The base armor on your 507 gear will be extremely low compared the level based gear

Requires no preparation. When starting a new boosted character you get dropped in with random level 30 gear and you just pick up and use better and better gear/guns as you progress

Im not colorblind but it makes seeing a skill’s radius much better. Your skills and also teammates like the restorer hive. Radar turns yellow and is easier to see

If you scroll down on an item, you can see a timer and a list of players who you can share it with. It is odd because the timer only ticks down whilst you're playing, meaning you could potentially log off for a day and still have 50 minutes left.

Expertise level determines the max upgrade percentage

7 level increments short of expertise 1. Proficient another item and you'll be able to add 1%.

The smaller 93/100 in your screenshot will show you how far you are from the next expertise level.
Each proficient item will tick that up by 10.

Using items. Donating 100 items for brand/gearset to become proficient.

Donating 20 of each specific weapon/ named item will make them proficient.

You can also craft items to donate for proficient (think improvised gear).

Materials can also be donated to specific items to raise proficiency

Explosive damage isn't great for heavies since it splits damage evenly over all their armour plates. Should be fine for dogs though as it can damage their health directly.
For heavies you could run survivalist and use the crossbow to break their armour, or just get close and use Scorpio

If I bought the expansion, and took the LVL 30 boost…. Does the original story line enemies boost to LVL 30+ as well, or will they still all be Level 8?

If you use the expansion's boost, it locks all former story content out for that player forever.
To replay the full story, you'd need to make a new character.

It's advisable to play through "slowly" on your first character, and then you can use the boost for future Agents.

The diamond thing is Black Tusk assessments, the flag thingy is easiest to get from your SHD watch.
If you open your Inventory > Resources tab, it'll give you hints on where to get each item.

Targeted Loot works as an extra drop from enemies, added on top of what they normally drop.
to increase the chance that you get the drop, have to add Directives, but it only increases the chance.

Although I wouldn't recommend playing at Lvl 30.

From first release they modified the way loot drops. You dont get loot from that starting hunters and instead get more at extraction. There was a lot of ppl farming the 1st hunters and dropping before objectives. Other than that, loot is still plentiful

The ideal thing you want is dtooc, but I'd honestly just work on farming a new one instead.
No reason to waste those components when it might take dozens of rolls to get it right, and even then it'll randomise the % of the first 2 stats as well.

Unless I'm mistaken, yeah the Control Points loot pool eventually includes the blueprints for the Tactical Assassments.
On the plus side, they have a limited loot pool so eventually you will 100% get everything from them.

If you go to the Crafting Table, you can see where the various things drop.

Does anyone else get the bug with the directive "Fragile Armor" where the Broken stacks aren't removed when using an armor kit? Only way I've found to fix the bug is to be downed or to die. Are there any other simpler ways to fix it rather than burning my reviver hive? Only cause I can think of is that it occurs after I fast travel to a mission to move around the map.

It's in a pool with almost 300 other blueprints. Just run capture points on challenging and you'll get them with time.

So you can open 100 named caches and you might get 0, you might go to the DZ and have the same luck. If you run descent you'll eventually exausht the pool of blue prints and be able to craft it tho.

RNG might be good to you idk, I will say descent is a full return investment.

yes but an incredibly small chance - much quicker and easier to get it from the raid

challenging countdown will yield a lot of named and regular gear. youll earn credits that can be spent on exotic caches. exotics can also drop from npcs, but the caches are a guarantee if you extract. 2 runs per exo cache, so around 30min investment per cache.
i would also suggest running control points in challenging or higher difficulty so you can unlock blueprints while you gain watch levels 🍻

top strikers build is usually just ceska obliterate chest, coyotes mask, and the other 4 pieces strikers (although there are a bunch of variations for more specific situations)

Ceska is way more useful on a lot of builds than Grupo is, especially Gearset setups.

A lot of the sets we have, there's only 3/6 pieces available to craft, but if it helps; crafting is mostly a bad idea anyway.

Basically when you craft, it doesn't take your difficulty into it, so you always craft at "Normal" level.

It's less "second place" and more "not as a good idea".
Basically think of it like this: gearsets only have 1 attribute slot to add in what you need, and it's far better off being CHD than CHC (crit damage than crit chance), as it's a matter of 12% vs 6%.

This is why mod slots on guns are basically always "big mag, rest chc" on the bulk of guns.

Speeding through basically requires a carry. A duo with 1 shd agent can easily complete in 2 hr or less.

You can make a level 30 build that will carry you through a lot of it. I made a skill build, I've also seen a couple use regulus builds.
You can roll down some exotics @ level 30 bench if you do a fresh unboosted agents ,goto whitehouse, do store>addon>boost>stay in dc. Buy share blueprint and you'll have access to a level 30 bench.
Scorpio, capacitor, waveform, regulus notable exotics that can roll down to 30
