I think the technician tier helps, but it's easy enough to test for yourself in the range. Capacitor stacks will buff skill damage in real time as they go up and down, it's not 'snapshotted' when you deploy the skill

tnx right now testing. from what i see if all my gear is +1 skill tire the talent doesn't effect the capacitor damage so i think i can take 5 skill gears and 1 for damage or armor

Right, but if you do everything necessary to unlock the mission, even if you don't intend to do the mission itself, that should stop the crashing (or so I've heard).

They'll likely patch it soon at least, it's been reported a lot and is consistent enough that it shouldn't be hard to find the source and fix it

IIRC, there's a heavy gunner that spawns around that area. If you kill them, you get the key to the door. But don't take my word for it because it has been a very long time and I vaguely recall being irritated at this door.

slum.. have you checked to see if there are any opening to the back of it.. usualy with doors like that, there is a way you can run around and look through some bars to shoot a lock to be able to open it.. there is a lot of locking mechanisms like that scattered throughout the city

Do you guys think it’s better to convoy farm xp on challenging or heroic? Only way I can rationalize challenging is how quickly it can be done. I’m 554 SHD trying to get to 1000 quick. Generally play on heroic with 3 directives. Just asking to be the most optimal about my time.

the best option is the one you can farm quickly. the quicker your pace, the more you wil be able to do. so if challenging 5 is speedier for you than heroic then do so. more XP per encounter doesnt matter too much rate-wise if you cant consistently keep the pace

However there have been times when matchmaking may be slower than expected. Maybe slow hours or something, but that's about it for me.

Not every item has a blueprint, also the crafting table lists all the blueprints in the game and how to get them.

with every level of expertise gained, the amount of upgrades you can apply on that gear increases as well

Just for future reference, when something isn't working right, shutting down the game and restarting it is the first thing you should do. Second thing is restart your PC or console. 9/10 times that fixes it when the game has a problem

Anderson manhunt right now has guaranteed exotic on completion on any difficulty. Ez exotics every 10-15 mins

If you have multiple characters you can do the weekly exotic projects (donation, summit, legendary) on each of them. You can also get exotic components from control point chests, but it's quite a low chance. Anderson is the best bet for the moment.

Im doing hostage situations in nyc to get bounties to drop, but one of the hostages always starts off dead, so then when i complete the situation, there is no hostage to speak to. Is this a known bug?

if you're too close to a public execution for too long before engaging them, they execute one of the hostages - you have to get close and open fire as quickly as possible to save them both

Yes and no. If you want to stay doing world tiers and not wony then yes. To get the first part you need to clear tidal basin then a bunch of other invaded missions

Take a look at the spreadsheet pinned in #td2-build-advice, it has a full list of exotics with drop sources.

Ones that have a project to build them will only drop from a cache if you've already completed the project/got the blueprint.

Unsure about the final mission, but I can't imagine it's any different to basically every other mission in div2.

there's a bug at the moment where even if you do the pentagon breach mission it doesn't unlock the main pentagon or darpa missions. Currently the only workaround is to join someone who already has it unlocked and run it with them.

which won't unlock the mission for you in future, but it should at least get you the field research objective you need
