exotic items.

2. alt characters allow you to run Projects again, which are quite valuable. Also alts can gain Raid/Incursion chests themselves, controbute to certain projects, etc.
   and most importantly, when your SHD level is high enough (we're talking well over 1500 until it's worth it) you can level up an alt to 40, then use the Scavenging on your SHD watch to get a bunch of free mats.

(Your SHD watch level is account-bound, so you get all the points on a new character and levelling them up counts towards it too)

Yes but you've gotta realize explosions can't crit. Also can't remember if the flame is burn damage for all of its damage, if so no crits but it could be coded strange.

depends on the signature weapon, they all scale differently

Specs weapons damage boosting
• Gunner, sniper, Xbow (Bolt hit only) - are buffed like a normal guns (so hsd, twd, crit etc)
• Flamer, Xbow (bleed only) – are buffed by status effect stat
• Demo, Tech, Xbow (explosion) – are all buffed by explosive damage

And dtooc, dta, amps buff them all.

ok so i have an odd question and hopefully someone can help me on this, it has to do with division 2 but also not division 2, more of account access as well as division 2

my brother in law is unable to play division 2 due to bad internet where he's at and i thought maybe i could help him with that as to sign in with his info and make some builds for him and progress his stat library and etc. i have division 2 though Ubisoft only as at the time it wasn't available on steam, he has it on steam so my question is can i sign into his Ubisoft and play his account or would i need to sign into his steam as well?

already stole the mem and rolled it back to 40 for an alt. cap didnt really get used a lot on the few runs i did so its no loss rolling it back up... its just too bad it took me 20 exo to get it to dttooc 3rd stat.
i leaned on the scorpio quite a bit in wony tho, and just used a generic ar/smg with insync.

so apparently the two secondary attributes on the new exotic kneepads can be reconfigured to new attributes. (for some reason it looks like you have to select the acostas kneepads in reconfigure but it gives you a list of kneepads you have on your character and you have to select a ninjabike kneepads to crush in order to make the acosta knees new)

seems like paving the way for what happened with all the exotic weapons, just with exotic gear possibly joining the fun

apologies. When I tried rerolling it, It would always roll with a red attribute for the first minor, and a blue for the second. So I got a Hsd expo resist, a Weapon handling explo resist, and a Crit damage armor regen. I'm not sure it can roll with for instance double red, or double blue or yellow red etc.

You will lose your headhunter / determined procs on helmets so keeping a red or purple alive while you delete the elites will help you get your proc back real easy if needed. Have a good backup weapon just in case you get rushed. Scorpio is really nice for this, but its preference.
As mentioned above, decoy is a big help.

Utilize distance from npc so you have plenty of time to react when they fire grenades/mortars/drones

Although CP3's are going to be quite fast, your build is probably just a bit low-end. Try following one of the guides in the 📌 pinned spreadsheet over in #td2-build-advice
(countdown will net you well stat'd gear faster, you don't really need to optimise until your gear is almost perfect)

Nope, that's pretty much it. I know there are better options like Dark Winter or The Apartment but I just enjoy the speed boost. Allows me to do my run n gun aggressive playstyle a little more efficiently.

My only real critique of LD honestly is that mag size. If it just had 10 more rounds it'd be perfect.

Wait 26th may be bugged, I had 25 (including Kelso 5), replayed the Tanker manhunt, then got one that should have been found in an earlier section of the manhunt

So you may not have to replay entire manhunt for Comm 26, try replaying tanker mission then recheck

I was missing the comm called "The Update" which I think you are supposed to get from one of the parts of the manhunt. I already had "Kelso 5" which comes from the end of the tanker manhunt mission, but after restarting/replaying the tanker mission I got "The Update" comm that I was missing. I think it's just a bug that I didn't receive it earlier from the manhunt investigations.

But that's just my guess, all I know is I received it after I did the replay option for the manhunt mission.

For reference, I DID NOT replay the entirety of the manhunt, just the main manhunt mission at the tanker location

instead they announce that they restarting the game... once again... with no guarantees to not screw-up and leave, like it happened before*; and seems to happen again*.

But i can't get why they giving up on TD2!? Once again, the only reason i'm not recomending TD2 to my friends, is lack of expansions, but some tries anyway.
But nobody (of my knowed) will bet and try TD3. Simply because D2/WoW solution so painfully obvious. Like there is not enough audience right now, yeah. But simpley because there is nothing to do. TD2 outselled TD1, and simple marketing can bring back people, if there will be stuff to do. Like lvl-up new specialization, and get new gadget from manhunt, and run new raid, and new campaign.

PvP is lame. And empty. It's simply competition between pack sizes. Runs in full 4 - you win. Alone - no chances. And "conflict" players runs only shootout; F'ing lamest least profitable least skill-based mode. Bleh.
Global events - just mutators, not a real content.
And by saying "speedrun" - you acknowledge there is an end to reach. What seems most players did achieved.
