The backfire might be able to do more or better if you make the fight work better with it but it means making the fight slower. You'd want to get striker stacks with the acs then swap to backfire to start gaining stacks and 4 mags deep you'll probably be near full stacks if you haven't missed and now you'd be up to the same damage as oreo and the fight is already over half over.

it is just when you actively have that gun out- theoretically you can have -10000% crit rate on your pistol and your other weapon, but if you have 60% crit rate on your main gun, as long as you use your main gun you will have 60% crit rate (60% is the cap for crit rate)

you dont aim for a number, you aim for all the attribute slots to be the right thing. With strikers you can go 4pc strikers, all with crit damage, then 2pc of highend or exotic, which will have crit rate and crit damage. from there, add crit rate attachments on your gun. If you have nearly 60% crit rate, then throw crit damage mods on your gear. If you have 50% or lower, throw crit rate mods on your gear until above 55 or so, then crit damage mods.

Elite controllers are notorious for having the worst QC ever. My elite one had a bumper quit working after a year or two. Had to return the first one I got due to a bumper requiring you to press super hard to work. Took me 3 controllers from Best Buy to get one without issues for the elite 2. I went with the elite core as it’s the exact same just without a case and paddles and I still had mine leftover from my elite 1. You can also buy the paddles for cheap online if trying to save money

I changed the Dpad from the circular one to the normal cross shaped one. I only use 2 paddles one for each side. I never changed the Dpad locations but I do have one setting for left paddle assigned to pressing left thumb stick (super handy with rav) and my 3rd setting (skills I have the right paddle set to rb and left to lb (handy for setting off fire chems) I will add that I haven’t had any stick drift issues but my LB is starting to require me to press harder. I don’t use any of the adaptive triggers I just like the paddles

Honestly Challenging is fine, I'd just stick with it. It's hard to lose a public game on Challenging.

Health minors aren't worth running. Health from brandset/gearset bonuses can be used to bolster health significantly. It's not really the best way to build or anything though.

Thats what Ive been doing, a giant donation drive, but want to figure out how to best handle the rest of it (I need 4 rifles or something, and dont want to farm countdown to slowly level 4 weapons expertise)

You've got a couple methods to farm expertise.

Item donation/usage. Which it sounds like you've been doing.

You can craft items (weapons/named are 20 donated of each to proficient). Dont forget about improvised gear

You can donate materials you max out on to individual items (I suggest using for skills that wont be used). Protectice fabric and reciever components fill up a lot when farming.

3rd method requires that you have some shd accumulated.
This will be starting new agents/alts, running through wony to duplicate shd watch. This gives a new shd watch on the alt including all scavenging points.
You can use these for:
-Shd > cash > buy 20 named/weapons to donate (30 shd per proficient item)
-shd > cash> buying skill mods to break into printer filament to donate. (227 shd per proficient item)
-shd > printer filanent to donate (300shd per proficient)

This last method requires a good amount of shd to maximize your effort. >1500 shd will be efficient time to start.

A lot of expertise 25 agents used their shd watches to get maxed out. Just remember, it doesnt have a huge impact being maxed out. Helpful yes, but not necessary to be effective.

1250 shd will give 450 scavenging points. This could have you completing 15 weapons/named items using shd> cash> vendor purchase

After 1000 your return per wony on scavenging is shd - 800

If it's your first alts , after they are drained of shd leave them as extra storage. Any shd gained after that will also see the alts gain. Once its beneficial to repeat wony, just delete the 4th to rerun

38% weapon damage sounds good on paper, but when you then get to know the damage formula in the game you'll realise it's a much smaller gain in total - binoc could probably help with a more smooth explanation of the damage formula

The tricky parts comes from how complex an activity is.

Firing the oxy skill a few times makes that quite easy, honestly none are particularly "hard".

If it helps, a lot of us older players did them pre-WONY, so a lot of the other tools available weren't even around at that point.

Any exotic (split between weapon and gear) has the same drop chance
There is no "rare" stuff outside of some exotics from the raid, but even those aren't "rare".

You either believe me or you don't.
There's data from devs on exotic drop chances - non TL - for different difficulties, it doesn't change. (for example, there's data for everything)
x% chance is x% chance, all drops are rng, there is no loot protection and if you don't get "Y shotgun" while farming for shotguns with targeted loot, it's because you're unlucky.
If you farm TL for a brand set, get 30 pieces of the brand, you'll OK average get 5 for each slot.

That's the smart part about playing on Heroic (and being able to aim). Higher health so larger margin for error and then just hit the armor.
All you have to do is strip him of armor before you kill him - not before you damage him.

The armor challenge with DCH is pretty ez too.

Aside of the fact that there are spots you can stand where he just goes derp and stands there for OXY just shooting the armor off isn't that hard if you use a single fire weapon.

Discovery stops you from getting the Exotics, Projects, Blueprints, and has easier raid mechanics and weaker enemies.
