Well you need an "anchor" for that.

So you have one person stay on the correct layout and hold floor 10 and you'd leave reset your progress and rejoin and run the floor again.

That is the simple explaination of what you do.

The tower sees that you've beaten the boss and now you wont receive boss rewards.

So in the case of being the anchor you don't get boss rewards but you'll still get kill xp and some loot but it's a selfless kinda help compared to the people who reset their progress and get boss loot after rejoining.

The anchor just unalives and runs it again without getting boss rewards. If they leave the elevator they loose the checkpoint too.

So you can have a passive anchor who stays in the elevator and you wont loose your checkpoint or have an active one who comes and helps and just unalives to reset it for you.

We are talking about 30 SHD per hour and quite a bit of loot of your choice, BUT that's good builds and knowing how to do it and quick loads/resets.

f10 is not worth the trouble to try and get xp. you can essentially save all the bs leaving/joining by running open world heroic with directives. cp, propaganda, and executions. you can get roughly 30shd/hr in open world if hitting it hard. if you also need blueprints unlocked the control points (3 or 4) do that too

On your level 40 character go to blueprint girl and buy the reconfigure BP, if it's not there you probably already own it, then go to your crafting bench and go to the section and find the gun and reconfigure it. It'll drop it like a new weapon on the ground so it'll have random rolls.

generally with gear you can recalibrate 1 slot. the rest will be locked in but can be optimized. the 1 slot you did recalibrate can be infinitely recalibrated.

the item in question isnt really worth the mats to recalibrate or optimize. you only want to adjust/optimize- highend/gearset/exotics

optimization and expertise upgrades are both really expensive so make sure the piece you use either on is a top notch piece

Yeah 16m in reanimated. It might be able to hit a but higher, but I havent actually used it very long on the build and not noted if memento was maxed or not. It just 4pc hotshot chainkiller memento so pistol damage elsewhere in the build and it doesnt benefit from hotshot. It's more utility to get ammo. Once I have a pickup or 2 hotshot keeps refilling the wd so i stick with that after. Which hits about 25m outside event and 50m inside event.
Red bar hyena rushers dont give a shit about 50m , they just keep coming 😂
I only really use memento on that build tho it may be a bit better with vig but I'm fine with memento in groups.
Yeah if you're 12m outside of event it should be 24m when its active.

I joined a random request for backup and after a bit of wandering, we ended up in The Descent, I've yet to fully understand the mode. Is it an endless wave/round mode or is it more of a rogue type mode? Or a combination of both? I only played one round since the first boss attempt was a failure. The random then decided to disbanded the group afterwards.

man i was helping out someone with a wony run which gave me an excuse to run my red FI build. i configured it for ouroboros. notice the FI buff has my total dmg for the weapon at 129.4k. the highest ive seen it before that was with HF and sokolov and it was 109.6. crazy. it jumped up by 20k

you don't need to get this build exactly btw. the most important parts are the chainkiller chest, d50 with determined, and the headshot attributes

you can check in your stats for headshot dmg. right now i'm at 208% but you can do with far less than that.

a more optimal build will be able to deal with 4 player heroic scaling. a less optimal build can just do solo heroic open world with all directives

yep anything with pistol targeted loot

you can then test it out at the range to make sure you're hitting the numbers you need

for reference a heroic elite with 1 player scaling is about 10 million total hp

so your minimum dmg per shot needs to be like 11 million

BUT with the reanimated event you get bonus headshot damage

so make sure and test it in open world to be sure

i think it's like... double hsd with reanimated? if it's double then obviously you only need to hit for like 5.5-6 million on the range

the playstyle takes a bit of getting used to so dont get discouraged if you die a few times at first

you gotta get really close to mobs, find the red/purple enemies, and pop them quickly to build your two stacks

after that every enemy will be one shot kill unless it's a chunga, helmet enemy, or robot dog/tank

so leave those for last

sometimes i'll waste my stacks to one shot kill a dog. it's a worthy tradeoff because the dogs like to run around and get behind you. anyway it just takes some getting used to.

true sons chungas have grenade launchers and covered in pillows... er i mean armor

the chaingun guys are no threat at all once they're left alone. even if you have low dps. you just have to keep destroying the chain on their gun. when they crouch to fix it destroy their backpack. then just keep killing the chain and shooting their dome in between.

the grenade launcher ones are easy too once left alone. you can destroy their backpack so they can't lob grenades anymore. but i like to not do that and just focus their helmet since their grenades are really easy to dodge.

the only thing in open world you straight up cannot deal with are rogues, sadly

unless there's a mob around that you can use to build stacks

If your playing solo the rogues are extremely easy to deal with

at least determined stays proc after it explodes. then its a red or purple or a yellow bar thats at least missing 3/4 of their armor. i run drone and turret tho help chew some armor. really handy for distracting heavies

and we came across a couple rogues that were REALLY squishy. ive never seen it before.

Pretty much yeah. The lack of talents and modability/attributes makes it a hard sell.

The best way to see Exotics in div2 is that you lose something, so to make it a good choice you have to gain something as good/better.

e.g. Memento loses you stuff, but gains you the bonus cores and boost on CQC gameplay.
