I usually have GE on while doing LZ content, which is what I mainly do - solo, but SHD Exposed seems kinda meh to me, because I feel slowed down. To activate the pulse with a cover-to-cover in the first place, you need the debuff, so you get even more shredded. So you wait, cover-to-cover and then just do more damage. I don't know, doesn't have the same appeal to me.

exposed feels designed for short range run & gun type playstyle to me, eg hunters fury. If you're out of cover in their face you build exposure much faster and it's quick & easy to melee

Being forced to do something you never do in the game can just suck. I almost never use cover and only use c2c in rare instances. If they just buffed damage and junk in this event I can already tell you I'm going to play it while just being at full SHD exposure like I always do and turn it off when the reward track is done.

Couple things to note. Expertise levels will stay if you have done some, you can get worse rolls and have bad luck(some people roll 20-30 times), and this takes exo components which are probably in short supply for a new person.

It's a looter shooter with focus on cover play and overall gear build (why I compare yo Diablo 3 - it's more D3 than Borderlands, because Borderlands is all about the random rolls)

Destiny2 is an alright comparison, although Division is more focused on smaller group play or solo for that matter. You aren't gonna run to a random activity and do it with 10 others, there's no "public world" in the same way

You can use bulwark shield to blunt his melee, regular pulse to see what plates are still left , and pistol to remove plates.

Alternatively , if the explosives do strike plates before health, as mentioned above, you might try a stinger hive. Its explosive damage and a bunch of small charges.

When you're still leveling your season, you gotta max it to 100 to get proficiency caches after completing your season level

It goes through the same leveling as your shd level

So u wont have to worry on how to lvl it up

Its easiest to get through the targeted loot system. Farm Countdown on challenging or farm wherever SMGs are on the targeted loot map. Countdown will always be able to be farmed due to its selectable targeted loot system, while the efficiency of other missions is hit or miss.

With good players and proper builds you can get runs down to 12 minutes pretty easy, good groups who know what they are doing will be like 15-18 minutes, most would say anything under 30 minutes is a decent run. You have three bosses with a 1% chances for the guns and you get a key once a week that opens the box for a 10% chance.

Also, go for all Hunters before you start with the encounters.

How exactly does the armor break directive work? I understand I need to use an armour kit to restore my armour after it has these red bars. But it seems to work sometimes and other times I use four armour kits and still have four stacks of broken armour. How exactly does it work?

It bugs when your armor breaks while you're under a status effect and you subsequently fix your armor while still under the status effect/right after.
I've managed to avoid the bug since I realized this by being patient, wait for status effects to wear off, and then armor kit.

Never heard that one used before, but the basic idea is to run an alt once your SHD is of a high enough level (1.5k+ is usually recommended) and then spend all the scav points you get, and delete the character so you can do it again at a later point.

It's very tedious and not for everyone, but it can get you a lot of mats in a few hours.

becoming proficient means you can add the upgrades.
more items proficient raises your overall expertise.

If you have a bunch of stuff marked as junk there will be indicators in the main library menu. Itll be quicker than looking at individual items.

Mark all as junk > check library for needed rolls > donate to expertise > break the remainder into mats

Depends how you go at it, I only put in max rolls in the library, so as I mark stuff as junk, I look if I have the attribute or not if max, if I don't -> mark to recal
Once everthing has been marked as junk/recal -> Expertise -> Donate -> Library

Talents on the other hand, I just checked the library if there were arrows

In LZ/missions I usually look at the gear and sort it immediately, but I always just loot in cd

On an entirely different note, I am surprisingly almost maxxing out on some Weaves - they cannot be donated, can they? Like it's only for optimizing?
