nope, target loot is the best way to farm 99% of items. Summit and count down being the best. Still RNG though.

You'd need to jump to lobby and back instead of wiping or the boss loot won't reset. You might find it faster on f90 as there's 3 named bosses (or f100 if you have the strats to do it efficiently)

the best improvement you can get on it is setting the third attribute to damage out of cover.
the talent is already one of the best ones, so it'll be nice overall.
some people abhor vectors for small damage per magazine though, so keep that in mind.

downside is buildup, but you do get a nice damage boost at max stacks, armor regen and a lot of skill efficiency, which is equivalent to at least an extra tier if not more at 30

ARs will always have Damage to health, that cant be changed. But the next attribute down can be changed. Best option is Damage to target out of cover.

Dont. Your 3rd attribute is bad. Keep it how it is, recalibrate Magazine size into Damage to target out of cover, then optimize the other stats.

Also, the next time you get another SMG with "Damage to out of cover" that's more than 7%, extract it. Keep doing this till you hit 10%, then you recalibrate your Dark Winter again to use 10% damage to out of cover.

Resource convoys still give double xp. On challenging with all directives it’s 500k xp per convoy.

They’re easy, about 60 to 90 seconds each. Then fast travel to the next one. Add in territory controls etc. while your in an area, and you can level up quick. Always good to get 2 resource convoys and a territory control all going at the same time…

I'd guess they weren't shd level 40, they were just regular level 40. For one of them it was their first time, the other was running an alt and got their shd levels back after getting keeners watch

DZ exclusive named items can drop from Named Item Caches - buy them using Global Event Stars or Countdown Requisition
Legacy Season Caches can drop the System Corruption gearset, and the aforementioned named items if they were introduced in a WONY season
Yaahl gear items occasionally go on sale at the clan vendor, and they might drop from DZ safe room reward lockers
Yaahl gear is sometimes sold at the DZ vendors as well. Don't recall if System Corruption does
DZ vendors however only accept payment in DZ resources - deconstruct the terrible rolls from your attempts to farm DZ loot before extracting and you will get those
And you will get a lot of terrible rolls. I don't actually specifically farm the DZ for anything other than field recon data as a result

yeah each type of expertise upgrade gives biggest effective boost to builds that aren't already focused on that stat (so WD for skill/tank builds, armor for dps/skill builds, etc)

Works out to 1% wd = .4% dps increase (hence 15 = 6%) (so 15 x .4 = 6) works about the same for skill damage for full skill builds (1% skill damage = .4%)

I calculated it as: full red build usually has about 130% WD, add in base 100% and you get 230. 251/230 = 9% increase
that would be slightly lower if you add in eg fenris, W&H or other forms of base weapon damage

Lose 1 core on 230 build so 230/215 = 1.069 so 7% loss, is 1 red core less. but yes goes lower with more WD (ie fenris etc.)

there are many better builds but you can pair something like striker or hunter's fury, with a wicked talent backpack, you can also use picaro's holster for extra damage

Hey so I have a few questions, I’m new to td2 and am trying to gear up. I’m currently trying to build a pve build so I can farm gear to then get a pvp set for the dark zone. I’m trying to get a mantis marksman rifle atm to get started with my build but I’m unsure if the way I’m farming it is effective/correct I’m currently running countdown as much as I can with preferred marksman rifle loot and running missions with extra drop chance for marksman rifles
Is this correct? And is doing these missions on normal and hard worth it for farming exotics? Because as of now that’s all I can actually solo
I always do countdown on challenging because it’s with a group but these specific main missions I can only solo on up to hard

You buy the blueprints for your owned exotics at the crafting vendor, then on the crafting bench, scroll down until you find your exotics, that will let you reconfig them

• Recalibrate: lets you change 1 stat or talent per item into what you want.
• Optimization: lets you slowly increase the items stat bar rolls up to its max at big costs.
• Expertise: lets you “level” up your gear, it’s a big very costly thing with only real good buff to weapons right now (check out an youtube video)

Are Manhunt Bounties locked to a specific difficulty for all players or something? When I did mine it was on hard but I was helping a friend through the manhunt stuff for Trig and they got theirs on challenging.. is it something to do with doing the activities in a group beforehand thus it gave them the bounty at challenging difficulty?

Yes. Just go to 10th floor. Kill boss. Leave adds. Then lobby. If it drops - and if you can t get to it , just die and respawn- will be there. (Just don’t lobby out if you didn’t pick up drop)

I got a G36 C from raid with 15% AR damage, 20.5% health damage, 6% damage to armor and Sledgehammer.
Since the attributes are near perfect roll, I wanted to recalibrate the talent, but it says "No replacements found" in the recalibration station.
My library has 24/24 talents already.
Anyone know why this is happening?
