If you just want the completion and you dont care how long it takes, a skill build will work for all but one of the legendary strongholds, but it will be slow and boring. If you want to actually run the legendary missions AND want a build that is good in other content, stuff like the Striker build in the spreadsheet (pinned in build advice) is a great build that is easy to put together and great in pretty much all content.

Since servers are offline I cannot check the xp increase from Challenging to Heroic in raw numbers, but outside of that - as souless mentions - it comes down to clear times.

You have a better chance of ceska mask targting just ceska vs doing mask. You also probably don't get much mask drops from that mission. Just look at your loot per run. Probably not the best.

I don't even use coyotes on strikers tho. Strikers meta is backpack obliterate chest and a couple things of your choice(content and team dependent). You are just slowing down progress trying for one thing you might not get for who knows how long. It is your time to waste tho but I hope you get it quickly. the cutscene is a little buggy. sometimes youll see a loading screen and get dumped directly into the map while the audio plays but no cutscene. sometimes its an extended loading screen and then the cutscene as well. i also think the system will handle 1 subgroup then the other. its all rng and nothing can be done about it on your end

I struggled a lot with Heroic CPs when I got back in the game 3 weeks ago, running the build I comfortably did Heroic on before that. I changed up the build, started learning spawns, how enemies move and slowly have been getting more efficient and dieing less. Had a lot of unfortunate accidents with the Guardian event, less so with Golden Bullet.

What you do is keep running the same cp. Clear reset repeat.
Sleeping giant is pretty good for this as it's close to a safehouse and has a few bottlenecks you can take advanrage.
Just make sure you're running inside the building inside the cp once its cleared and everything will spawn in front of you.

15% hsd, 5% dta, and 20% accuracy is what you are losing out on by using Vigilance.

100% stability is the stat you need if you want 0 bullet misses.

you can fairly easily obtain the Stability with the SHD bonus (10%), and a few mods on your gun, all but the mag size. Plus like 1-2 WH rolls.

Actually you may not even need the SHD bonus.

Matador is "DZ locked" so it won't actually drop from enemies outside of the DZ/conflict caches.
your other options are the Countdown Vendor (not in Countdown itself) can sometimes drop DZ stuff, and Named Item Caches has it in the loot pool.

In the incursion you'll be in close buff so regardless of coyotes or not is say go for 60% CHC and with perfect builds you'll end up around 160% CHD.

if you have a teammate who is going to be playing far away with coyotes most of the time, go for 50~. if not as close to 60 as possible without making big sacrifices

what i mean by that is if your at 57 CHC dont trade 12 CHD for another CHC roll

To be honest these tiny aspects don't matter so much. Shooting bosses in the face and stacking early or during immune phases so you have striker stacks and rotating properly is more important.

i would recommend trying out an AR, SMG kinda forces you to get close (which can be risky) if you wanna deal any significant amount of dmg.

SMG is very good but AR is easier to learn with imo

use stuff like fire sticky or EMP sticky to stagger people

run away more, a team really helps but is not required

a bit late, but learn how to cut strafe and regular strafe without losing momentum (touching the ground)

that will help you get out of almost any sticky situation. like buddy was saying as well, you really want to bait your opponent to mag dump first so that you have time to move behind them or catch them while theyre reloading

for instance theres your 2mill armor crit builds where movement is going to be your bestfriend. same with shotty builds
