Seems fine for a Gearset build, getting that CHC as close to 60 as possible will help a lot.
Good balance, bit more CHD but you'll get that once your SHD Watch is maxed out.

I wouldn't use chatterbox on heroic content but that's just me. Oftentimes if u can't get an elite with one clip that's just troublesome. Plus at max rpm with umbra if you whiff for half a second that's a lot of bullets wasted and might force you to reload

Generally I wouldn't use the umbra with smgs cuz 1) the umbra innate crit makes it too easy to overcap on crit with smg 2) umbra doesn't really lend itself well to the smg playstyle

The more you use an item the more you lvl it up, once you hit 10 with an item your character is "proficient" with it, meaning A. You can't lvl it up anymore B. You can upgrade it to whatever your overall expertise lvl is. So say to reach lvl 1 expertise you need 100 proficiency lvls, that means you need 10 weapons/gear/skills proficient (lvled to 10) and then you can upgrade anything that's proficient to lvl 1

Now you don't actually need anything proficient to hit lvl 1 say it's 100 lvls required but you have 20 items at lvl 5 that means you would be lvl 1 expertise but you still can't upgrade a piece till it's lvl 10

Hopefully that's not too confusing, it's complicated when you aren't looking at it

If you want shepherd ranks, matchmaking for missions, bounties, etc. won't do. You need to matchmake for "answer the call" so you answer backup requests specifically. Also, make sure you turn on "on call status" from the SHD menu on your map.

Depends on time of day and region too: you'll find more players on in evenings & weekends EU or US time. I've seen quite a lot of calls for backup recently. You'll also find more when a new manhunt target has just dropped or some similar event that attracts people back

Otherwise, Aussie server is pretty much dead

^^^this Im truly amazed how many "low level" SHD players I've found since S9 launched... before that I'd matchmake with high SHD levels almost exclusively, people that would know the maps and the tricks and their builds etc

just yesterday I was matchmaking for the summit heroic and I was put in a group with 3 players at about 100 SHD doing floor 87 with about 10 directives on lol

It's not just that. Many of them are fundamentally dishonest. They will splice in bits and pieces of various runs to show their build is awesome, leaving out the 80% of the time they got smoked. Or they will show builds that work on solo but struggle in groups when enemies have higher HP. Or not mention the roles of other buffs they may be getting from their team members.

There was a YouTuber called "I am Fox" (who's stopped posting for a year or so now) who at least was honest enough to show an entire mission from start to finish using the build he was talking about. And he also left in the times he got killed in PvP.

To unlock points for the Technician Specialisation Tree, you need to complete the "field research" first, then have it active while you play.
Once the Field Research is complete, there's special Bounties, Projects, weekly Invaded Missions, and just from levelling up all give points towards it.

Only 8? The drop rate is pretty low for exotics. I would do countdown on the expectation of farming the countdown currency to buy exotic cache. If what u are looking for actually drops, then good for u

Well i'm not exactly sure what can actually drop them to begin with, if the hunters that spawn during exfil/named enemies on secondary objectives drop them then yeah i would expect to get that 5% drop to happen at least once considering there's like 4 named enemies + 2 end mission hunters for 8 games in a row, although i could just be getting a tad unlucky or misinterpreting which enemies/boxes actually even roll for exotics

Ah that explains it, i was running with the numbers i saw for named bosses on bounties so i just generally assumed that named enemies at the end of missions had similar rates as well

I heard something like 1% on normal, 3 on hard, 5 on challenging and 7 on heroic across like 8 different vids, but thanks trough that clears up a lot

What I've gathered from reading on this server is that if you do more damage, you get more aggro. That may be a simplified version.

It's like 1 and a half mags for the 45% weapon dmg, that sounds quite doable when you kill like one AD with 20ish bullets, shoot an elite with another 40 and trigger the stacks while shooting the boss

Iirc the gold ingot comes from the final chest so you can absolutely get that one this week if you get enough keys (eg by farming Morozova). The first one should have come from the first boss, did you somehow skip him? It's a guaranteed drop with the boss loot on the first run of the week once you reach that stage of the project

Also, if GWH is invaded in the next rotation, you can get the the BP (IIRC 2 pieces minimum for it to drop), and it will be added to your loot pool and it can drop if you're lucky. Though if the gun does drop for you the other parts will not drop unless you hide it in another character inventory or deconstruct it.

You can check for yourself by going to the Crafting Table and seeing the source of the Blueprint you're looking for.

There's quite a "jump" from Challenging to Heroic, so feel free to lower it down to that while you learn the ins-and-outs of post WONY gameplay.
As you put your build together, you'll start to learn little tricks that will make you a better player. There's no reason to rush, game isn't going anywhere.

In des2 you can pretty much jump around out in the open and fire off shots, in div2 if you don't learn cover, you're going to die.

Aim for headshots / neckshots even though they sway / move, you'll get the pattern down eventually. If you want to get bruised, learn a red (all damage) build first so it forces you to learn good positioning

Most of this is end game stuff tho, so don't really sweat it till later

Just do what you do and pick shit up if it's better than what you have as you play

There's not really much TO say since the game is pretty self explanatory till you hit 40

Yuh, you have 3 'classifications' of build: red (weapon damage), blue (armor) and yellow (skill)

You can sometimes get away with mixing and matching but most pieces synergize. You get 'brand bonuses' when you slot a piece of gear. Like, you put on a certain brand (company name kinda) and you get a bonus

So you mix and match to make your build optimized around it

You also have gear sets kinda like Diablo

My one word of advice is that blue cores don’t really actually help you stay alive that much longer outside of a group or without a specific build so try to get red or yellow builds going while you’re learning the game and the shield skills are very very useful

This is a common issue with easy anticheat games and the fix sounds dumb as fuck but here it is :

The issue is that EAC is trying to create a new system file, but it forgot to delete the one from the previous session somehow, so all you have to do is go into your file manager and follow

Once you head to NY you'll start gaining levels again, so all of your level 30 gear will become useless

You just farm and wait for it to drop. It’s best to farm any type of armor (chest, backpack, gloves, holster, mask, and knee pads) since there is no specific syscor targeted loot

Hi, just completed the firewall specialization and have started adding points to the perks you get with it, ive added the points so ive got +15% assault rifle damage, but my AR damage stayed the same, any ideas why?

same with the armour kit talent, its like the perks are just disabled for some reason

"SysCorr" is a slang term for the System Corruption gearset, which is indeed locked to the DZ.
To clear this up and have it posted in one location: Dark Zone, Conflict, Legacy Season Cache are where you can farm it out.

Also, when can I begin unlocking the various specialization gears?

If you don't have the Warlords of NY expansion, your level is limited to 30.

The only way to start levelling beyond 30 is to start playing the WONY campaign.

All specialisations are available in the base game, so none require WONY.

You just need to activate the specialisations and then do the "field research" for the firewall, technician, and gunner, which is a bunch of (sometimes tedious) tasks.

To get access to specializations, you have to complete the Capitol mission. Once you do that, you get your spec weapon trees.

Targeted loot gloves, then open world or missions or summit with as many directives as you can handle or countdown. Also black tusk medics and one other archetype have a very small chance of them dropping

Use gear to make it proficient, level up expertise to be able to give your gear extra armor and your weapons extra damage, skills get specific buffs

Use more gear = higher expertise

The first one I think is overcharge but the second one is definitely the damage buff to all teammates and yourself from future initiative

And that overcharge was activated through the btsu data gloves and detonating a repair hive since future initiative is a healer build

If you mean your skill damage then that’s due to overcharge giving them extra skill damage but as I said I’m not sure that’s overcharge which from what I know only effects skills
