Hey all, I have finished putting together the high-end skill build, currently 3 empress, 2 Hannu U, 1 Wyvern, backpack is Perfect Combined Arms chest is Kinetic Momentum, skill damage and armor regen attributes on all pieces, Capacitor as primary

Each pieces has rolls of about 50-75% of their max values

At this point should I begin trying to optimizing the current pieces, or begin working towards another build? This is the first endgame build I've done

You may as well make a few more builds before you optimise, since most pieces in div2 don't really need to be at max cap to be good.
You can probably skip upgrading any Skill Haste rolls at all and just do the Skill Damage ones, for example.

I'd definitely recommend making the "Standard Red DPS" build, it's going to be useful in a lot of situations.
Especially Raids. If someone in a Raid says "put on a red build", they mean that one.

Both about even, Summit you need to stack up the Directives (~6 is pretty standard), and with Countdown it's all about speed.

That's about how different guns in the same family work.
aka, mg5 has less mod slots than the infantry version, but slightly more damage.

CP3 and 4 is your best bet anyway, since below that and the loot isn't worth it.
The Rogue shows up after you fully capture it, and there's always one more than your team size.
e.g. 2 people + 3 rogues, 4 people + 5 rogues.

They appear around 5-20% of the time after control points have been liberated, depending on whom you ask here. RNG. Keep doing CPs till you get one spawn.

for the hunters, you can do the schaeffer manhunt in coney island amusement park, there is a hunter in there that will count for the ridgeway project, you will need to be far enough in the season reward track to have unlocked the manhunt replay.
for the rogues you can go to summit, go to any non boss floor past 4, and suicide and respawn at the elevator till you get them, it can take a little while, but every respawn you have a chance for them to spawn, and you will know by isaac saying that you have rogue agents.

Okay to clarify: LD is good for Challenging and below in Time Trials, anything else and you could use a sharpened stick and be about as effective.
Challenging is the "default difficulty" in div2 for the bulk of players. It's where you should be playing at when an objective doesn't require a specific difficulty.

Kingbreaker still theoretically top dps (I'm not a fan personally due to the handling). Umbra's decent for those who don't prefer run & gun, not too OP. Busy Little Bee is actually really good if you don't mind the overhead of having to land a few pistol hits every now and then (each enemy hit gives 20% amplified damage, so just a few is enough to give a hefty dps boost). Striker is really very strong once you build stacks.

Pick up Bank Headquarters missions and run it end to end 2-3 times, the rogues will come up in 3rd or 4th attempt after Phase 1 of the stair case.. IN the huge 2 floor room right where you can pick up the ammo box before going in

Idea is any CP (after finishing it and resetting the map for the SAME CP) or mission (after finishing it completely) they always turned up for me in 3rd/4th run

Picaros holster didn’t get fixed and it should have there is no excuse for that they need to fix it now. Especially when they can go out of their way to fix the exploit on the busy bee that is a much more sophisticated issue and had occurred only recently. The Picaro holster has been a longer ongoing issue and they chose to fix the busy bee instead??

TL = Targeted Loot. It's a system in div2 that allows you to remove some of the RNG whilst farming.
If you want to farm for a Named item, then go for whatever Brand it is.
If you're looking for an Exotic, go for the type (aka: Pistol, Chest, Knees, etc).

Oh boy.
Okay so TL can be tweaked further with things called "Directives", each one added on slightly increases the chance of a TL drop appearing alongside the regular loot an enemy spawns in.
at the end of the day, it's all RNG, so you can tweak it as much as you want, but you've still got to put the time in to farm.

If you're specifically farming out Picaro's holster because of some youtube build you saw, I would suggest checking out the math first. About 90% of youtube builds are....wrong, to put it lightly.

The spreadsheet is recommended to players precisely because it's all been worked out, the math has been done for you. Div2 is a very math heavy game, a slight error can make your build go from amazing to....not so good.

The brazos brandset will increase your chance of getting picaros. You are simply not getting named items to drop. Not every loot drop will have a named item. And picaros holster is a named item

“Fixed the issue with The Picaro's Holster, Hermano Backpack, Bloody Knuckles and Busy Little Bee not dropping from their respective targeted loot pools”

All I know is this update is a complete failure. Trash apparel event that was not working at first. Ungodly low chance of getting 1 exotic component from control point. Busy bee fixed even this it’s a recent glitch, but simple Picaro holster fix just ignored again. Overall this update is actually horrible and was embarrassing.

I'm trying to figure out how the weapon/gear (loot) crates at control points work - say I have a control point captured (green), now as long as I maintain the state as captured, will the loot crate reset everyday? Or do I need to re-capture it every time I want to loot that crate? I habitually reset my world so just trying to figure out how these crates work.

As someone that was very late to the game, started playing it for the 1st time 6 months ago, I was hooked for a solid 3 months after the campaign. I just took a 2-3 month break because I got burnt out from the same manhunt loop. If this game came out with a big expansion every year and charged for it, I would be more active. But there are only so many times you can do the same missions. And they’ve also nerf things in the game to make it take longer to do certain things. Not trying to scare you away, highly recommend in fact. Just wish Ubisoft cared more because I really just craved new stuff. Try the campaign and take it from there

Yeah that sthe common sentiment over here, we all love the game, we all wished Ubisoft didn't decided to kill it on Y3, we all would kill for new content, but we all like and enjoy this game so much that we stand by it. There's no division like game out there, this is quite unique so it's a binary choice: this game or no game.
