@vernal radish Yeah it's actually a really good time to hop back in. Brand new Season so there's a big player-base right now. There are some fairly persistent crashing issues if you play the outside DC/NYC missions, but for the most part it's working alright.

There may be an issue with your network/server if everyone just left immediately in a CD session

Assuming it's a full group of 8 and 7 went poof at the start, that's probably a net issue of sorts

They’re used to purchase apparel items from the store. Some have the option for textiles or premium credits for purchase. The apparel cache keys you get from leveling up or the season pass is for the regular apparel cache. @stoic anvil

it is expensive to optimize but with the recal library it's pretty easy to max stuff

if you play on heroic/legendary you will get plenty of max roll drops

and you can target specific loot

makes it very easy to farm for what you need

Yep, thats the glitch effect. the game does this by design. the progress bar is supposed to move around.

When you play it on old gen console, you know the game has always done this as it takes forever to load stuff, and the glitchy progress circle that moves around is part of the game.

and the menu pulsates and places the interact sound over and over again whenever it hits a 100% then reloads

Imagine this - they code and release this game and the DLC. Then they get tired of it, and park the game in a siding and put it into maintenance mode. All the devs working on it move on to other projects or leave massive.

Then one day, the community starts asking for more content. Only, massive no longer has access to any of the original devs, and they didn't leave notes behind about how they built the game.

So massive bring on a brand new minimal team of about 5 people to write new content for the game and develop the storyboard.

The new team start delving into the code and realise they are WAY out of their depth. They barely know how the snowdrop engine works, let alone understand the spaghetti code that the original devs built. Thats where we're at. The old bugs are all marked "won't fix", because they frankly have no idea how to fix them.

All they do know is whenever they try to write some new code, it breaks something else they don't understand

If you have tried to changed before starting mission then there's no going back you haveel to play on story first.

Generally speaking, if someone or a group go rogue in the DZ is becuz
A. They want to steal loot
B. They want to enter manhunt status.

In both cases, Rogues are like the Blitzkrieg, they rely on speed and burst damage, cuz if you dont deal with a group right away, then everyone will pile on until the difference in man count becomes too large.

So the best way to shut down a manhunt group is Tank.

Against a single Rogue then its a skill battle but do keep in mind that if they can survive the rogue timer, you will lose your loot

Back in Division 1, Nomads were the SWAT team in the DZ.

Once your group enter manhunt status, every player on the server will switch to Nomad just to shut you down

Can't agree, "tank build" isn't that tanky as you think in div2

In div1, manhunt have only 1 position to clear, and you have to close your teammates and become manhunt status again after respawn
But div2 ia not working like div1, teammates can respawn at other cp, and become manhunt status even far with their team, and just go clear

You can use "tank build" to consume or have some good position for your team, but it definitely not a best way to shut down manhunt because you don't have any burst damage to kill other rouge before one of them respawn

Why nomad in div1? Because you only have 14 gear set, imagine some of them like sentry, hunter or something else, don't have good performance in pvp, then you only have few options, nomad is one of them

If you want to shut down manhunt, you still need damage, you kill rogue faster, less time for them to wait teammates respawn

The sheet pinned to #td2-build-advice says it can drop in both DZ and LZ, so I assume yeah; I'd rather farm Summit though, with the DZ you also run the risk of losing your gear even if you get it before extracting it

you pretty much need to run 2-3 missions with targeted loot you need to get base for your build, once you got them, you can do smthing in countdown even with no perfect build

just a small, unchecked suggestion: when you're ready and your build can support you, run heroic mostly for the goal of finding maxed out mods (CHC CHD PFE HSD SCD SDMG)

otherwise, always stick to challenging, way faster and easier
